I become light in American comics

Chapter 13 A group is here to talk about cross talk?

As we all know, in the era before Batman appeared, Gotham was a literal chaos of demons. All kinds of underground activities and black trade are imaginable and impossible. Gangs of all sizes are spreading like viruses in the streets and alleys.

David Patrick was a self-made man in such a chaotic era. He made his first pot of gold by relying on marijuana when he was a student. Later, after he became successful, he still focused on campus business.

As their business grew bigger and bigger, they had more and more followers. They called themselves the "Cross Gang" and gradually became a force. The gangs in the neighborhood all had to sell him some thin noodles.

But if you want to expand your business in Gotham, no matter in that area, you will definitely not be able to just rely on being brave and ruthless. David didn't have great abilities, but he still had some cleverness.

Although it was not within the scope of his gang's activities, he had heard about the newly opened HISHE Cafe in Kingston. Although he didn't know the details, he guessed that the store owner might have some background. Otherwise, ordinary people will not be able to force local gangs to withdraw from the community.

This is why it should be just a trivial matter where the gang's lowest-level gangsters were fighting and causing trouble, but he actually made an exception and took action personally.

When the few troublemaking young people who were restrained saw that even the leaders of such organizations, which they had no contact with at ordinary times, appeared, they panicked in their hearts.

I began to realize more and more that things might be bigger.

"Hello, Mr. Shen." David greeted politely with a cigar in his mouth, but his eyes clearly shone like wild beasts in the primitive jungle.

Shen You ignored it and asked straight to the point: "Who is 'Crazy Elliot'?"

It was quiet for a while.

David stepped aside and made way for his younger brother behind him. Everyone turned their attention to a young man wearing a black wallet with a blue dragon tattooed on his body.

Obviously that was Elliot, but Madness couldn't tell, only that he looked pale and had a sore face.

He is the direct boss of those young people, but to put it nicely, he is actually just a low-level errand boy. The few newcomers under his command are inexperienced, but he is still somewhat experienced, especially knowing that there are some people in Gotham who cannot be offended.

This seemingly amiable young man in front of me is. On the surface, he looks like a frail scholar, but compared with the gangsters like them, he seems to be blown away by a gust of wind. But anyone who has heard rumors about former gangsters in nearby communities breaking their legs or crashing their cars knows that this person is definitely not that simple.

What kind of jerk is he, Elliot, who deserves his turn to speak up in a situation like this?

Elliot's legs were shaking a little and he stepped forward nervously. One of his good brothers also kindly gave him advice in his ear: "Remember, the lower the voice, the stronger the aura. Real bosses always speak in a low voice."

Elliot nodded, indicating that he remembered.

Then he walked up to Shen You and tried to make himself look a little more attractive. His lips seemed to move, but there was no sound.

Shen You raised his eyebrows: "Brother, did you leave your vocal cords at home?"

Eliot: "."

Realizing that David behind him was staring at him with an unkind expression, Elliot felt a thrill all over his body. He quickly realized that this might be a matter of life and death. If he didn't perform well today and was embarrassed, the boss might shoot him when he got back. He was really someone who could do such a thing.

So he tried to hold his head high and looked fierce.

"Sit down." Shen You said calmly.

"okay."

Elliot sat in the chair and looked up at Shen You obediently, like a well-trained pug.

After sitting down reflexively, he suddenly thought something was wrong, why should I listen to him?

He had never seen anyone like the young boss before.

He clearly looked gentle and polite, but there seemed to be something in his eyes that no one else had, making you dare not look at him. It seems that every move he makes and every word uttered from his mouth naturally has a certain kind of majesty, which makes people instinctively dare not disobey.

He tried to get up, but as soon as his legs moved, he seemed to feel some unparalleled powerful pressure, making him sit back down.

Really lacking the courage to stand up, Elliot could only lower his head and whisper: "I just suddenly want to sit down."

Shen You smiled and said nothing.

Not to mention the huge gap in the level of life, if his mental power can't shake even a drug-addicted scumbag, then his more than a thousand years of telekinesis training will be in vain.

The young people making trouble next to them were so frightened that they were stunned.

Damn it, is this still their murderous boss?

That crazy Elliot who strikes out at the slightest disagreement and claims to have slashed from Crime Alley to Arkham with a knife?

Why are you as cowardly as a dog?

"Tell me about your little brother." Shen You cut to the chase and waved to the gangster next to him who was harassing the girl before. "You, come here."

The gangster had a dark face, but he didn't dare to disobey at all. He lowered his head and walked forward.

"He said he was your younger brother, right?" Shen You asked.

Elliot glared at the gangster and admitted bravely: "Yes."

"He harassed other customers in my store and even wanted to hit someone. What does Mr. Elliot think?"

Elliot glanced at David behind him and found that the boss's expression was getting more and more fierce, and he couldn't help but become more and more nervous. I know that if I don't perform well, I will be ruined when I go back, so I am always evil and timid.

He raised his head suddenly and held his chest high: "We, the Cross Gang, have been around for many years. We have never been afraid of anything, and we have never bowed our heads to anyone. As our boss often said, business is also a battlefield. We who do business are very particular. It’s so fair!”

He said and pointed at the gangster next to him.

"So which arm of this kid moved first? I'll chop off his arm on the spot to make amends. What do you think, Mr. Shen?"

Shen You: "?"

Gangster: "?"

Not to mention a gangster, even Shen You was a bit confused by his unconventional negotiation methods.

The gangster turned pale and was about to cry.

He said with a cry: "Brother, don't you usually say that the most important thing for a gangster is to be ruthless and powerful?"

Unexpectedly, Elliot slapped him across the face.

"It's a labor day, can you please stop saying a few words!?"

The gangster didn't care about the slap, but his face turned even pale after hearing his words.

After hesitating for a while, he said timidly: "My mother? Well, boss, this matter is indeed a bit sudden. I may have to go back and discuss this with my father."

Eliot: "."

Shen You didn't hold back for a moment and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Good guys, you brought this group to my store to talk cross talk, right?
