: Big counterattack!

Guerrilla warfare, as the name suggests, means roaming attacks.

Its main tactic is to harass enemy troops.

Guerrilla warfare is not about running away or fighting for your life.

The elite of guerrilla warfare have a sixteen-character secret: “When the enemy advances, we retreat; when the enemy is stationed, we harass; when the enemy is tired, we attack; when the enemy retreats, we pursue.”

What is important is to rationally choose a combat environment and location that is more suitable for one’s own troops, quickly deploy troops, rationally allocate troops, reasonably choose the opportunity to fight, and quickly retreat after the battle without giving the enemy a chance to pursue.

At the same time, guerrilla warfare requires the army to have a high degree of organization, initiative, and flexibility, use strengths and avoid weaknesses, and skillfully coordinate “guerrilla” and “attack” to maximize the power of guerrilla warfare!

But in the final analysis, guerrilla warfare also requires contact with the enemy. Even if it is to fight with more and less, and to fight with “307” prepared and unprepared, in the end it is a close-quarters battle.

Bao Jiaxiang, the commander-in-chief of the Wa State Army, was born in guerrilla fighting.

In his early years, Bao Jiaxiang was just an ordinary boy in a village of the Wa ethnic group. In that war-torn era, he had no choice but to farm his land safely. He was often beaten and bullied by soldiers of the Guo Army and other warlords.

Later, Bao Jiaxiang organized a resistance organization with several clan uncles and fellow villagers, and began to fight guerrillas in the local area, and gradually stood out and became the commander of this guerrilla force.

Later, Bao Jiaxiang led the guerrillas to join the Burmese United Army. Starting from a small company commander, he fought with the Burmese Independence Army for more than 20 years. By the time the Burmese United Army collapsed, Bao Jiaxiang was already a leader. The deputy commander and chief of staff of the military region has three infantry battalions and thousands of people under his command.

Also based on these three infantry battalions, Bao Jiaxiang broke away from the Myanmar United Army and established the current United Wa State Army, maintaining an aloof relationship with the Myanmar government.

As the largest separatist armed force in Myanmar, the United Wa State Army has good relations with the surrounding warlord armed forces such as the Kokang Army and the Mongla Army.

When the Burmese army attacked Kokang, it also funded the resistance movement of the Kokang army. The Wa State Army under its command has been active in northern Myanmar for a long time. The Wa State Army can be seen in almost every regional conflict in northern Myanmar.

It can be said that the Wa State Army has very rich experience in jungle combat.

But that is only for other warlords in northern Myanmar and the Myanmar Army.

This is the first time the Wa Army has fought against the Red Police Corps.

Even though it was not a frontal battle, but just a jungle harassment, the Wa State Army was suppressed by the aerial firepower of the Red Police Corps. Several artillery positions were destroyed, and countless temporary camps where Wa State Army soldiers were hiding in the jungle waiting for attack orders were bombed. .

Even before a head-on battle, the Wa State Army suffered a lot of casualties.

As a last resort, Bao Jiaxiang had no choice but to order his troops to retreat deeper into the jungle and break them up into small groups to avoid large groups gathering together and being discovered by the opponent’s aerial reconnaissance aircraft.

However, Bao Jiaxiang soon discovered that this approach was in vain.

The reconnaissance plane hovering thousands of meters above the ground, like the eyes of the sky, saw the actions of the Wa State Army and the Mongla Army, and transmitted the information back to the ground command headquarters. After detailed analysis by ground analysts, the flags were The movements of the Wa State Army and Mongla Army troops in the jungle were revealed.

Soon, six Intruder attack planes hovering over Jingdong began one round after another of air strikes.

When the Wa State Army and the Mongla Army could no longer withstand the air attacks, they began to withdraw deeper into the jungle.

Jingdong’s Red Police Infantry Unit also began to launch a counterattack.

Zhao Wenlong left one Red Police Infantry Battalion and one Militia Guard Battalion as Jingdong’s defense and reserve forces. Two militia guard battalions and one Red Police Infantry Battalion were combined into eight militia guard battalions and four Red Police Infantry Battalions. Battalion, nearly five thousand troops were dispatched.

There are 2,500 troops deep into the jungles on the northeast and northwest sides, and the armored companies and tank platoons in hand are also sent to the northern branch of Highway 4.

This highway is the main road leading to Mongla County. If they invade it, the Mongla Army must rescue them, otherwise they will wait for the Red Police Corps to invade Mongla County!

As the red police troops on the Jingdong Plain took action, the counterattack began!

It started at the edge of the Jingdong Plain, where the Red Police troops launched an attack on the enemy’s defense positions stationed at the edge of the forest.

Six more Mi-24 armed helicopters were deployed in the air as low-altitude fire support.

On the ground, the Red Police Artillery Company was quickly deployed to a new position in the north of the Jingdong Plain, lifted by a Nighthawk transport helicopter.

The M777 light howitzer has a range of more than 30 kilometers, which is enough to provide fire support to the forests around Jingdong.

Once the attacking red police infantry and cooperating militia encounter strong enemy resistance and complex terrain, they will call for fire support.

The ultra-long-range bombardment from the 155mm grenade of the M777 light howitzer and the rain of rockets from the Mi-24 helicopter gunship can easily destroy the enemy’s defenses.

Huge explosions sounded one after another in the forest outside Jingdong Plain.

The Red Police soldiers and militiamen, fully armed, broke into the dense jungle and launched an attack on the defense positions of the Wa State Army and Mongla Army soldiers.

Even though some Wa State Army and Mongla Army soldiers tried to hide themselves in bushes and trees, or even covered themselves in mud, they could not escape the thermal imaging cameras of the Red Alert soldiers and militia soldiers.

In modern warfare, after high-tech equipment is transferred to individual units, traditional jungle guerrilla warfare has gradually lost its role.

What’s more, the initial combat plans of the Wa State Army and the Mongla Army failed to achieve their intended goals.

They did not expect that after several attacks, the Red Police Corps not only suffered very little losses, but also organized the fastest counterattack in the shortest time.

The Wa State Army and Mongla Army defense lines at the edge of the jungle collapsed first under aerial firepower and the attack of the Red Police Corps on the ground.

Countless Wa State Army and Mongla Army soldiers fled deep into the jungle, wishing they could grow more legs.

Wa State Army Commander Bao Jiaxiang and 2.5 Mongla Army Commander Lin Ming also responded immediately and organized a second line of defense to allow the main troops to evacuate.

The main theme is “the enemy advances and we retreat” and “avoid the enemy’s edge”.

But the red alert aircraft hovering in the sky soon noticed that the enemy was organizing a second line of defense.

The rocket artillerymen of the Red Alert Infantry Battalion also rushed to the front line and launched continuous artillery fire at the enemy’s second line of defense with 70mm rocket launchers.

Hundreds of 70mm rocket shells fell into the second line of defense of the Wa State Army and Mongla Army in the jungle.

The intruder attack aircraft in the air also arrived, and the rocket launcher nests under the wings roared out one after another 57mm rocket shells.

The second line of defense, which had just been organized, was bombarded indiscriminately.

The Mongla army in the east was defeated first! .
