In Other Realms With My Own System

Chapter 19 - Apprenticeship

After building the foundation for the new Island working, I asked Guardian Niharika to take care of the Island matters and moved my focus on Professions. I have now the complete books on alchemy, formations and artifact crafting, up to Grand Master level and incomplete Supreme Master level in my mind. Still, those are only written knowledge, not practiced and calibrated enough for direct implementation. Therefore, I can be only considered an apprentice level in all three professions.

I began to carry out experiments to confirm various hypotheses and methods and facts recorded in the books. My days again fall into a monotonous routine- I sleep, I eat, and I carry out experiments.

2 Weeks later.

After calibrating all the apprentice level professions facts, I begin to realize that I need to get out of this dull routine. So, I started to learn and practice different weapons every day before sleep until I have lost every ounce of energy left in me. To spice it up, I also engaged in hand-to-hand combats with more than one person weekly.

As for the slaves, now their routine has also changed. They had to learn all the professions 3 hours in the morning, carry out farm works during the day, and all sorts of combat for 4 hours before sleep. I wrote books on all the professions for the apprentice level and have slaves made copies and distributed among themselves. This is clearly because I want them to carry out the production on a mass scale of my researched products.

Now that I have calibrated my Mastery over all the three professions, I was now looking into finished products of this world. The Alchemist here are kinda hell-bent on manufacturing pills, only a few of them have very researched in serums. If we are taking market portions here then pills cover 78% alone. If we examine the same for the Artifact crafting, weapons carry 61%, shield and body gears 26%, and space rings 9% of the total crating markets. The rest of the crafting products are generally customer-specific demands. And the last, formation masters, well they are not products based professionals, more like hired project workers, they do the job as you specify them and that's it. No products.

I, for one think using crafting and formation knowledge, will definitely result in badass products. The inscription used in array formation can definitely be turned into something more. But it requires lots of calculations, some fundamental understanding, for which I don't see how it could be well established. Array Masters, are like for example, those alchemists from old times of my past world, only looking, researching and recording the compounds not the basic understanding of elements. I really have no idea what should be done about it. I feel that it can certainly be turned into an independent profession or a support profession at least.

The Pills and weapons available in the market are no trouble for me to produce the same as Apprentice Level Professionals. But, to move forward it requires the consumption of huge spirit energy and a strong flame. I can make it up to the Master Grade Profession somehow but not higher.
