45 – You shouldn’t just pick up anything randomly.

“Tsk, how annoying.”

Bianca bit her tongue inwardly and smiled at Lian with a puzzled expression.

“I never imagined there would be someone who would see the top floor and just leave. Unbelievable.”

Until now, every slave who had witnessed and experienced the top floor firsthand had immediately sought to become her disciple. Such was the allure of the power on the highest level.

However, Lian, without a moment’s hesitation, declared that she would return to her place. Bianca swiftly caught on. Letting Lian go like this would mean she could never bring her to the top floor.

‘The opportunity is now.’

Living here for an extended period would inevitably lead to unfavorable rumors about herself. Rumors such as all those who became her disciples mysteriously disappeared, to be precise.

There might be no risk of exposure as long as she stayed away from the top floor, but getting closer meant it was only a matter of time before she was found out.

If she were an unfinished powerhouse like Iris, she could buy herself some time, but Lian was already a completed force. Getting close to the top floor was a matter of moments for her.

Bianca spoke, her lips quivering.

“Shall we, then, check the armory one last time before we go? Iris has a decent weapon I want to give you.”

“Oh, thank you!”

As expected, Lian easily accepted anything related to her younger sister, Iris.

“She said we should go down quickly, so let’s go right away.”

“Yes!”

Walking ahead, Bianca thought to herself.

‘Fool. Revealing weaknesses and wandering around here will eventually lead to your downfall.’

Internally mocking Lian, Bianca opened the door to the armory. On the floor of the armory, magical runes invisible to ordinary people were engraved. They were runes that enhanced the power of shadows.

‘Now, then.’

Turning her body with a bizarre twist of her smiling lips, she faced Lian. Lian, with an innocent expression, was looking at her.

“I’ll – eat well.”

“Yes?”

Swoosh – thud.

The floor instantly turned pitch black and split in half. The moment Lian’s gaze turned to the floor, shadow monsters had already emerged from the darkness on the floor.

Crunch!

Like an alligator silently seizing its prey in a swamp, Lian was swiftly engulfed by the shadows.

“Kahaha! Fool!”

Bianca, not even blinking, burst into laughter as she watched Lian being chewed up and swallowed. She enjoyed this moment the most, seeing a powerful figure, capable of rewriting history, becoming nothing more than part of her own.

“Even though you’re becoming a beautiful part of me, don’t be too sad!”

Swallow!

With the sound of Lian being completely consumed, she disappeared without a trace.

‘Ah, I wonder what ability I’ll gain this time?’

With an ecstatic expression, she gazed at the sword, anticipating the next chapter in her extraordinary journey.

“Was the one I used last time about the length of a short sword?”

Laughing softly, wielding a blade that was neither long enough to be a longsword nor short enough to be a dagger, she smirked.

“Shall we test it lightly in the training room?”

Thinking it was time to stretch her body, she dashed out of the room. Or rather, she tried to dash out.

Thud!

The moment she attempted to leave the room, her pinky toe collided with the edge of the door as if it were her fate. Under normal circumstances, she might have felt a slight impact, but today, a shocking level of pain surged as her toe seemed to mash against something.

“Ugh, ah…!”

Along with the pain, blood gushed from her mouth. Bianca’s eyes began to tremble as if in madness.

“W-what is this…?”

Just from stubbing her pinky toe, blood gushed out uncontrollably. This was an inexplicable occurrence.

“W-what on earth…?”

Since becoming a person of strength, she had never seen such an immense amount of blood. Bianca, turning pale at the sight, staggered backward.

Crash!

“Ah!”

As she stepped back, she accidentally hit the display stand holding various weapons. Sharp weapons clattered against the floor. Hearing the sound of the blades rolling on the ground, her senses suddenly sharpened.

“M-must be because I’ve swallowed an excessively powerful person.”

Struggling to contain her anxiety, she attempted to put the fallen swords back in place. As she took a step forward, by pure chance, she stepped on the tip of a sword, causing it to push forward and make her fall backward.

“Huh…?”

All sorts of weapons that had been scattered seemed dangerously placed in the direction she was falling, almost as if intentionally arranged.

