Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 41 Another Battle with Gryffindor

After class in the afternoon, the selection of Slytherin's Quidditch alternates began.

As the newly appointed captain and the Seeker, Johanna naturally took over from the prefect who had become the student body president in seventh grade and became the host of the selection.

Lu Ke was responsible for recording the results.

Almost all the first and second years of Slytherin signed up and they all loved Quidditch.

There’s almost no one in the wizarding world who doesn’t love Quidditch.

The selection items are actually the same as last time. Lu Ke does not have to be here, but the Slytherins will feel more comfortable if he is here.

After all, he was the one who destroyed the original team two years ago and single-handedly built the current team.

Lu Ke sat by the side of the court and watched the performance of each candidate, and then wrote down their results.

Johanna and other team members stood together and pointed at the candidates, but in the end, they were not too surprised.

Except for the former players who voluntarily gave up because they were promoted to senior years, the freshmen have not been able to replace the current players.

So in the end they just picked two batsmen, a wicketkeeper, and the rest were all replacements.

Master Malfoy performed very well and became Johanna's backup.

They completed the selection before dinner, and then Lu Ke compared the results while eating and announced the results at the long table.

The cheers of the Slytherins also attracted the attention of the other three houses.

On the Gryffindor side, the twins came directly to inquire about the military situation.

Johanna didn't care and announced the results of the selection generously.

Cedric of Hufflepuff and Roger Davis of Ravenclaw were very satisfied with this result. After all, they were all expected, and there were no particularly outstanding newcomers.

Ever since Lu Ke took out those tables, the Quidditch captains of other colleges quickly learned to judge a player's strength based on data. Looking at the performance of these new players, they all have average abilities.

But the Slytherins didn't think so. They all believed that the new players made the team stronger.

Lu Ke and Johanna quickly put the matter aside.

"Did you talk to that notebook?"

Lu Ke asked carefully.

Johanna shook her head: "I have to prepare everything to make it believe that there is a stupid, dull, and easily manipulated little wizard in Hogwarts. I have to fill in too many details, Lu Ke, you know, to make a character real." Believable, the most important thing is the part he won’t show, the iceberg theory.”

Lu Ke could only nod helplessly: "We are very pressed for time."

Johanna smiled and shook her head: "If you are willing to take risks, I can start taking action now."

Lu Ke shook his head quickly: "Okay, everything will be as you wish."

Lu Ke thought about it carefully and felt that he was not so anxious now. After all, since the notebook was here, everything was safe.

There will be no successors of Slytherin, no pure-blood wizards hunting down Muggle-born wizards, and no horrifying Hogwarts students being petrified.

Lu Ke has nothing to worry about, he just needs to continue doing what he should do.

So Lu Ke thought this way and sneaked to the Room of Requirement at night.

He hid the Sorcerer's Stone and the Sorting Hat in that absolutely safe little room.

Lu Ke stood in front of the only table in the room and looked down at the magic stone on the table.

This is a dark red stone, and when it reflects under the light, it looks like there is transparent blood inside.

Lu Ke sighed and picked up the sorting hat.

His mind was filled with memories of being stabbed through the heart by Gryffindor.

Lu Ke definitely didn't want to experience that feeling again, but there was an extremely powerful opponent in front of him.

Grindelwald's remnants.

Their fighting style, unity and discipline were far superior to those of the Death Eaters, and Lu Ke even felt that he had no chance of winning.

He must become stronger.

Coincidentally, for Lu Ke, a squib, perhaps fighting Gryffindor is the fastest and most direct way for him to become stronger.

Lu Ke finally put on the sorting hat.

Then the voice of the hat rang in his ears: "Are you ready to go to hell?"

Lu Ke nodded helplessly: "I'm ready."

Then the world before his eyes began to distort.

When the world calmed down, Lu Ke stood in the center of the Colosseum.

Gryffindor sat on the side with his wand in his hand and his sword stuck in the ground beside him.

He looked very laid back.

"I'm really surprised that you came back after less than a month of hesitation."

Lu Ke sighed and threw aside the robe he was wearing.

"How long did you think it would be before I came back?"

Gryffindor stood up and stretched in the breeze.

"I thought you would never come back."

Then Gryffindor rushed towards Lu Ke.

Lu Ke stood there and took a deep breath.

Then the two collided.

Lu Ke flew backwards as if he had been hit by a train.

But he was not injured.

At the moment of the collision, Lu Ke did not fight with all his strength, but used gentle force to push himself out with the help of Gryffindor's charge.

Despite this, Lu Ke was surprised by Gryffindor's power and the armor spell on him.

He didn't even see when Gryffindor cast the spell. It was obvious that Lu Ke had been staring at his wand without being distracted.

The moment it landed on the ground, the long sword in Gryffindor's right hand slashed down on Lu Ke's head.

Lu Ke hid to the side.

Gryffindor raised the wand in his left hand and pointed it at Lu Ke, and a flash of magic lighted up.

Lu Ke took half a step back, and then punched with his left hand.

Because the position he had just dodged was to his left, and only in this way could he avoid the range covered by Dumbledore's sword.

So now Lu Ke must punch with his left hand, which is the most convenient posture to attack Dumbledore.

His upper body rotated to the right, and his fist went straight to Dumbledore's side.

Then Dumbledore took half a step back.

Gryffindor's sword slashed down.

Lu Ke let out a painful roar.

Then a spell flashed.

Lu Ke sank into eternal darkness.

I don't know how long it took before Lu Ke woke up from the darkness.

He raised his left hand and held it in front of himself.

Lu Ke let out a long breath. Fortunately, his left hand was still there.

Then Lu Ke stood up and saw a pool of blood on the Colosseum.

Gryffindor was sitting next to the blood, waving his wand in boredom.

"You are too fragile, my successor. You don't look like a tested warrior at all, but more like a pampered and reckless man."

Lu Ke sighed.
