Chapter 99: murloc outcrop

Chapter 99 The Murloc Shows Up

Lu Yao observes this forgotten city of the dead.

The urban structure of Sanillo has largely remained the same, except for the addition of a wide river ditch.

The ghost villain commanded the sandworm and dug an artificial river ditch on the ground. The ditch extends all the way to the port in the south, bringing seawater into the city, and the water returns to the sea from the river in the east.

The river surrounds Sanillo, allowing the ghosts in the city to enter the sea through the waterway.

The micro-canal project is not easy for Sanillo, and it is still in progress.

They used all the sandworms, a total of ten, on the artificial river.

Some sand worms dug ditches in the soil, some sand worms carried stones, opened their mouths to spit out stones and sand, and tamped both sides to form a simple embankment.

The other part of the sandworms curled up to rest because they were too tired, and ZZZ came out of their heads.

It was Mayor Chapman who commanded the entire canal project. He led a few ghost villains to constantly observe the river embankment and river ditch, and exchanged opinions with each other.

Lu Yao took a look. Good guy, the two around Chapman are acquaintances.

The first generation of shaman hunted, and the second generation of leaders went away. Two experienced industrialists.

After measuring in the river, the hunting warehouse said: "This height and width should be enough. If the murlocs come, the depth of the water and the caves at the bottom of the river are enough for them to live."

Yuzou expressed his opinion: "Once the murlocs migrate to Saniro, they will need a lot of meat as food, and there are not so many fish near the shallow sea. They will definitely trade with Yaocheng in the north and Yancheng in the west."

"In the early stage, there may be friction and conflicts with them, and direct conflict may even erupt."

"Don't worry."

Mayor Chapman said: "When the murlocs move to Sanilo, of course they must accept Sanilo's city management and follow the city's laws."

"If they don't follow the rules, Commander Alexis will make them follow the rules."

"However, these will not happen. Although there are a lot of murlocs, they are no longer the seabed walkers of their ancestors. They are just an ordinary seabed intelligent race."

"Everything is to offer faith to the great God Yao!"

Lu Yao was a little confused, so he simply called Isabel and asked her to go to Saniro to check the situation for him.

Facing the apostle Isabel, Mayor Chapman immediately became respectful and flattering.

He gushed about Saniro's progress over the years.

"Master Isabel, Sanilo is different from ordinary cities. There are some special circumstances here."

"Sanillo doesn't need food rations. The citizens are all ghosts of the dead, and they don't need to eat or drink. If there is no natural disaster, every citizen will have a long lifespan."

"But on the other hand, ghosts are also born with flaws."

"We have no fertility, and the population increase can only rely on external introduction."

"The other one is labor. It is much more difficult for ghosts to touch these solid stones, wood, copper and iron than ordinary people. It is very difficult to revive Saniro entirely on our own."

"So I held a meeting in the city hall and invited the representatives of the citizens to discuss together and decide the direction of Saniro's next development..."

The meeting first determined Sanilo's first big policy: to increase efforts to attract foreign population.

Normal people will not come to this city of the dead, they will also go to Yaocheng and Yancheng.

So Chapman targeted the abnormal group of people.

After tireless efforts and investigations, they finally found their target.

While searching for dead souls at sea, Dinar discovered a special race: deep-sea murlocs.

As soon as they saw the deep-sea walkers, the murlocs moved over excitedly and circled around them.

There is no obstacle in the communication between the two parties.

   Dinar quickly understood why.

It turns out that the deep-sea murlocs are descendants of a small group of surviving seabed walkers.

The murlocs are hiding in the trench under the deep sea. They waited until the gods changed and the outside world became calm again before they dared to come out again and show their faces at sea.

  The rest will become easier.

Dinar lobbied the murlocs to settle in Saniro City, and promised to build them a suitable underwater living environment.

This led to a series of small canal projects around the city.

Sanillo is also becoming a floating city.