Thud!

In a sickle-like shape, the curved end of a blade pierced through Bianca’s sole and protruded out from the top of her foot.

“Aaahhh!”

She screamed as she fell sideways. The handle connected to the blade stuck in her foot shook, causing another decorative cabinet to topple over. Above her head, a massive lump of iron, resembling an orc’s head, fell down.

“Wait -… nooo!”

With a loud clang, the metal came crashing down onto her head, scattering sparks. Unable to comprehend the situation, she instinctively stuck out her tongue and strained her eyes against the impending overturn.

“What… what in the world is happening?”

An incomprehensible series of events; she was truly on the brink of losing her mind.

Thud! Crash! Thump!

“G-guh, st-stop… aaahhh!”

As if on a prepared stage, stepping on and being hit by the fallen weapons one after another, Bianca was turning into a living target. Rolling like a ball among the arsenal, she eventually stumbled out from the pile of weapons.

“Huh, cough…”

She gasped for breath, more wounded than when she fought the champion.

“I-I might die like this!”

She staggered to her feet, feeling a surge of fresh blood flowing down her body.

“Wait… What is this…?”

Her gaze shifted from the pool of blood gathering beneath her feet toward the armory. The armory looked like a massacre, as if ten people had been slaughtered inside, their blood drained. The sound implied that it was impossible for her to be standing there unscathed.

“What the…? What on earth is happening?”

Bianca, swallowing even her comedic filter as she swallowed Lian, couldn’t comprehend the current situation.

Already accustomed to the comedic filter, Lian saw nothing unusual, but Bianca couldn’t grasp any of her body’s reactions. Misunderstanding soon turned into something akin to terror.

“W-We need treatment… Treatment first!”

She screamed as if in agony before staggering toward the living room. The living room, seemingly untouched by any disturbance, was filled with an air of peacefulness that only added to Bianca’s horror. It felt like something was about to happen any moment.

“Quickly, before anything strange happens, let’s get treatment—”

In the comedic world, expressing worry about an event guaranteed that the event would actually happen.

Shooom!

Before she could finish her sentence, an enormous sound reverberated terrifyingly.

Pffft!

“Ugh…”

A window flew in from outside, piercing through her abdomen. It all happened in an instant.

“Ugh, ugh… I don’t want to die.”

Bianca, her abdomen pierced, coughed up screams along with the pouring blood and organs. Then the organs spoke.

“Oh, insane! How dare you touch my body without any gloves?”

A piece of organ resembling Bianca’s facial features spat curses at her. Bianca looked at it with a dazed expression.

“There are pieces of you scattered over there! Hurry up and pick them up!”

“No, if we work hard inside the body, shouldn’t the body owner take good care of the organs? How did you manage them to get a hole in the stomach? I’ll get compensation for all of this!”

“If you’re going to bandage it, can you use the highest quality? I’m a bit sensitive.”

Brimming with arrogance, Bianca’s mind blurred.

“What is this? Why am I not dead? And what are we talking about now? Organs? Organs are talking? How? Shouldn’t I be dead if they are outside the body? How are they talking? Where is the mouth?”

As consecutive incomprehensible events unfolded, Bianca’s mind creaked like a malfunctioning machine. Instead of expending energy to understand the situation, her brain, in a clever way, concluded the situation.

“It’s a dream, right?”

Otherwise, despite the intestines speaking and the stomach being pierced, it was impossible to breathe as if nothing had happened.

“Well, surely it’s like that…”

Before her words could finish.

“Bianca?”

“…?!”

A familiar voice reached her. Bianca’s gaze quickly swept the surroundings.

“Bianca, when can I go out?”

“W-where are you talking from?!”

No matter how much she looked around, she couldn’t see the owner of the voice. Bianca’s voice began to tremble.

“What? Well, it’s inside Bianca’s belly.”

“What…?”

Her gaze turned to her abdomen.

“Did you eat chicken yesterday? I’m melting in there.”

A voice was coming from around her throat. And it was the voice of Lianne, whom she had consumed.
