Gamer In The Multiverse

Being on a ship is boring, especially when you have nothing to do for days, we have stopped in some-places to get food and stuff but that's the only entertainment we have.

During the first days I explained to Mei I had all the tailed beasts inside of me, and that I had obtained the Sharingan, at first she was silent but laughed it up saying Tsunade would be mad once she found out, to bad I don't care.

My goal mainly on this world was learning Haki, and beating all the most powerful individuals on it, like White Beard, The Admirals, the Yonkos, etc.

I really had no intention of finding the one piece, that goal was for Luffy and all the other pirates, I really didn't care what Roger hid before dying, and I cared even less about being the Pirate King.

Depending on how hard learning Haki will be, our time in this world should be short.

Mei is also interested on learning Haki, she said is sounds interesting, and it is observation haki allows you to take a peek into the future that sounds awesome.

Robin has been quiet most of the time, as I promised she would guide us to our destinations and I would guide her to the pebbles of wisdom.

I knew one was in the Alabasta kingdom, but I wanted to ensure she would cooperate first.

"We should be arriving in about two hours," Robin informed us.

Land was near, finally I would meet the Dark King and possibly train Haki with him, this is ought to be interesting.

"This guy you know, will it willingly teach us?" Mei asked leaning close to me.

"I really don't know," I said humming at the thought, "The information I have about him says he is friendly and carefree so he might just agree to train us,"

"Hm" Mei nodded.

After the two hours went by and we finally arrived at our location, my first goal was to find a mechanic, if I remember correctly that was the retirement job that Rayleigh had with his wife.

Leaving Robin behind with one clone, as she started to tour around the city, Mei and myself started to ask to every citizen we found if they knew a mechanic, eventually one pointed us out to a place where we could find the best mechanic on the archipelago.

It didn't took us long to arrive at the mechanic place, Rayleigh was standing there fixing something.

"Is him?" Mei asked.

"Yeah," I said as I approached the man.

"What can I do for you two?" Rayleigh asked with a smile.

"I want you to teach us Haki," I said going directly to the point, "You are the best Haki user I know,"

Rayleigh stood there with a silent smile, before asking, "How did you find me?"

"I... am a fan?" I really didn't know how to answer that.

"We mean no harm or problems," Mei joined in saving me from the awkward moment, "We just need to learn that technique to avoid being useless again Logia users, my boyfriend here considers them a problem,"

Rayleigh started to laugh out loud, "That they are,"

"So are you gonna teach us?" I asked him.

Rayleigh looked at me, before giving me a smirk, "How about we spar and I'll tell you if I want to teach you?"

Well it seems the opportunity to fight a proficient Haki user presented itself, "Fine by me,"

Mei looked at me and Rayleigh and sighed, "Men.."

After our mutual agreement of fighting Rayleigh relocated us to an abandoned area in the archipelago.

"Ready when you are.." Rayleigh said with a big smile, if he always happy or just particularly happy today.

Going for hand to hand combat I rushed at him, he surprisingly kept up with me with ease blocking each and every single one of my attacks, not that it was surprising I was barely fighting at chunin level.

"Not bad," Rayleigh said having blocking my last attack with the tip of his foot.

"Let's turn it up a notch shall we?" I said as I activated my Sharingan, for one reason only if he refused to teach us I would need to gather as much information about Haki as possible.

So I continued with my assault this time adding chakra to my attacks but not increasing the speed of them, it seems that even though he had no chakra he detected something different in my attacks choosing to evade and deviate instead of blocking most of the time.

"Is that a devil fruit?" Rayleigh asked mostly to himself, "No... this is different..."

He still had yet to use Haki, but it was not like I was fighting at full power, I was using mostly taijutsu powered with chakra for a more devastating power output.

Using the chakra coat level two of Matatabi I started to charge a tailed beast bomb, this was a big jump from taijutsu, but if he managed to block or dodge this it would prove how powerful Haki is, of course the tailed beast bomb was not going to be powerful enough to do anything, it was merely a flash bang, enough to kill a man but not to be called a tailed beast bomb.

Rayleigh stared at me with eyes wide open, "this is definitely not a devil fruit power.."

Shooting the tailed beast bomb at him, Rayleigh just stood there waiting for the attack to arrive, once the attack was a few inches from him, he simply kicked the tailed beast bomb to the air, there was a struggle that lasted like a minute, but he managed to deviate the tailed beast bomb to the air where it exploded on a blinding light.

Rayleigh's leg was covered in a black energy that shined like metal, my Sharingan could see it clearly.

Once the armament Haki he had on his leg dissipated I could see his leg was bleeding a bit.

"Kid that attack was extremely dangerous," Rayleigh said for the first time with a serious expression.

"I wanted to test the power of Haki... and it was awesome," I said still with the tailed beast chakra coat level two covering my body, this time it was blue as it was from Matatabi.

"Fine.. I'll teach you two," Rayleigh said returning to his carefree attitude, "It's been a while since someone managed to make me bleed, so it's worth a shot."

Mei jumped out of a nearby tree in front of me, landing by my side, "Haki seems to be a really powerful tool, he kicked a tailed beast bomb, imagine what we could do with chakra and haki mix together."

"Oh yeah and kid," Rayleigh turned to see me, "Next time you throw an attack with enough power to blow half of this place up, I will kill you.. also I want to ask you about your strange powers!"
