Hogwarts vampire professor

Chapter 14: Lest the world be in chaos

"That's almost enough, Professor Dracula." Dumbledore declined Dracula's invitation to rub the dog's head together and reluctantly changed the subject, "Don't you still want to set up a protection level for the Sorcerer's Stone?"

"That's right." Dracula nodded, seeming to have found other fun.

"Whenever you are free, you must give Lu Wei a bath. It is too dirty now, which affects the touch." After saying that, he patted the three-headed dog's big head again and said to it, "Lu Wei, give you a bath." His fat belly moved to the side, blocking the door."

When Dracula entered this room, he found Lu Wei standing on a trap door. It was obviously guarding something.

Lu Wei moved obediently and squeezed into a corner of the room, making way for Dracula and Dumbledore to lead to the trap door.

Dumbledore waved, and the ring on the trap door was immediately pulled up by an invisible force and opened suddenly.

It was dark and deep under the doorway. But with the vampire's excellent night vision, he could clearly see the situation below.

"Tsk, we specially laid a devil's net. Professor Sprout is afraid that someone who comes to steal the magic stone will break it." Dracula glanced at Dumbledore and teased, "Also, I haven't learned the slowing spell. There shouldn’t be many wizards there. Maybe this is a level specially prepared for lower grade wizards?”

Dumbledore smiled and said nothing, and landed lightly on the ground under the trap door.

Dracula fell back into the cave entrance gracefully, and after a moment he fell down and lay on a soft devil's net.

"In order to protect the infiltrators, the preparations are really thorough." He sighed while lying on the devil's net that he did not dare to move because of the strong dark atmosphere.

Dracula stood up, and together with Dumbledore, walked along the stone corridor in front of the Devil's Net to the end, where they could see a brightly lit room.

Above the room is a high vaulted ceiling. Countless little birds, as dazzling as gems, fluttered around the room. There is a heavy wooden door on the opposite side of the room.

"Set up a wooden door, but left the keys, and even a few broomsticks thoughtfully." Dracula looked at the magic birds in the sky and the brooms in the corner, and chuckled, "Keep them in check to prevent intrusion. The protection is made into a level-breaking game, but you really have it."

After listening to Dracula's weird words all the way, Dumbledore finally couldn't hold back his calm facial expression and laughed helplessly.

"Professor Dracula, I knew it was impossible to hide this from you." He said, "Actually, you may have guessed that I didn't even intend to use these obstacles to keep the real infiltrators out. These are all It’s just a level to test and train students.”

"Who to test? Who to train?" Dracula chuckled, "If I guess correctly, you are for the Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter, right?"

"As expected, I still can't escape your eyes, Professor Dracula." Dumbledore sighed softly, "I do want to train Harry. He is an indispensable part of the process of completely defeating Voldemort."

"So I must ask you not to set the difficulty of the next levels too high. I don't want Harry to lose confidence because of the levels assigned by his professor before he has faced Voldemort."

Dracula nodded indifferently. He originally wanted to know more about the secrets of this savior.

How could a child who was only one year old at the time defeat the most powerful dark wizard in the world? Dracula was very curious about this.

The two waved casually, unlocking the thick wooden door, and then passed a large puzzle board before arriving at a room that still had a vague smell of rancidity.

"There used to be a giant monster here, and Quirrell just transported it away yesterday." Dumbledore explained, "So the smell is still not very good now. Then please trouble Professor Dracula to set up a level here!"

Dracula looked at the empty room.

"Before setting up the levels, I have a question. What level of difficulty would allow a young wizard like Harry Potter to pass smoothly?" he asked mercilessly, "After these few lessons, I am really familiar with it. The spellcasting level of Hogwarts cannot be complimented. The spellcasting ability of first-year students is probably infinitely close to zero, right?"

Dumbledore concealed his inner embarrassment with a smile and changed his words to Dracula: "I believe that under the leadership of Professor Dracula, the little wizards will make rapid progress."

Dracula shook his head, completely uninterested in arranging a level-breaking game for children to enjoy.

"Forget it, let Quirrell give the troll a bath and then stuff it back in." He said lazily.

After that, Dracula walked straight to the next door.

Dumbledore shrugged and followed Dracula's lead.

The next room has only a table with seven bottles of various shapes arranged on it.

As soon as the two of them crossed the threshold, a flame rose up behind them and sealed the doorway.

This flame was unusual in that it was purple. At the same time, black flames burst out from the door leading to the front. Trapped the two of them in the middle.

"If you turn Snape's potion test into a simple logic problem, is it true that he didn't fight for you?" Dracula looked at the roll of parchment placed next to the bottle, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.

The puzzle on the parchment was not a question about potions, but a logical question written on it. This simply put the correct choice of potions directly into the hands of the infiltrator.

Neither Dracula nor Dumbledore were very afraid of this kind of moderately warm flame, so they forced themselves through the black flames and reached the last level.

The final level has nothing but a very imposing mirror.

The Philosopher's Stone was hidden in this mirror by Dumbledore.

The top of the ancient mirror is engraved with the following inscription: "Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi", which must be read backwards to reveal its true meaning. After flipping the order of the letters and resegmenting the words, you can get a sentence: What I show is not your face, but your desire.

Looking at this mirror, Dracula paused for a moment, and a look of interest gradually appeared on his face.

"The Mirror of Erised reflects people's strongest desires - usually to achieve a certain goal or ambition. But just as each person is unique, the Mirror reflects differently in everyone's eyes." Dumbledore explained with a smile.

"So can you tell me what you saw, Professor Dracula?"

Dracula was silent for a moment, then chuckled.

"I see endless fun, flying towards me." Dracula's eyes moved slightly and he said softly.

Dracula wasn't telling the truth.

The image he just saw in the Mirror of Erised was not him, or even a concrete thing.

What he saw was a war and chaos engulfing the entire magical world.

Is this what he wants? Find fun in chaos, stir up trouble in disputes...

I am afraid that the world will not be in chaos!
