Both of Ji Ran’s parents died when he was in junior high school and he had to support himself from then on. So when it came to running a house, he had quite a lot of experience. And that was why, although he went back in time to this unknown, poverty-stricken village, all he thought about was how to survive. He never felt sorry for himself, nor did he ever think about committing suicide so that he could return to modern times.
