Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs

Chapter 62: Spreading the Message

The two house elves quarreled over this issue until they started fighting, while the other house elves around them turned a deaf ear and showed no reaction.

Umbridge looked at the chaos and felt as if she was standing on the shore looking into the water. Although she could see it, she couldn't touch anything.

Eventually, Umbridge decided to just do something effective.

She raised her wand and pointed it at the center of the room where the house elves gathered the most: next to the stove.

"Split into pieces!"

It was a very appropriate curse, at least in Umbridge's opinion.

As for whether this spell would cause explosions, fires, or harm to the house elves busy nearby, Umbridge didn't care at all.

But she was surprised to see that her spell dissipated in mid-air.

It was a house elf who looked very old. He stood in front of the stove, behind the busy house elves, and waved his hand casually, completely dispelling Umbridge's spell.

Umbridge was completely furious, and she roared at the busy kitchen: "Face me, brood!"

But the house elves still didn't respond.

Finally, in utter despair, Umbridge quietly left the kitchen.

Umbridge, who walked out of the kitchen, didn't know that in the kitchen behind him, the busy house elves saw her leaving. They put down what they were doing and rushed to the carrot together.

"Why don't we teach her a lesson?"

"Lu Ke even said she is a bad person!"

Carrot shook his head helplessly: "Lu Ke won't allow us to do that. Besides, she is the principal of Hogwarts."

A cry of terror broke out among the house elves: "Bad Headmaster!"

"Our master is Hogwarts!"

"Not the principal!"

Carrot nodded: "But we have to listen to Lu Ke!"

The house elves fell silent together.

Then they went back to work in twos and threes.

After walking out of the dark corridor on the first floor, Umbridge climbed the stairs with a gloomy face and walked towards her office.

She couldn't figure out why she would encounter such a thing in the kitchen.

Obviously only someone like her who hates magical races other than wizards would notice that there are so many house elves in Hogwarts.

Moreover, the words from the house elf's mouth also made Umbridge very concerned.

"Lu Ke..."

This is a haunting man who is even more Voldemort than Voldemort. Why is he everywhere, even in the kitchen?

Why, is he someone who eats secretly in the kitchen every day?

He has the face of a decent person, but is often expressionless and hard to tell!

Umbridge thought so in her mind and looked around carelessly. She felt that she needed a little vent and a little compensation.

If a student is seen violating school rules, he will be expelled. It was decided happily.

But Umbridge returned to her office and did not see any students violating school rules.

Because now everyone in Hogwarts is avoiding her.

Umbridge didn't care.

She is now the Acting Headmaster, Senior Under-Minister of Magic, and can walk sideways in Hogwarts.

But when she entered the office, what surprised Umbridge was that Fudge was using a magic spell to find her.

Umbridge walked up to a portrait of Fudge, raised her wand and clicked it.

Fudge in the portrait immediately said anxiously: "Go to Dumbledore, I need help!"

Umbridge nodded helplessly.

She knew this trouble would come, but when it did come, she still felt very unhappy.

But according to the Dark Lord's arrangement, she must obey.

"I will, what to do?"

Fudge was stunned for a moment.

Umbridge struggled to maintain a fake smile and continued to look at Fudge in the portrait, but the Minister of Magic fell silent.

"Well……"

Fudge finally let out a long sigh: "Tell him that if he is willing to admit his mistakes, I will withdraw all punishments from Hogwarts."

Umbridge nodded.

She didn't think there was anything strange about Fudge's words, nor did she think there was anything wrong with it.

But after the conversation's spell ended, Umbridge smiled.

She should go to Dumbledore now: if Umbridge was loyal to Fudge.

But Umbridge's current allegiance is actually to Voldemort.

So she went to the mirror and started looking for Voldemort.

Soon, the Umbridge in the mirror turned into Voldemort.

He looked at Umbridge with a smile on his face: "Fudge is looking for you?"

Umbridge smiled obsequiously and nodded: "He asked me to find Dumbledore."

A gloomy look flashed across Voldemort's face.

Even if it didn't work to find Dumbledore, these words were enough to put Voldemort in a bad mood.

Dumbledore was definitely the person who had caused him the most trouble, even above Lu Ke.

"What did he ask you to tell Dumbledore?"

Umbridge repeated Fudge's words exactly.

A smile appeared on Voldemort's face.

Although there was still some surprise in his eyes.

"In this case……"

It should be said that Fudge's stupidity simply made Voldemort overjoyed.

He never expected that at this level, Fudge would still speak to Dumbledore in this tone just for the sake of face.

Of course, you can see that Fudge just asked Umbridge to pass the message, and he had no determination to burn the boat.

This is probably what is called mediocrity.

Voldemort nodded: "Do as he says."

Umbridge nodded somewhat surprised.

Voldemort glanced at her, then shook his head: "Don't make your own decisions, Umbridge."

Umbridge was startled, she trembled, and then nodded with a smile: "Of course, my master..."

Then Umbridge's own frightened face appeared in the mirror.

She turned around, smiled, and walked out of the office.

Umbridge went directly to the door of the principal's office on the second floor.

She looked at the monster statue with a smile on her face, and then raised her wand.

The stone statue gave Umbridge a cold look, then slowly floated to the side.

Walking up the stairs, Umbridge saw Dumbledore sitting behind the desk.

"Welcome, what's the matter?"

Dumbledore looked completely unsurprised.

Umbridge nodded: "I just got news from Minister Fudge..."

Dumbledore nodded: "He has something to say to me?"

Umbridge nodded: "The minister asked me to tell..."

Dumbledore shook his head: "If he really has something to say, he can come to me directly."

Umbridge was stunned for a moment.

Dumbledore looked at her and smiled.
