Bohemian Waxwings flew through the windows of the castle hallway leading to the throne room. Merging, they transformed into a beautiful, stunning young lady walking towards the throne room. Two young men are waiting at the entrance of the throne room. When they saw her both of them approached her.

"Hoping this time it's good news?" said the young man on the right with the dark brown hair, calm but hopeful

"It is" said the young lady

"Then I guess let's not make her majesty wait" said the young man on the left with the dirty blonde hair

The doors automatically opened and the three then proceeded to throne room.

The throne room is massive in size. A huge chandelier in the middle of the room. Guards and servants filled the room. At the far end of the room, a throne made out of pure gold is located, where a beautiful, elegant, regal woman sat. Beside her throne stood a man with black hair, wearing a blank expression.

"I assume you bear good news?" The Queen said, her voice expectant but very calm.

The three stopped and bowed to the Queen

"Leave us" The Queen said, her voice calm and commanding

Everyone left the throne room, except the three and the man standing beside the Queen's throne.

"Raise your heads and tell me what news you bear" said the Queen

"Your majesty, I found him" The young lady said

Upon hearing this, The Queen raised a brow and her lips quirked into a smile

"Is that so?" The Queen said

"Yes your majesty" said the young lady

"How marvelous!" The Queen said in calm excitement

"But there's just one problem" The young lady said, cutting the Queen's excitement

The Queen's expression turned back to it's cold demure

"And what is this problem?" The Queen said, her voice cold

"There is a Chaos in town, and has been creating countless Shadows for a very long time." The young lady said. Although feeling the dread of not knowing what the Queen could do to her with sharing the information, she kept her voice calm and careful not to show any kind of weaknesses. Because if there is one thing that the Queen hates the most, next to her Sister and Love, it is weakness.

Instead of being angry with the news, The Queen just smiled.

"Just one? I'll let the Chaos handle their Delinquent for I have far more important matters to attend to" The Queen said.

The Queen stood and walked to the marble wall and waved her hand. The wall opened and showed a huge vault. "Now tell me where did you find him?" The Queen said, while scanning the rows of elegant looking safe boxes.

"A town called Crystal Mist in California" answered the young lady

"Perfect" The Queen hummed in delight as she keeps scanning the safe boxes, tracing her finger as she scans

When the Queen found the box she was looking for, she waved her hand and the safe opened. Inside, a mahogany box with intricate designs carved and on it. She pulled out the box and stepped out of the vault, the wall automatically closed.

She sat at her throne once again and said to the three "Excellent job, now you may leave"

The three hesitated

"What's the matter?" The Queen asked, and upon asking she remembered "Ahhhhhh.... I know what you want, but I can't give it just yet"

"But My Queen you promised -" The young man with the dirty blonde hair said

"And a promise it shall be, but I promised once you do all that I ask. There are still plenty to do but make no mistake you will be rewarded greatly when the time comes, For now that's all. You may leave" The Queen said.

"But we've done everything you asked for" The young man with the dirty blonde hair said

"Yes and I say it is still not enough" The Queen said, starting to get annoyed

"My brother is dying-" The young man again said but the Queen cut him

"Leave now" The Queen said in warning

The young man with the dark Brown hair went to his brother "Caliber c'mon, let's not make her angry" He said in a low voice only they can hear, pulling him.

Caliber ignored his brother "I'm not leaving without the cure that you promised us!" Caliber shouted, his voice furious

"How there you shout at your Queen" The Queen said, her voice very cold

"You are not my Queen" Caliber said charging at the Queen.

"Caliber!" The young man and lady shouted after him.

The Queen didn't expect the assault coming, stunning her for a moment.

The young man with black hair standing beside the throne, just looked calm as if the Queen is not in danger

"Give me the cure, if you don't want your head and your precious box to explode" Caliber threaten

The Queen just looked at Caliber with amus.e.m.e.nt.

"Adam" The Queen just said

The young man with the black hair, turned his head to Caliber with glowing eyes. Then it happened so fast, Caliber is suddenly on the ground. Adam's right hand is on Caliber's back of the head, pushing Caliber's face on the ground while locking Caliber's left arm with his left arm. His left knee is on Caliber's spine and his right on Caliber's right arm immobilizing Caliber completely

Caliber tried to break free but Adam's hold on him was tight. Adam pulled Caliber's left arm, sending excruciating pain to Caliber.

Caliber g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain, gritting his teeth.

"What a foolish boy" The Queen laughed

"Caliber!" The young man with the dark brown hair shouted, charging to his brothers rescue

"Parker! Wait!" The young lady cried but Parker kept running

"Get off of my brother!" Parker shouted, his eyes lit up like fire.

"Parker stop!" The young lady cried again but was ignored

Parker then released a powerful energy blast towards Adam and the Queen

"Par....ker...." Caliber choked, as he helplessly watch the events

A force field appeared blocking the blast

In the shadows of the throne room, appear a young lady who is responsible for the force field.

"Do you really think that would work?" The Queen said in mock only enraging Parker more

Parker kept pushing but the young lady pushed back, a sheen of sweat forming in her forehead.

The energy blast started to weaken. The extensive use of his Gift is finally catching up on Parker. Noting that he is really ill and not a hundred percent. But Parker pushed himself even further, knowing he's already reached his limits.

"Parker You have to stop!" The young lady cried, begging

"No *Pant* *pant* If I'm...I'm going to die, at least *pant* at least let me die knowing I'm saving my brother" Parker said, pushing himself to his absolute limit

"Parker stop!" Caliber shouted

"Lilly end his misery" The Queen said, bored

The young lady pushed the force field towards Parker, hitting him. The force of impact was so strong Parker flew across the throne room, hitting a marble post then dropping to the floor.

