To be honest, I am too old to write a testimonial for the release, so just say what is on my mind. Anyway, I will say whatever comes to my mind today.

My book is officially released on January 29, which is the 19th day of the twelfth lunar month.

You may be wondering, since it’s already the end of the month, why not just issue it on the 1st?

I'm not afraid of everyone laughing when I say it. Of course, it's because the author is running out of money. If we don’t open a new book quickly and put it on the shelves early, we will really be in trouble.

If you know something about Qidian writers, you should know that generally speaking, the fastest time from publishing a book to receiving the first payment is two months and twelve days.

Because now new books are generally free for about half a month, but the payment of royalties has to wait until the 12th of next month.

For example, if you publish a book on January 1st and put it on the shelves on February 15th, you will not receive the first subscription fee for this book until March 12th at the earliest.

This means that during this period of more than seventy days, you basically have no income, except for rewards of course.

However, unless you give rewards to veteran authors, newcomers and new books will generally not have many new books. Anyway, my current reward income from rewards is only more than 200 yuan.

So I really can’t afford to delay it for a day, even if it’s only two or three days before February 1st.

I even thought about whether to wait until after the Chinese New Year before posting, so that I could spend the Chinese New Year at home in a down-to-earth manner, but my wallet really didn’t allow it!

To be honest, God knows how tiring it is to write a new book during the Chinese New Year. Moreover, I am handicapped and can basically only code two chapters a day, so I can’t save the manuscript at all.

So basically every day’s updates are written on the fly. After the reunion dinner at noon on New Year’s Eve, I was busy typing at the dinner table from afternoon to evening. I didn’t even watch the Spring Festival Gala with my parents for a second.

During the ten days of the first lunar month, I would visit relatives during the day, and then I would have to stay up late to write manuscripts when I came back at night. Therefore, I really didn’t drink a drop of alcohol during the first month of this year.

Sometimes I even use my mobile phone to code words when I am free during New Year greetings at other people’s homes!

What I remember most is that when I went to my grandpa’s house to pay New Year’s greetings, because the journey was quite far, more than 200 kilometers, I stayed there for one night.

Moreover, my grandpa’s house is in a ravine, and even the signal is quite unstable and intermittent.

Basically, only outside his house, the mobile phone has two signals. If you stay inside, the mobile phone has no signal at all.

In order to keep updating, I could only type words outside with my phone in the cold weather for two days, pressing against the wall for at least five or six hours.

My parents, uncle, and aunt were warming themselves comfortably by the fire inside the house. I don’t know how comfortable it was. I was the only one standing outside like an idiot, drinking in the cold wind. My hands were red and swollen from the cold.

It should be said that I am quite proud. Even during the Chinese New Year, basically from the first day I published the book, I have been updating twice a day steadily, and there has never been an intermittent update, or even a single update.

Why write about China Entertainment?

I’m not afraid to tell you the truth, it should be considered some kind of path dependence.

Fortunately, in order to write Traffic King, I checked a lot of information, so relatively speaking, China Entertainment is a category I am more familiar with!

And I also prefer to read Huayu novels, so this is my interest, and since I have made some achievements in the past, I will naturally continue to write about Huayu for the new book.

Anyway, I will keep writing about the genre of China Entertainment. When no one reads it, or I can no longer grasp the audience’s taste, I will consider changing the genre!
