The light was so faint that no one else noticed it.

“Ugh…!”

She felt pain from the side that was wearing the bracelet that was gifted by Zenon.

At first, she thought that Zenon’s magic was responding.

But that wasn’t the case. This situation was becoming somewhat strange.

Heloise hurriedly retracted her hand and hid her wrist, fearing that Lou had caught on to the pain she was feeling from her wrist.

At the same time, Elena, who had been unconscious with closed eyes, frowned and her eyelashes started to tremble slightly.

“Elena!”

Lou grabbed Elena’s hand and yelled urgently.

As if she was responding to her brother’s voice, a groan flowed out from Elena’s mouth.

“Hm…… Brother……”

“Elena, are you awake? Hmm? Do you know who I am?”

“Brother Lou…”

When Elena opened her eyes, green eyes that were the same as Lou’s were revealed.

Heloise backed away from the brother and sister duo and took deep breaths while in a cold sweat.

Both of her eyes were wide open with confusion.

Elena opened her stiff jaw with difficulty and asked with an awkward pronunciation.

“Brother, how long has it been? How long did I sleep for this time…?”

“You didn’t sleep long. It’s the truth.”

“You’re lying… I slept for over a month, didn’t I?”

“No, you didn’t.”

Unable to suppress his sadness, Lou looked like he was about to cry.

It has been six months.

She was unable to guess how Lou must have felt when he looked at his sister, who had been sleeping for six months.

But apart from that, Heloise wanted to leave this place immediately.

Her wrist hurt like it was burning and bleeding.

While she wanted to take a look, she shouldn’t do that here.

As she retreated backwards stealthily and was about to leave her seat, Lou, who was wiping away his tears, spotted Heloise.

“You, private tutor!”

“Yes?”

“Did you do it? Did you wake up our Elena?”

“Ah, ah, that’s…”

Heloise was hesitant and was at a loss, suddenly noticed a sacred treasure on the wall.

It seems that Lou had brought it when Elena’s condition didn’t improve.

Heloise fixed her gaze on that and opened her mouth.

“Due to…God……”

“What?”

“Perhaps God… is taking care of you…? I’m not even a healing mage… What kind of power do I have that can wake her up?”

The way Heloise broke out in cold sweat and squeezed out words with difficulty while hiding her left arm was extremely suspicious, but Lou wasn’t in the capacity to make judgements normally.

“God?”

His bewildered gaze turned to the sacred treasure that Heloise was looking at.

His mouth opened slightly in disbelief.

“Is that… the case?”

While Lou’s gaze was on the sacred treasure and Elena was trembling, Heloise quickly left that house. She then walked around the underworld in a daze.

‘I have to meet Medicis. I was supposed to meet…’

Heloise raised her trembling hand and checked her left wrist.

“What…is this?”

As if she was branded, there was a distinct red pattern underneath the bracelet that Zenon had given her.

The inscription on the inside of her thin wrist was like a shackle.

“Why is something like this…?”

Lou Tulear’s sister had most probably died in <Princess Sienna>.

Her death was probably because she wasn’t able to detoxify the poison.

However, Elena had woken up because of the trouble Heloise had stirred up, and she would recover soon and return back to her normal daily life.

‘Did the system punish me for changing the story?’

She had originally intended to meet Medicis, but now she didn’t have the confidence to do so.

No matter what Heloise asked her, if the future changes, the system might give her another warning again.

Rather, her actions of trying to change the future by using Medicis might be seen as an error, and an even bigger twist might occur.

Heloise became increasingly afraid of changing the original story.

‘Is what I’m doing right?’

But she couldn’t let Zenon die now.

Heloise walked towards the market with a complicated mind.

Contrasting with her thoughts, the market was as noisy as ever.

The coachman Peter, who was waiting for her at the market, spoke affectionately, “You’re here,” but Heloise couldn’t respond with a single word.

All she wanted to do was return home as soon as possible and rest.

Time passed even while Heloise was absent-minded for a while, and summer ended.

It was the beginning of the <Harvest Festival>.

When the <Harvest Festival> started, her parents became busy again.

Heloise sat in the living room and watched her bustling mother, but her mother seemed to find it unfortunate and called out to her before leaving.

“Heloise, it’s the harvest festival today, aren’t you going out to take a look? Don’t you have any plans to meet your friends?”

“No I don’t.”

“You stay at home too much.”

“I’m being well-behaved.”

Her mother, who liked parties and exciting things, looked unhappy.

“Don’t be like that and be sure to go out today. If not, shall I call for Emma? Do you want to go out with her?”

“No. You know that I don’t like going out with a maid, as they’ll nag about how I can’t do this or that.”

“Then I’ll speak with the coachman, so you must go out. Hm?”

