The morning had dawned clear and cold, with a calm that hinted at the end of the war.

I set forth at daybreak to Konoha to discuss about Iwa surrender; they would have to pay for the damages they did, this would help the village.

This was the calm before the storm I had been fearing, soon Akatsuki would make its move and I would have to make mine too.

The Akatsuki were cruel, with a goal and there was no low they wouldn't reach to achieve their goals, slavers and slayers and thieves.

They consorted with mobs, mafias and terrorists just to get ahead of the game.

Konoha was a beautiful place filled with flowers and fauna that gave it a fairy tale charm, this day was particularly beautiful, maybe because the war had ended.

I sat solemnly on my horse with my hair stirring in the wind; we were getting close to the village, we had much to discuss.

"Kazekage-sama," One of my ninjas said stepping in front of me, "A scroll from Baki that said that Sasori had been captured

Sasori, the best puppeteer the sand had the disp.l.e.a.s.u.r.e of making, I wonder how Chiyo.

I nodded at my ninja and continued my way to the village; it gave me a sense of satisfaction that Akatsuki failed to capture my brother.

Arriving at Konoha, I was greeted by Kakashi and Gai who then escorted me to the Hokage's office, Mei was sitting on a corner of the room drinking tea, she had some minor injuries, while Tsunade was drinking some alcohol.

"Kazekage," Tsunade greeted somewhat neutral in her tone.

"Hokage," I said with a smile as I turned to greet Mei, "Mei,"

"Zed," Mei winked at me.

We started to discuss about the spoils of war, and how would Iwa and Kumo pay for the damages, Kumo had surrendered after they confirmed that I had killed their famous duo, things were going well, so far, Tsunade noticed that the Hachibi was inside of me, and was wary of me, to say the least, seemingly distrusting me for sealing a tailed beast inside of me, that or worried about the sudden change of the tide of power, with Suna having two-tailed beasts under their disposal.

"Akatsuki tried to capture the Ichibi, they failed of course," I said as I took a sip of my tea, "They will take this chance, with our villages being weaker than normal, to get the last three tailed beasts."

Tsunade stared at me for a second before sighing, "I know, our spy network confirmed the information you gave us during our last meeting, we have to keep Naruto and Gaara out of their hands, they can't go against those adversaries,"

"They will probably go for you first, Zed," Mei said closing her eyes to gather the words, "Naruto and Gaara are an easy prey somewhat, but you are a Kage, so taking the greatest threat first is what I would do, not only that, they have to targets in Suna now,"

"Yeah, I was thinking about that today, not really sure how to deal with some of their members though." I sighed.

"You talked about them last time like you had more information about them," Tsunade said with a stern look, "and you are doing it now again, this is the time to share any possible information you might have about its members.

I stared at Tsunade for a second before laughing, "Says the woman that allows an innocent Shinobi to infiltrate their ranks, while the only family he has hates him for something the village order him to do?"

Tsunade in anger broke the table with a punch; Mei stood up, flaring her chakra, "How did you know?!"

"I know a lot of stuff, so sit down goldie, you don't wanna fight me," I said flaring my chakra as a threat, "I'm your ally, but that can easily change."

Tsunade stared at me with angry and questioning eyes, Mei was ready to fight, for some cute reason was ready to fight on my side, she was keeping her guard against Tsunade, not me.

"Fine..." Tsunade almost spatted the words.

"I will share my information, but you have to bring him back to the village, we need his unique talents to fight the monsters ahead," I said with a Grimm expression.

"Well, this is getting rather dark, what enemies you consider to be monsters?" Mei asked me.

I looked up at Tsunade and with a dry chuckle, "One of them is the man that only your grandfather was able to fight."

Tsunade stood silent for a second, "Are you sure?"

"He is just one of many monsters, but yes," I said looking out the window, "Madara is the one behind the Akatsuki, he is not alive though,... but they plan to resurrect him, his student plans to do it, and after fighting the Raikage and Bee... Well is pretty obvious I won't stand a chance,"

"He.... the stories about him are... I think you're right." Mei said with a sad expression, "Maybe if we all fight him together?"

"We need to bring this information to the other villages! in the next Kage summit," Tsunade said with a determined expression on her face, "I'll tell Jiraiya to bring Itachi back, if the situation is this dire, we will need him..."

The next kage summit was in two weeks, to discuss about the war and how would the losing villages pay for the damages, would they ally themselves with us, we needed as many soldiers as we could get, to stop them If I destroyed the Rinnegan that would be easy to solve, after all, with no Rinnegan, there is no resurrection.

"Good, then let me share the information I have," I said, as I got comfortable to talk about each member of Akatsuki and their powers and weaknesses, every detail, including the name of the masked man after all Kakashi was our best chance to nullify the bullshit that is Kamui.

I knew Obito to well for my own good; he was going to declare war on the Shinobi world in the next Kage summit, things were getting out of hand, I had to avoid at all costs Kaguya's revival, I was no Naruto or Sasuke I didn't have the plot armor of having a god as a grandfather, so I couldn't seal her, I stood a better chance of defeating Madara, than killing an immortal being.
