The levels Kris had received after defeating Brood Mother and the Giant Cave Spider was a whopping 145, almost doubled the amount on previous level giving him free 1740 status points and addition to the unspent status points which is 800 and if added, he had been given 2540 in all.

His levelling speed couldn't be compared to even the top rankers in this game. Who would believe that a player had able to earn 296 level in just a couple of hours. No one would believe it because reaching that level, at fastest time would be 2 years and that alone is already very fast.

The class upgrade is also very beneficial. It had rose the effectivity of my skills. He could now do a maximum of 3 cables, meaning that he don't to have to use my head to retrieve the cables since it takes a second to activate meaning by just placing another cable, he could quickly change directions but it will take time, he still hasn't fully grasp the mastery of the weapon and if he could master it, he can truly show the power sleeping inside the weapon.

But what was weird is that, Kris only received the upgrade once he was level 200. When he was still a dual wielder class, he could receive a class upgrade in level hundredths.

"Hidden classes must have a various differences with normal class." He could only think of that idea since he haven't encountered anyone with a hidden class, he only heard hidden classes on the news but he never cared of it since he knew that he wouldn't acquire something like that in his life.

Since billions of players had played the game, World of Legends, there were now millions of players that had receive hidden classes.

But getting one is a 1 one in a thousand.

The gap of a second in a fight could determine the victor.

I haven't picked up the loot drops from the Giant Cave spiders and Brood Mother's.

He saw that they had pendants similar to Jared's so he could tell that they are his companions.

"Don't you worry, is there a possibility that you are all Jared's companions?"

I asked them but when they heard his name, their expressions began to stiffen.

"Is he alive?" An average man with blonde hair wearing light armor asked.

"Yes, he had even retired from being a knight because he had grieved about all of you."

I straightforwardly told them.

"What a shameful bastard! That are lies! All lies I tell you!"

The blonde guy clenched his fist tightly.

"What other thing did he said?" An slim man wearing leather robe asked.

"He gave me a quest to retrieve your pendants from your supposed to be remains."

I said to them but then their sad tone that had been due to their confinement from the Spiders had been change to murderous intent.

"That bastard! Do you know what? The reason why he had retire is because of a failed mission and losing knights that had a value of a 100 soldiers. That's why he had wanted you to retrieve our pendants for him to have a proof that his reasons would be justified and he did will believe that he did not lost us but will believed as a kight killed in action so we would be blamed for all his mistakes."

"By the way what's your name young benefactor?" The bald man ask.

"Its Kris and please don't call me your benefactor, I just had to do what was right." A simple sympathy to rise one's affinity on NPCs!

"No no, we should be very grateful to you, you have saved our lives and now we are in your debt. My name is Zando a Shield Knight." The black man said.

"I am Jeremiah, a Tier 2 mage" the slim man in a robe greeted me with a hand shake.

"And I'm Stan, a Rogue Marksman" The average man in light armor smiled.

Their traits were surprising, Zando was a very kind person but is very simple minded, Jeremiah is a very intelligent person but is a scared cat and Stan is an all in one model; justifies the weak, lives in hardship and has very sharp senses but he is easily angered and is weak on magic. But my conclusion is still great, they are a very strong trio if nurtured well.

"Please help us! We cannot enter the kingdom since we have been marked as fugitives we only want you to bring his head to us! We don't have any compensation but what we can give you is our loyalty, whenever and wherever you need our help, you can summon us!"

'This became a very unexpected twist!' Kris thought to myself.

TRIO'S VENGEANCE

Kill Jared and return his head back to his ex-companions and they will reward you with their loyalty.

Warning! You will become a fugitive if you kill a Knight from the kingdom and if you are captured, you will be imprisoned for a year on the game's time.

Rewards: +3 levels, Maximum affinity to Zando, Jeremiah, and Stan. Personal Guard icon will be unlocked.

Penalty: NPCs will not talk to you or give you quests. You will be imprisoned for a year.

The penalty was extremely scary! A year on prison confinement meant that Kris couldn't play for 3 months and not be able to talk to NPCs would slow my speed in leveling. But I can't decline it since he could feel the hatred on a companion they had trusted only resulting to betrayal.

"I will be sure to avenge your hatred and kill him to make sure your vengeance will been relinquished!"

