-Snow’s pov-

I led Dean to a secret part of the garden that father had made for me for my 10th birthday.

There was a special arc that triggered an entryway to my space if you found the right flower to pull. Only I know which one to pull, not even father knows which one.

I pulled the flower and there was a ripple effect that indicated that the entrance was open. I went through first then gestured for Dean to come through.

“Is this what they call a Magispace?” He asked. I nodded.

“Father looked for a Magispace maker to make this place for me,” It looked like a normal garden with a white walkway and a white marble bench for me to sit on.

I was surrounded by lavenders and lilacs, white roses, and a small pond that contained lotuses. There were also fireflies and a pretty willow tree behind the pond.

I sat on the bench and patted the seat next to me. Dean sat down and straightened his back.

“Dean?” I asked uncertainly.

“Yes?” He looked at me seriously which made me relax a little.

I took a deep breath, “Dean, what would you say if I… If I said I wasn’t Snow?” He looked at me with a blank expression.

My heart was starting to race in fear. ‘What is he thinking?’

“I would ask you to specify, sister,” then he looked at me, studying me.

“… My real name is Alicia Tanaka, I’m from a different world. But somehow I ended up here in Snow’s body…”I could feel tears in my eyes from all the pressure and fear.

“Are you the one who saved me back then? Or did you come in after?” I was starting to feel an oppressing gaze from Dean.

“I came into Snow’s body weeks before I met you, Dean,” I felt a sharp pain in my heart.

His look softened but the pain in my heart didn’t. ‘Is that all that matters to him?’

“Then you are my sister. You were the only one who cared for me when I was hurt. And I’m sorry if I hurt you today, but I just can’t lose you…” He kissed my forehead.

‘This is starting to take the form of obsession and it’s not healthy… This is all Harley’s fault…’

“Dean, are you saying you would have hated anyone who was trapped unwillingly in this body? What if we didn’t choose to be like this?” I looked at him with a flicker of anger in my eyes.

“Of course not, sister, but I would feel… Sad, to know that something had happened to you,” he then smiled at me.

“Dean, do you know what the original Snow was like? She also came to you. And she also became your sister. If she saved you first and I came along after that what would you do?” I pressed.

He was silent for a while, which broke my heart. “I would love sister. I would still love you because you treated me with kindness and compassion, and you comforted me when I needed it. So, I would still choose you, over that Snow,” I cried softly and he put my head on his lap.

“I believe sister. But what happened to the original Snow? And how did you know she met me?” He asked.

‘He believes me! He actually believes me!’ I thought excitedly.

“Well… I know this because I saw it in a story… But the Snow in the story was different from me… She was cold, elegant, royal, and… I admit a little evil…”

“……..Sister, actually… I had a dream once… two dreams actually. I saw sister there and we were in the academy, and a woman there too… I had fallen in love with a woman and in one of my dreams… I… I had killed sister… And in the other dream, I had banished you. But days after that, I heard that… You were killed. In my dream I had not left my room for months and that I had become king. Mother wasn’t there and father was imprisoned in Fantasia… I thought it was just a nightmare… But it felt so real…”  He cried a little then wiped his tears away.

‘Could it be? Is his clairvoyance acting up?’ I asked myself silently.

“That woman… D-Does sister know who she is?” He asked.

I nodded and got off of his lap. “Dean, I wasn’t completely honest but, it was more than just one story. It was many, your two dreams are only if you fall for her,” I looked at him seriously.

He looked shocked then asked me to continue. I told him everything I knew about the game as he silently listened.

I was having a fairly hard time believing that he actually believed this story but I should put at least a little more trust in a capture target even if he was only 12 now…

After I explained all the main routes I stopped and looked at him. He looked to the ground, contemplating.

“Sister is the villain? But that’s quite contradictory to the sister you told me about at the start,” he said as he tilted his head confused.

“Right? This would be the fault of the creators, the ones who made these stories,” I said excitedly.

“Then… Your fiance or prince Leonard Fantasia was seduced by this woman?” He asked, slightly irritated.

I laughed, “You also fell for this woman, mind you. Also, Leonard isn’t my fiance,” I reminded him.

“Not in this life. You have changed your fate, sister and so can I,” he smiled at me and we both laughed.

“I finally have someone other than my spirits to confide in,” I said, gracefully wiping my tears.

“I am also happy that sister has finally told me the truth,” then he put his forehead on mine again.

“I’m glad you believe me, brother,” I said, hugging him.

He stayed silent then returned my hug.

“… Yes, I will always be here for you… Sister,”

Then we went back inside. It’s a good thing that Lumiere cast a waterproof enchant on my makeup before I started tearing up.

“Ah, Dean, Snowflake! I’ve been looking for both of you,” said father as he approached us.

“Um, the two of you have never met your grandmother yet, have you? Well, she just sent a last-minute invite to her home tomorrow… Haha, Snowflake, please don’t be mad,” I looked at him and gave him the “Oh, Really? I’m disappointed in you,” Look and blinked twice to add more guilt effect.

“Snowflake! It wasn’t my fault!” He whined. Dean chuckled as father shot him a glare.

“Father, you knew that I was looking forward to spending this month with my brother who I had not seen since I was 8.” I reminded.

“I know, I know, Snowflake, but your grandmother just sent me the letter… We can bring your brother if you like! And, your grandmother lives on the outskirts of Xander! We can make a diplomatic visit there and see aunt Saran! You’ve always wanted to meet the other kings right?” He was desperately pleading at this point but that diplomatic visit sounded like music to my ears.

“… I guess… If I can still bring Dean with me…” My decision was a little selfish but for the sake of my kingdom, it was an amazing opportunity.

I look at Dean with an “I’m sorry” look. He smiled at me with an understanding look in his eyes.

“That sounds fun. I’ve never visited Xander before, I heard they had a different style and culture compared to Sterling and Fantasia,” said Dean with a smile.

I nodded and my father was ecstatic. “That’s great! I’ll ask the servants to pack your bags immediately,” then father went to find our head butler, Charlie.
