I Am The Lion, I Am The Sunshine

me and Izuku were walking to the station. in the anime this around the middle of episode 6 or so, when they're leaving school from the test Aizawa made us do. you might be thinking why I'm such a big nerd, well, around the first week I appeared here (and I believe I already mentioned this before) is that I write notes to help me in the future, that was a drastic understatement as I wrote down every moment I could remember, I didn't get everything down as when you get to around season 3 you forget most of what happened in the first and parts of the second season, but I did my best and to my surprise it is all panning out how I write it down, lucky I did when I did, as this Grace does not give me any sort of memory boost like you see in transportation anime.

to Izuku's clear delight, Ochaco has accompanied us to the station, every time she comes around he looks like he just ate a ghost pepper, and it's quite amusing, to be honest. but I can't make fun of him for that as it already happened to me once, I got stomped on by one of the 0 Pointers as I got distracted by Momo pulling a Rambo on some pointers, I was sincerely building a crush on Momo as I was getting crushed.

(as Izuku, Ida and Ochaco all blabber about names, behind the lot, about 30 meters just coming out of the entrance was Jirō and Momo, despite it being the 1st day, these 2 had already had a friendship growing).

"so how about that test huh, that was brutal!!" Jirō says

"It wasn't as bad as the Entrance exam, I believe I was the only one to think that we had TOO much thrown our way, if it wasn't for that Mathew character, I don't know where we would have stood," Momo says as she ever so slightly begins to go pink

"wait... no way, do you like him?" Jirō says as moves closer to Momo's face to inspect it, while almost laughing.

"no, well I'm mostly sure, he is nice, and he does have a powerful Quirk, I like him as a fellow classmate, he is what this country should strive to have in students and heroes alike, no matter the Quirk," Momo says

"but can you just Imagine your babies Quirks, they would be like Demi-Gods!!" Jirō says as she begins to laugh and Momo gets angry

(back in U.A, in the Teachers lounge, All Might has been into deep thought as he holds an All Might themed shirt).

"There is no time to relax you 2, no matter how well you're adapting to the new ways of becoming a hero, the real test begins tomorrow, rest well youngsters" All Might thinks to himself as everything goes black

(the next morning, in the first period).

U.A's hero course does develop people into heroes, but it does not by any means leave out the things kids learn all there lives throughout school, English, maths, science, history, none is left out, they even have a Dog human hybrid thing as a guidance counsellor, but this one won't try and stop you using your Quirk in public.

"now, which of these 4 sentences contains a mistake," Present Mic says as he turns around, holding some type of small book

"no offence coming from me Mr.Mic, but this is hella boring," Mathew says as he looks over to Momo and Izuku who are looking like nerds playing video games

I admit, I'm a nerd, but in my past life I was a nerd for all the things that didn't count towards me having a normal job and life in the future, like Anime, for example, it was scary how much I knew about it, but it was useless information unless I was to move to Japan and got a job to do with Anime, which was never going to happen, and look where got, in Japan, in a god dawn Anime.

so the short version of what I said was, I'm crap at most classes, History and Geography I manage to get around due to the interests in learning I have in it, but not all this.

we then eat lunch in the cafeteria, didn't know we needed to buy stuff, that's what I get for watching all that American Tv where they just give you food, but it's all cheap, so its no real bother.

and to my surprise and knowledge, there is even a hero for cooking, he would rock the world in Iron Chef, but I don't know how he would fair against villains, EAT CHILLI POWER YOU SC.U.M!!!

of course, Ochaco was chill and just said the food's good, Ida somehow found a way to complain about it, and Deku geeked out about the hero who cooked it, I think its cook rush or something.

and then the afternoon, the good part where I tend to shine, Hero Basic Training.

"I...AM... HHHHHEEEEERRRRREEEEE, COMING THRU THE DOOR LIKE A HERO!!!!!" All Might says

oh shit, was this the part we got to fight each other!!

(everyone sees All Might come in and begin to get exited).

"yes, he is a teacher this, after all, this year is going to be totally AWESOME!!!!" Kirishima says

"hey look, is he wearing his Silver Age Costume!!" Asui says as she holds her finger under her mouth like she normally does

"I'm getting goosebumps, that's so retro!! Mashiro says

"WELCOME TO THE MOST IMPORTANT CLA.S.S AS U.A HIGH, THINK OF IT AS HEROING 101, WITH YOUR INSTRUCTOR, ALL MIGHT. HERE YOU WILL LEARN THE BASICS OF BEING A PRO, AND WHAT IT MEANS TO FIGHT FOR THE NAME OF GOOD AND JUSTICE, SOOOO LET'S GET INTO IT, TODAYS LESSON WILL PULL NO PUNCHES"

"FIGHT TRAINING!!!" Mathew and Bakugo say in excitement at the same time

"BUT BEING A HERO, YOU ALSO NEED STYLE AND LOOKIE HERE!!" All Might says as he points behind him to a wall shelf that is popping out to reveal numbered boxes and everything then begins to roar in excitement

"costumes!!" Izuku says as he hugs his bag

"GET YOURSELVES SUITED UP AND MEET ME AT TRAINING GROUND BETA!!!" All Might says as everyone literally leaps from there chairs, making them fly everywhere, then grabbing their costumes and running out to go get changed, only leaving Todoroki and Mathew in the room

"Hmm, it seems you 2 aren't up for it, is there something I forgot to mention?" All Might says

"There is only 1 box unopened but I think that's Todoroki's," Mathew says

"ah yes, indeed that is his, but I have yours with me young Mathew, it's only a prototype right now, it's taken a while for it to be made, but it is ready for use" All Might says as he waves for a guy to bring in a large box on a Box Trolly, leaving it then walking back out with it.

"a Christmas present from Dave Shield," All Might says

(Mathew goes over and opens the box, then unwraps the plastic wrap you typically see on clothes and reveals a white, spandex like-suit with a symbol of sun at noon on the c.h.e.s.t of it).

"This suit has taken months of preparation and crafting. you said yourself that if you try, you can store some power and keep it after dark, but it eventually fades after about 2 hours that would nearly be 8:00 in Japan, this will keep you at a reasonable power level for 6-8 hours, which should last you overnight. it is 1 size bigger then what you wear at night time but that's on purpose, as it can grow to 10 sizes bigger than its smallest size. take care of it, young man, your parents paid for this suit and it was not cheap, because they want to see their son thrive in the future as do I, now you and young Shoto might want to get out there, don't want to be late for your first real fight.

(Mathew has 1 tear run down his face as he stares at the suit).

"Right, thank you," Mathew says after a few moments as he heats up his face to get rid of the rest of the tears building up, he then runs out of the classroom to go get ready.

"*sigh* I best go get ready," Shoto says as he gets up and slowly walks out the classroom

"yes, but like all Students, he has a lot to learn!!" All Might says

A/N: really big chapter at 1,440 words, think it might be the biggest but I can't be bothered to check. I added a tad more humour than usual, hope everyone understands the writing as I inject a different perspective into Mathew's POV. but yeah, I'm getting a lot better so I can do bigger and better chapters for you lot, but yeah, I hope my writing is improving as im hopefully slowly doing, see you guys in tommorows chapter which will be a big one!!
