Human In The Marvel World

I eventually got my handshake and she then told me to come back tomorrow. I went back home but couldn't really sleep with recent events. I wanted to write down what I had in my mind to get a better idea of how to move forward but I chose not to do that since my knowledge was my most powerful asset write now and in the wrong hands it could mean the end of all.

I fell asleep quite late and was late for school next morning. Steve did find it a bit strange but I just said I worked extra last night and slept quite late. I went to the gym as usual and even there I wanted to go home as fast as possible but since I didn't want to arouse suspicion I went home at usual time. I told mum I was going outside and I headed straight for next door.

The door seemed to be open, I went in after announcing I was coming in and in the lounge there was portal with a man standing by.

"Hello nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too Marcus, please come in the ancient one is waiting."

I walk in through the portal with the man and come into large hall where the ancient one is sitting down and having tea.

"Took you long enough, I was thinking you might not come."

"Well I have some stuff to do generally on weekdays."

"Very well I'm guessing our lessons won't be very long so let's skip the chit chat and let's get started."

She gave some books to me and said "These books can only be used at Kamar-Taj and you are forbidden from taking them outside. Cheng here will be your instructor and teach you the way of the mystic arts."

"Thank you very much"

After she left my instructor told me to learn the basics from the book first and when I do we'll move onto practical training.

Time slowly passed and I had learnt to make portals and separate my astral body from my physical one along with some telepathy and basic illusion I, this did increase my speed greatly but I had already been behind most students this just allowed me to be at the same pace as them and catch up too a certain extent although most my peers had already far surpassed me since they trained for all day everyday.

Now next step would be to use magic to enhance my learning speed in science although this would greatly hinder my learning of magic but it would make everything a lot easier.

If I learned science and impressed Howard I might be able to work for him and with a little bit of magic I'll be able to get closer to Tony faster plus with Howard getting into SHIELD would be a lot easier now. Now the issue was I couldn't control someone entirely yet I could just read minds and induce feelings or ideas into a person's head both very hard especially if I wanted to push someone to do something it would consume all my energy and I wouldn't be able to practice magic for the entire day plus it was very taxing on my physical body also so I had to do it at the correct the since I also wanted to get into the army, and try and save Doctor Erskine.