"But for now, can you help me pile up all the items, runestones and coins in order because I have something to do with them."

"Yes will help you!" The all agreed in unison.

30 minutes have passed after finishing picking the items. The items that had belong to them, he had given it to them and other types of items that might be of use to them. Kris wouldn't give them any of it since he had solely defeated all the spiders and the brood mother but because of the restriction applied to him that he would not be able to use any other weapon except for this, it was only right to give it to them that wouldn't only benefit them but also for him.

"This is a very great harvest!"

Kris said to himself, 244 items; 58 runes, 67 gold, 187 silvers and 254 bronze coins.

Kris arrange the items among their rating.

88 scrap items, 59 normal items, 33 rare items, 27 very rare items, 24 ultra rare items and 13 epic items. But since they have equipped the items that I have given to them (Also they had personally chose items of their ranking only from ultra rare and below since I told them not to touch the other 10 epic items) and the 3 of the epic items were very suitable for them.

This result left him with 88 scrap items, 55 normal items, 30 rare items, 24 very rare items, 19 ultra rare items and 10 epic items.

After they equipped their new items, they looked very cool and dazzling they had now became overgeared knights.

"Thank you for this new items you had given to us! You not only would help us kill Jared for us, you had also gave us this equipments for free! We are really in your debt!" Zando happily spoke. He could see their first happiness coming from them ever since they had suffered despair ,a sense exile and hatred. It was only natural to make them happy to disperse the negative aura they had emit.

"Seeing you all happy is my only payment" Kris smiled while patting their shoulders.

Tears fell down their eyes after hearing my words. They were glad that they could serve such a kind master.

"After you finish this task, we will be forever loyal to you!" Jeremiah declared.

"We would even throw our heads on the blade for your safety!" Zando while showing a serious tone.

"We will do anything that you want us to do, if someone tries to hurt you, we will not hesitate to kill them."

"Thank you for your kindness but don't worry, I'll be okay and I won't let you be in dangered because you already been my friends" Kris was saying the truth, I wouldn't waste such good NPCs and he had already sacrifice much for them.

After finish talking, he checked my items.

"I could sell this normal items for 5 gold."

Kris threw away the scrap items since they are garbage while the rare and above rate, he kept them for another use.

"Identify! Identify!....." First, he checked the rare items.

He had chosen specific items to use and to not use.

"Devour this ten rare items." Kris placed his right hand on the pile of rare items on the ground then a violet aura began to circulate on his arms flowing down through the items causing all of it to disappear while the weapon, Aerial Blade had glowed in blue light for a moment then a window panel appeared in front of him.

Tornado Slash (AoE)[3.4%]: Spins in a circular motion with a range of 3 meters that deals 100% Base damage. Decreases enemy's physical defense by 5%. (Stacks up to 20 times.)

Cool down: 2.4 seconds

Aerial Cable (Blink): Shoots out an arrowed cable to a wall or any type of obstacle that it can stick to causing the user to fly to that certain direction of the wall in a speed of 8 m/s.

If another cable is placed to another wall, the direction will differ on the center angle of the two cables. The speed of the flight will also depend on the type of angle made.

Obtuse Angle: Speed of flight will decrease by1.0x-0.2x.

Acute Angle: Speed of flight will increase by 2.0x+3.0x.

If another cable is placed resulting into triple cables, the first cable placed will automatically return back to the projector. This effect will stack if another cable is shot.

While in flight, if the user contacts a target, Tornado slash will be automatically triggered. Tornado slash will trigger again every time he contacts a target and or placing another cable.

All of his skills have been enhance over 4 folds. But he was more glad after seeing that he could do a maximum of 6 cables.

Jeremiah inspected my weapon, he looked weird when check every details on my scabbard and the projector by sniffing, l.i.c.k.i.n.g its taste, and closely listening to the sound it makes when he taps it. Kris understood why Jeremiah was like that, it was his trait; L.u.s.t for Knowledge.

"Your disrespecting our benefactor." Stan had hit his head and spoke in a very cold tone.

"Haha, its okay I understood why he is like that, even I am still confused on what it actually does. I only have a bit of knowledge from this weapon. If you really want me to show what it can do, follow me."
