"Alright Steve I'm Marcus."

"Thanks for earlier. Are you new here?"

"How did you know?"

"Most people living here go to the same school so I would've at least seen you before."

"Just moved in a few days ago. Hey I wanted to know if there was a boxing gym here, would you know any?"

"Yeah there's one just two blocks away. It's just opposite to the school."

I needed an excuse to get away any suspicions if I ever got into any scuffles ever which I knew I would most definitely get into. Also learning some fighting techniques and training my body is definitely going to help. I needed to build a good relationship with Steve since he might become Captain America in the future.

I had to gather as many allies as possible and combine their strengths to create the Avengers much faster with more members that is if everything goes smoothly otherwise I might have to take the role of a villian which I don't want to do since all the heroes will greatly hinder my path of getting strong and I don't trust any of the villians, although there will be benefits but it's easier for me if I take the hero way and let myself believe I'm on the right path.

After that I talked with Steve and I came to know that his father had died in the previous war which was probably one of the reasons he wanted to join the army later on. Bucky also popped up in the conversation and he was two years older than both of us. Steve seemed to look up to Bucky quite a lot since he had excellent grades and was an even better athlete. Steve did quite well in his studies too but in sports he would be an ant compared to Bucky's poweress. As Steve showed me around town we finally reached the boxing gym, it wasn't anything special but it was something I definitely needed. Since I didn't want to die as just some side character and become a motivation for some guy who's probably not even human. Is that racist? Anyway the boxing gym was called 'The Gym', I can see a lot of creativity went into that name.

I follow Steve into the gym and I am greeted with not a very pleasant smell as I see all sorts of people pumping their muscles and drenched with sweat filling the room with a rather weird smell.

"That's the smell of hard work and dedication kid." a sudden voice comes.

"This is what keeps me going when I start to tire." the voice had come from one of the men using dumbbells, a tall muscular man with curly hair. He keeps his dumbbells aside and approaches us, "What can I do for you kids?"

"I wanted to join and learn boxing."

"Amazing a young man who wants to learn how to fight. Ok if you want to join you need to talk to the instructor in that room and you also need to call your parents to get permission."

"Even I wanna join." said Steve.

"Sure kid it's alright as long as you pay." he didn't seem very enthusiastic about Steve joining.

"Alright we'll come back tommorow"
