Inevitably Trapped With The Amorous Husband

Xiulan went back to her office after spending time with her husband. It has been a while since they had s.e.x and they even did it during business hours. She felt like a young lady having a secret affair during office hours. 

The gossiping employees eyed their lady boss and started gossiping, "Look at our boss. Her face and skin are glowing! Her face is bright red too."

"Shut up. That's normal for a married woman." 

"At this hour?!"

"Rich people are spontaneous. They can even do it inside their office without reservations. We are just employees and slaving for them, we don't have the luxury to do such things unless you're a harlot or a boss' pet."

"Why are you mad?"

"Sssshhh!" the two employees' manager silenced them. "Do you want me to report you to HR for gossiping during office hours?" the manager warned. 

The gossiping employee shut her mouth and continue her work.

Xiulan felt slightly embarrassed that her face gave off the answer that she just came back from a good time. She fans herself to calm down.

"Boss, a woman called a while ago. She said that you owe her a coffee and you already know who she is."

Xiulan halted her actions. "A woman? Did she left any contact information?"

"No, she said she will wait downstairs' coffee shop. I don't know which shop she was pertaining to." Secretary Dandan apologetically replied. "Do you need me to assist you when you meet her? Just to be safe," she concerned.

"No need. My husband has his bodyguards follow me around. If something happens to me, it's the bodyguard's job to protect me." Xiulan smiled. "This woman, did she sound like a foreigner?"

"Ah yes! She has this certain accent that usually people who live long in America." Secretary Dandan mentioned. "The woman also has an authoritative tone. Is she a young rich lady?"

"Yes. Her father is a prominent person. A scary one too. But my husband and father are far more scary, so no need to worry, Dandan." Xiulan assured her secretary. Her young secretary is somewhat nosy and gets easily concerned. She might as well appease her a little.

"Okay, boss."

Once Dandan left her boss' office, she quickly sent a message to Secretary Yang Bo, telling him that the madam is meeting an unknown woman later. She has no clue what time but maybe when the boss' goes home.

When Secretary Yang Bo received the message, he immediately relayed the message to Hongqi. 

"Tsk. That woman, what is she trying to do?" Hongqi irritably ranted. "What did the immigration office said? Why did they let her in?"

"According to a whistleblower, the three immigration officers that let her pass the gates received a hefty three hundred twenty-five thousand yuan each as compensation. The officers immediately filed a vacation and sick leave after that day." Secretary Yang Bo reported. "The admin said they already filed a case against the office and will fire him."

"Tell the guards to follow my wife closely as possible. That crazy bitch Zhao Lingyu will do anything to harm anyone who is close to me." Hongqi ordered. "Tell Zhao Lingyu's father if he doesn't bring his dear daughter back to the States, I will sue his daughter and get her to prison."

 "I will absolutely relay this message to him, young master." Secretary Yang Bo gulped. He can feel how tense the situation is.

Xiulan left her office by 9 PM. She needed to finish some stuff in the office. She did not want to bring some of her work since she wants to rest and sleep early tonight.

She completely forgot that she needs to meet Zhao Lingyu tonight. So when Lingyu suddenly appeared behind her while she walks on the pavement going to the entrance of the c.o.n.d.o.minium. Zhao Lingyu got quickly seized by Hongqi's security, Xiulan halted and froze from the sudden ear-tearing shrill behind her. It was so near her that it's almost made her deaf and scared to death. 

"Ahhhhhhhh! Let me go!" Zhao Lingyu screams and even kicks one of the guards. 

Xiulan took a moment to understand the situation. "What the — !?" 

"Miss, you are under arrest!"

Xiulan can only stupidly watch the scene happening in front of her. She was just enjoying her walk a minute ago and suddenly Zhao Lingyu got arrested. Such a bizarre and awkward night...

"Let go of me! Song Xiulan! Don't we still need to have a cup of coffee?" Zhao Lingyu sneered at Xiulan as she tries to escape from the security's grasp.

"..." Xiulan couldn't answer her. She obviously shouldn't entertain this woman's ramblings.

The security carried Zhao Lingyu away while the latter screams like a madwoman, "I will never forgive you, Song Xiulan! Xing Hongqi is mine! I am telling you, I, the original woman is back and will get what is rightfully hers!"

Xiulan can only watch the screaming woman get carried away like a rice sack. Good thing that there aren't many people around to see the scandalous display.

"Madame, let us escort you to your room." Two guards were waiting for her.

"Was it necessary to arrest her?" Xiulan started asking. She doesn't know how grave Zhao Lingyu's case was. She only knows that she did something to Hongqi and got banned from entering the country again

"It is only right to arrest a person who doesn't follow the law." the bodyguard said.

Looks like she will never know what Zhao Lingyu did.

The bodyguards didn't leave yet and stayed to guard her inside the presidential suite. Xiulan didn't mind since they still give her alone time and privacy. She's also a little bit scared right now. The look in Zhao Lingyu's eyes was too malicious and wicked. She might even have nightmares tonight.

As she recalls, she heard from her big sister Nuo Shu that Zhao Lingyu had multiple husbands. Successfully stealing the rich husbands from their wives. Her big sister warned her that she should be wary of Zhao Lingyu being too close to Hongqi. 

Xiulan trusts her husband's words and she knows how much he hates Zhao Lingyu. Enough to embarrassingly arrest her in public like that. 

Another thing, it is also impossible for them to be close or meet again. Her husband seems to avoid seeing that crazy woman in person. 

Somehow, her gut tells her that a storm is coming.
