Episode 2 – Childhood Friend’s Betrayal

What does she mean by that?

I was frozen, not knowing what was going on.

“You still don’t get it, do you? I don’t like you, in fact, I hate you. When I heard you were going to tell me today, I set you up.”

What do you mean you hate me? And how did you know I was going to tell you today?

“……,So you know I was going to tell you today.”

“Eh? You don’t know that?”

When Eri said that, Kaisei and Ruri came out from behind her.

I wonder how long they have been there.

“Yo ! Yuuki. How are you doing? How does it feel to be set up by us, your childhood friends !”

“……, I get it. I’ll stay out of your way.”

“You finally get it, huh? I’ve been trying to…….”

“But I don’t have to do it for you guys, right?”

“Don’t interrupt me !”

Kaisei pushed me away when he said that.

But I didn’t care and kept talking.

“It’s fine if I don’t give you guys the lunch I made, right?”

I don’t even want to eat what you made! I don’t want to eat what you made!

“I don’t even want to eat it ! That’s what I’m hoping for.”

“…..I see.then I won’t say anything anymore. “

This will lighten my burden. I don’t have to make a lunch box for each of them.

There’s also a healthy bento to make for Kagurazaka san, who basically overeats.

I also made a bento for Otori kun, who’s the ace of the club and is suitable for exercising.

Or lunch boxes for Kamisaka san, whose skin tends to get rough.

Less tedious work. This is one of the reasons I’m always late.

When I was about to leave, 

“Wait, I’ve been holding back until now and I’m stressed. You don’t mind if I let it out on you, right?”

Saying that, Otori kun kicked me and stomped on my face. Kagurazaka san and Kamisaka san took advantage of this and kicked me in the stomach.

They never punched me. I guess they didn’t even want to touch me.

After about 10 minutes of being kicked, they must have been satisfied, because they stopped kicking me and said, 

“Don’t ever talk to me again !”

“I don’t even want to see your face !”

“Bye, you disgusting asshole !”

They left after uttering a few words of disgust.

I guess that’s what she meant, since Kagurazaka san and Kamisaka-san were walking with Otoru kun. Those two were amazing.

I got up and sat back down on the bench, thinking about that in my hazy head.

Strangely, I wasn’t sad. It was as if I had lost something important.

I no longer had any feelings for the three of them, so I left the park that full of memories and headed home.