  …

Lu Yao turned his attention to the murlocs by the sea.

The appearance of the deep-sea murlocs is similar to that of sea walkers, with webbed hands and feet, large dead fish eyes, a pointed nose, and no hair.

They are only half the height of ordinary human ghosts, and they look a bit Q version on the pixel screen, dull.

The level of murlocs is very low, most of them are LV1, not as good as the ghost of Sani Lori.

Lu Yao searched and searched, but couldn't find the leader of the murlocs.

He asked Isabel to ask, and then he realized that the murloc group does not have the concept of a leader.

The murlocs are more like individuals gathered together, and the community is very primitive.

Lu Yao clicked on a murloc panel.

  …

  【Deep Sea Murloc Lv1】

   Health: 20/20

   Mana: 5/5

   Damage: 1

   Defense: 1

   Speed: 4

  【Water element】

Health can be recovered continuously in water, and water elemental damage is attached to the attack.

  【Dive】

Dive in water, double movement speed.

  …

  Classic miscellaneous fish template data.

Compared to the seabed rambler, it can be said to be a serious degradation.

Lu Yao continued to inquire and observe, and found that the deep-sea murlocs could neither write nor have much wisdom.

They can only communicate with sea walkers, and when they meet other ghosts, question marks will pop up in their heads. Murlocs are very fond of livestock meat and fruits, and what attracts them to Sanilo is not only ancestor worship, but also food.

Just when Lu Yao was slightly disappointed, the sea walkers headed by Dinar knelt on the ground one by one.

They worshiped in the direction of the city of Yao.

Dinar shouted: "The old darkness has dissipated, and the new dawn has arrived."

"The gods protect us, give us abundance and safety, hope and strength!"

"The gods who awaken [Egil's Fire] and [Deep Sea Lord] are destined to be our masters and protectors."

"Praise be to our Heavenly Father and Savior, God Yao!"

Slowly, the murlocs followed Dinar's example and worshiped clumsily.

A lot of garbled characters appeared above each deep-sea murloc's head.

   Garbled characters gradually become clear.

   "Praise...Father, God Yao!"

   "Praise me...Father, God Yao!"

"Praise be to our Heavenly Father and Savior, God Yao!"

This kind of group kneeling seems to make the murlocs very excited, with joyful smiling faces on their heads.

A reminder appears on the emulator.

【Ancestral worship inspired the deep sea murlocs. 】

  【The spectacle inspired the deep-sea murlocs. 】

【The deep-sea murlocs rekindled the fire of faith. 】

   Lu Yao saw it.

In the upper right corner of the interface, the numbers in the Population column and Faith column begin to increase synchronously.

  +25

  +114

  +126

  …

Before and after, the two items have been rising by 2900 points before they stabilize completely.

Sanilo actually brought in so many murlocs, which Lu Yao didn't expect at all.

After the deep-sea murlocs settled in the city's canals, their first act was to spontaneously build temples.

Groups of murlocs moved stones and dug underwater soil, working hard day and night. Under the guidance of the ghosts, they built the temple of Yao God belonging to the city of Sanilo.

Although the new temple is not very beautiful, Lu Yao can use it.

So far, the three cities and three temples have completely connected them.

The fly in the ointment is that although the murlocs quickly accepted their faith, the gap between writing and language still remained. It will take a lot of time for them to really learn the local characters and language.

Dinar suddenly found Isabel in a hurry.

"Master Apostle, there is an important piece of information that I need to report to you immediately."

"The murlocs said that there is an evil **** in the north of the land in the east. That evil **** once killed many murlocs, used murloc corpses for rituals, and fed a green thing on the ground..."

"Maybe that is the evil **** Lord Yao is hunting for."

  Lu Yao immediately cheered up.

   What a coincidence, isn't it?

This is called more support than justice.

Cities, ghosts, and murlocs are all mine. What do you use to fight me?

Thanks for the reciprocal support of 100 starting coins.
