Hogwarts Diary: Snape Goes Crazy

Chapter 468: Hermione's Unhappiness

Hermione's performance obviously surprised Slughorn. He looked at Hermione and finally couldn't help asking: "What's your name?"

"Hermione Granger."

"Very good, twenty points, Miss Granger!"

Watching Slughorn leave with satisfaction, Hermione showed a confused expression.

"He's not going to invite me to his slug club, is he?"

Vesey nodded.

"It's normal. I think no matter which professor you are, they will take it seriously when they see you are so knowledgeable.

Vesey praised, and Hermione smiled sheepishly.

Next, Slughorn introduced the function of the lucky potion, and said that the person who brews it best and fastest will receive this small bottle of lucky potion.

He probably did it for motivation, but in this class, this kind of motivation is not very effective, because almost everyone knows that the one who cooks the best and fastest is definitely Vesey.

There was no one else at all.

Obviously, this incentive failed.

Although the students' eyes were still eager, they were obviously not full of hope, which frustrated Slughorn's hopes.

So he told everyone that if he got second place, he would get a blessing elixir.

However, it is not allowed to be used in competitions or exams. This is considered cheating, and if found, points will be deducted and you may be expelled.

29 This made everyone so happy that even Harry and Ronald cheered up.

However, the book Half-Blood Prince obviously affected Harry's performance.

Because the Half-Blood Prince wrote a lot on it and scribbled on it, Harry could only squint his eyes to find the description in the book.

He looked furious.

Vesey knew that his current annoyance would soon turn into a real one.

Sure enough, just when Vesey was halfway through brewing the potion, Harry's methods had become a little advanced, as if he had used his brain.

Harry also wanted to remind her, but when he discovered that Vesey had already brewed half of the potion, he realized that the Half-Blood Prince could not match Vesey's speed.

Vesey was of course the first to finish.

Slughorn was a little surprised when he saw her raising her hand, thinking that she might have a problem, but who knew that the potion was brewed successfully.

And the result was great, exactly the same as the final result described in the book.

Slughorn scooped some with a spoon, brought it to his nose and smelled it, and finally took out his small bottle of Felixir from his pocket.

"My child, this must be yours. There is no way I can find someone who can brew a successful potion faster, earlier, and better than you."

Vesey took the elixir and put it into his pocket, intending to give it as a gift to his wives. If it wasn't enough, there were several large jars there.

This thing is not a treasure at all to her.

Seeing Hermione brewing the potion excitedly, Vesey shook his head helplessly.

Poor Hermione, she was only able to get third place until Harry hid the Half-Blood Prince book.

Sure enough, by the time get out of class was over, Harry's potion had truly succeeded.

When Slughorn came to Harry, he showed a surprised expression.

"I think the second place has already been announced. Brother and sister Potter are indeed one of the best students in the entire grade. They both performed perfectly."

Slughorn got Harry a small spoonful of Felixir from the pot and put it into the bottle.

"It's a small amount, so it can last for an hour or two! Use it well!"

Slughorn winked at Harry.

Then he looked at Hermione's potion.

The color of Hermione's potion was slightly different from the one in the book, which made Hermione very decadent.

It's hard to believe that she lost to Harry.

But Slughorn still praised her.

But Hermione was still a little unhappy.

Of course, Hermione's unhappiness was nothing compared to some of the Slytherin students, who almost hated Harry.

We have been together for a total of five years, and this is the sixth year. They don’t know what level Harry Potter is?

Seeing Harry suddenly become a genius, he was indescribably annoyed.

They suspected that Vesey was secretly pointing out Harry because she was sitting a little close to him.

But they had no evidence, so they could only leave the classroom in frustration.

It just made Harry even more annoyed.

If they had a sister like Vesey, they might have become geniuses long ago.

After dinner in the evening, Harry confessed to everyone in the library about the book that belonged to the Half-Blood Prince.

Hermione immediately looked like Harry was cheating.

But Ronald defended his good brother.

"This can only be said to be his good luck. Think about it! Just a little bit away, that book is mine!"

But Hermione was still unhappy. She said that it was probably the same dangerous item as Tom Riddle's diary that Ginny encountered.

She also asked Vesey to use several spells on the book, and Vesey used them obediently.

"I can guarantee this book is safe..."

She didn't finish her sentence, hiding the last sentence. This book belongs to Snape, Harry's second biggest enemy at the moment.

The first is Voldemort, the second is Snape, and the third is Malfoy.

Very reasonable.

"I have seen this book before, and the professor also used it."

Vesey prompted.

But they didn't think much about it, and Harry showed a proud expression.

"Look! Vesey said it's okay!"

Vesey did say it was okay, which left Hermione speechless. She could only watch helplessly as Harry used this book and quickly became the second greatest genius in his grade in Slughorn's eyes.

Harry did not hesitate to lend this book to Ronald and Hermione.

But Ronald is not as familiar as Harry in identifying the font of the Half-Blood Prince. He makes mistakes almost every time he cooks it, so he might as well cook it himself!

As for Hermione, she thought Harry was cheating. She wanted to defeat the Half-Blood Prince on her own, but the potion she brewed according to the book was always not as effective as the potion made by the Half-Blood Prince and Vesey.

This made her feel worse and worse.

She didn't even allow Harry and Ronald to copy her homework. Once she found any sign that they wanted to copy her homework, she would threaten them to report it, which made Harry and Ronald complain.

Saturday came in a blink of an eye.

They worked on their homework until seven-fifty.

Harry looked at the time and quickly stood up.

"Vesey, stop reading, we have to go to Dumbledore's place!"

Vesey nodded.

She turned off the movie in her mind and walked to Dumbledore's office with Harry.

On the way they met Trelawney, who smelled of alcohol.

Vesey and Harry immediately hid.

Because everyone thinks that Ferenzi teaches better, now Trelawney is like Hagrid, and almost no one in the senior class chooses their class.

They are not in a good mood now.

Fortunately for Hagrid, Vesey chose his class after all, and he is still very good to Vesey.

But not Trelawney.

The only thing Vesey didn't choose was her class. Vesey had heard Professor McGonagall use this to hurt Trelawney several times.

Vesey believed that if she appeared in front of Trelawney now, Trelawney would probably get angry with her, so it would be best not to provoke her.

And Harry simply didn't want to see Trelawney. After knowing that the prophecy that destroyed his family was made by Trelawney, he didn't want to see Trelawney even more.

Even though he knew that it was not Trelawney's fault, Trelawney was in that state and she didn't know what happened, but he still couldn't bear it.

He has been thinking, if it were not for Trelawney's prophecy, would he and Vesey be as happy as the children of other families?

Like Ronald, they can also have a bunch of brothers and sisters, and the love of their parents.

All is gone now. .