Since her mother had said that, she had no choice but to go out.

Heloise sighed and nodded.

At that, her mother looked more relieved and disappeared.

Heloise has always thought that there was a high chance Medicis would show up today, on the day of the <Harvest Festival>.

Today was Heloise’s chance to meet her.

While she didn’t know if her evil stat went up or not, she had helped Lou, so it was highly likely that it increased, so it’s worth making a trip to the underworld at least once.

‘Even if I went, she might not be there.’

‘Will my body be able to handle the penalties from continuing to twist the game?’

Heloise thought, ‘It wouldn’t be too late to agonise over that in front of the tent of the astrologer.’

She had even twisted Lou’s development in order to raise her evil stat, so she didn’t want to give up on Medicis.

‘Right, let’s head to the vicinity for now. I’ll think about the rest then.’

After much consideration, she turned her head.

The problem lay in timing.

Heloise knew that the astrologer definitely wouldn’t appear at such an early time.

Astrologers were the type that would usually appear late in the afternoon and wander around until dawn before disappearing. That was also the case in the game.

“I need to kill time with something.”

As Heloise was muttering to herself, the coachman Peter, who was grooming the horse’s mane, spoke to her.

“Isn’t today the harvest festival? What’s there to worry about when there’s a contest for the goddess of harvest and a martial arts tournament?”

“A martial arts tournament?”

Come to think of it, Lou said that he’d be participating in the martial arts tournament.

‘Shall we go and take a look?’

Heloise ordered Peter to go to the location where the <Martial Arts Tournament> was being held.

The tournament venue was in the form of a large dome with its lid cut off, and the audience surrounded the challengers.

The magic divison’s matches were held before the swordsmanship division’s matches, and the finals of the magic division’s matches were being held.

Heloise bought an empty box seat ticket and entered.

For some reason, the crowd was leaving in droves.

While observing the atmosphere in order to find out the reason, Heloise spotted the challenger, and seemed to understand why there were only a few spectators.

The finalists were a young lord she was seeing for the first time and Sienna Salles.

Heloise’s eyes widened.

“Sienna!”

Heloise called loudly, but her voice didn’t seem to travel very far as Sienna didn’t look back.

Her expression was very determined, as if she was willing to risk her life to win the championship.

A green light poured out from the end of Sienna’s tournament staff.

She shouted something and when the ground split open, a thick plant stem appeared and squeezed the opposing Young Lord’s body.

The sharp edge of the plant that was restraining the Young Lord moved towards his face.

It was like an intelligent creature without eyes, and its mouth opened, revealing a red mouth lined with dozens of teeth and saliva.

“Uwah! That’s gross!”

With a loud yell, the young lord threw the staff that he was holding and surrendered.

Even Heloise found it disgusting.

While it didn’t feel odd for her to control grass as she was a fairy, why was she using it in such a manner…

The referee picked up the staff that the young lord threw, turned back to check the judges once before raising his voice.

“Sienna Salles wins! Hereby, the winner of the magic division! Sienna Salles!”

The cheers weren’t that loud. This might be because the audience hoped for the victory of the opposing young lord, rather than the victory of Sienna, a fallen aristocrat.

However, Sienna didn’t feel discouraged and retracted the plants into the ground, before heading to the waiting room courageously.

Heloise leaned against the box seat’s railing and cupped her hands into the shape of a megaphone in Sienna’s direction and shouted with all her might.

“Sienna! Sienna!”

“Huh…? Heloise?”

“Congratulations!”

Heloise waved both of her arms from side to side, and Sienna’s face turned red while joy filled her eyes.

She stood there for a while and waved timidly, and entered the waiting room after Soma came over and handed her a towel and water.

After the finals, ancillary mages came out to handle the repairs of the destroyed ground and objects.

“The swordsmanship division will begin in a while!”

The preliminary round was held a few days ago, and only the finalists will be attending today.

Amongst the people that walked out of the waiting room, Isaac’s face was spotted.

‘Ah, come to think of it, Isaac is also participating in the martial arts tournament to receive an appointment…….’

During the annual <Harvest Festival>, the winner of the <Martial Arts Tournament>’s swordsmanship division will not only be awarded with prize money, they would also obtain the honour of being a knight that was personally appointed by the King.

Therefore, it was a place where anyone talented, regardless of their commoner or aristocratic status, risked their lives to become a challenger.

“My older cousins made fun of me, so I’ll have to show them by passing the preliminary round.”

However, she didn’t spot Lou, who should be amongst the participants.

“Is he in the waiting room?”

While Heloise was leaning against the railing and waiting for the game to start, she saw a large pattern carved across the ears and neck of a bald man that was a distance away from the spectator stands