"Parker!" The Young lady cried, rushing to him. Gently placing his head on her l.a.p

The door opened and soldiers rushed inside the throne room.

"Nyx.... ru...run" Parker said barely audible

"No! Are you crazy?" Nyx argued

"You *Cough* you have to. You can't stay here and be her slave anymore" Parker said, his voice husky

"No, I'm not going to leave you" Nyx said, tears streaming down her face

Parker weakly reached, cupping Nyx's cheek, wiping her tears

"You have to be... strong. Warn the people that the Queen is seeking. We.... can't make..... other people suffer from our... mistakes anymore" Parker said, his voice very hoarse from the pain. "You have to promise me" Parker said looking Nyx straight in the eyes.

Nyx nodded, now sobbing

"Seize them!" The Queen commanded, Her voice echoed through the throne room

"Go.... Now" Parker said, urging her

"I love you" Nyx said, kissing Parker on the lips

"I love you too" Parker said smiling at her, "Now go"

Nyx gently lie Parker on the floor. She took a quick glance at Caliber and made eye contact

The soldiers are now closing in on them

"Go" Caliber mouthed

Nyx nodded. She then turned to the Queen, giving her a deadly glare. The Queen just returned it with a smirk.

Before the soldier could catch her, Nyx burst into flock of Bohemian Waxwings

Lilly was about to stop her but the Queen raised her hand, stopping her

"Leave her, she's not important" The Queen said

The Waxwings flew swiftly out of the throne room, escaping

The soldiers grabbed Parker's arms and pulled him up, even though they knew he could barely stand. Caliber on the other hand thrashed when he saw how they were treating his brother

"My Queen, what do we do with the prisoners?" One of the soldiers asked

The Queen stood, giving the box to Lilly to hold and walked towards Parker, as two soldiers held him up.

Gripping Parker's face under his chin, The Queen forced him to raise his head

"Get your filthy hands off of my brother!" Caliber roared, Thrashing against Adam's hold

The Queen ignored him "This one surprised me with his spunk" Queen said, looking at Parker's bloody face "I still have use for him"

Parker snorted "As if I'd ever obey you" Parker croaked

"Oh.....but you will" The Queen said, leaning closer. Then the Queen whispered close to his ear "You just need a little persuasion"

The Queen extended her hand to his c.h.e.s.t.

Parker let out a painful gasp as the Queen's hand went through his c.h.e.s.t, pulling out his beating heart. A heart, glowing brightly

Parker became unconscious and his body went limp.

"Parker!" Caliber almost got free of Adam's hold. Adam hit Caliber's nape making him pass out

Adam stood up, letting the soldiers tie him up.

"What about this one my Queen" One of the soldiers asked, glancing at Caliber

"Throw that one with the others" The Queen just answered, admiring the Glowing heart "But this one" She said looking at Parker "He is my Child now, make sure he is well taken care of"

The soldiers bowed and walked out of the throne room carrying both Parker and Caliber

Only the Queen, Adam and Lilly were left in the throne room.

The Queen opened her vault again and found an empty safe box, placing Parker's heart in it. Walking out of her vault the Queen walked towards Her throne.

"It's time" The Queen said, sitting "Let the lion and the wolf hunt their prey" she said with a smile of triumph

Adam and Lilly bowed and walked out of the throne room

The Queen opened the box. The box has a velvet interior and inside are two beating hearts. One on fire but never getting burnt and the other one with electricity coursing through it.

Somewhere in Crystal Mist

Somewhere in the forest of Crystal Mist lies a country house.

In the living room

"They already knew" Jess said, talking to a young man sitting on the couch, hunched over, holding a glass of whisky

Now a shadow, Jess spied on the Summers when they got the news, that Andrew's father failed to kill his son and is now recovering in their house.

She saw how Mrs. Summers killed the shadow and also heard everything they talked about

"They said, The Queen will kill you if they found you. Is that true?" Jess said, worried

"Damn it!" The young man burst out in rage, throwing the glass

Not satisfied he then threw the bottle of whisky and kicked the coffee table, which flew across the room.

Calming down the young man dropped on the couch, letting out a frustrated sound. He rubbed his tired eyes and let out a sigh

"So it's true?" Jessie asked

The young man just stayed quiet, confirming her fear

"No... That can't be. Luke you can't die, they can't do this to you" Jess said, rushing over to Luke "We can hide, where they can't find us"

Luke laugh humorlessly

"You don't get it" Luke said "No matter where we hide, they will find us"

Jess stood there, helpless and afraid. Because it's a package deal. If the Queen kills Luke, she and the rest of Luke's shadows will have to go as well. Even if they try to hide, they will be forever hunted no matter what

Looking at the ceiling "I was suppose to be careful with my mission, but just one look at those Gifted makes me wanna rip their heads off, ruining everything I worked hard for" sighing he looked at Jess "Thank you for being always with me"

"Why do you hate them so much?" Jessie asked

"They killed my parents in front of me and every time I look at them I see my parents, begging them to spare their lives but they just mercilessly killed them with their expressionless faces" Luke said, every word laced with hatred and anger

"I'm so sorry with what happened to them. You didn't deserve this."Jess said tearing up

Luke wiped away her tear. He leaned in to her, kissing her

breaking the kiss both of them looked at each others eyes, their foreheads touching

"Whatever happens, I will always be here for you" Jess said, her voice low and breathless

Luke smiled "Good, because I may have failed my mission but I'm sure as hell gonna have my revenge on June and his kind before I die. Desperate times calls for desperate measures and that time is now"
