Its Just A Game

Soon after Answering all there questions that were tossed my way. I stopped by Lilith Giving her all my Ep and spending a little while talking with her. I made my way over to a small stress relief project I have been messing around with during some of my downtime.

Making my way towards my desk in the field was I lifted two large steel doors leading into a brightly light corridor making my way through I hear a soft sweat voice laughing with a crazed obsession. Taking my first right I moved closer to the voice.

Soon the stench of blood mixed with a sulphuric smell Flooded the area. Not to my surprise a succubus in a white lab coat loosely hanging from her body. Long Golden hair hanging delicately from her body, Slightly pale skin with a golden hue to it. Giving her a very delicate look. Her face, hard to say as she is constantly changing her facial looks. Today she was wearing the face of a young woman looking between the ages of 19-21. Tho she has kept her Crimson red Eyes.

In her small delicate hands was a Hammer Dripping blood as she brought it down on the caved-in chest of a Human soldier stripped down to his birthday suit. Each swing of the hammer causing her to crackle in laughter and for the body to twitch for a few seconds with muffled screams of pain.

“Lily, I would like to talk to you for a moment. Also, do you know where little Timmy is?”

Spinning on her heals mid-swing. She flashed me a radiant smile. A simple smile that could fool one into believing she was a toothless dog. “Yes. Do you require some Bodily distractions?” Gracefully moving towards me she pressed herself up against me. “You know I am always ready.”

“Not now Lily, Anyways do you know if little Timmy is around.”

Moving back a little a frown decorated her face. “He’s in the testing field testing his Mage hand 2.0.”

Looking down at the meat paste of a chest that was the human soldiers. “So what’s this about.”

“Well, I could tell you.”

“Not, Now Lily.”

“Tonight it is then.”

Rolling my eyes at the succubus prance around the body Flipping it over revealing a Rune carved into his flesh.

“I was working on improving a very basic life support rune For warriors. The basic one will allow you to live through a stab for about 20 minutes before it fails. But What if you make it so it sucks up the residue mana in a warrior’s body to power it. That worked out. Then came testing how much damage can the Body handle before the Rune gives out. It’s simply amazing the Runes has reconfigured his body allowing the blood to travel through his muscles directly then once I smashed his heart it started using mana to circulate the blood around the body. Next was the lungs. but I feel like the rune is on the edge with just supporting blood circulation. and it would need another burst of mana and an increase in his mana gathering speeds to support breathing.”

Staring down at the rune carved into the back of his flesh it was glowing brightly it was a Bloodied fist gripping onto a Golden heart encircled in chains. It’s simply amazing how simple the runic pictures can be, but the effects.

“So what happens if I were to destroy the rune.”

“I was going to find that out after I found out how much it could handle. I already have another prepared for that.” Lily said gesturing to a woman hanging from a meat hook from the ceiling with all her limbs separated from her body hanging around her.

“What’s her deal.”

“I don’t know just a bunch of goblins gave me here asking me to torture her really good. She was quite a screamer so I had to inscribe a Rune of silence on her throat. it was a real problem with all the squirming too so I had to remove her limbs.”

Soon the pattering of rushing footsteps came from behind me and a small little goblin barely breaking 2’6″ came charging in with remarkable speed and a hand with a crystal in the middle of it strapped to the barrel of a gun.

“IT WORKS. LOOK LOOK LOOK!”

Pulling the trigger of the gun a gush of flame came pouring out and disappearing leaving a ball of flames floating in the palm of the hand. Then a click came from the gun and the ball of flames went flying forward crashing into the wall with a small explosion.

“Good job their little guy.” Bending down I patted his head.

“Ok, Tho I wanted to talk to you both to do something for me.

I was wondering if both of you could overlook a new research department that would work for sanctuary. You would both be getting paid to do this instead of your free time being spent here and would be managing small teams and those members of yours would-be allowed access to this lab while other research teams under your team members would be allocated to a lab built above this.”

“I, I, I, I will do it. But can I have access to more mages?”

“We don’t have many captured mages, but, the ones we have you can have full access to.

Ohh, Ya also Lily I would like you to invite other succubi to join you as there ingenuity with the body and runes could be helpful either part time or full time and there pay can be discussed.”

“I can, But do I have to share my lab.”

“You can section off most of your lab for your self but you have to leave enough room for your group projects.”

Opening up the bloodline communicator that has been pushed to the back of my mind.

The messages were calling for help as the city was under cannon fire.

Giving lily a command to go get Drie and tell her to ready soldiers. I quickly rushed to the exit of the dimension.

Rushing out of the dimension levelled house greeted my view all around me as I heard the blasts of cannons. Luckily for me, the population of sanctuary lives in the Pocket Dimension. I started scanning for where the cannon fire was coming from.

Two large airsh.i.p.s. I found were flying high up in the sky firing down upon us. They looked like heavily armoured zeppelins. With extra metal Carriages strapped to its sides with each loaded with guns or mages firing down upon the city. Looking back at the Portal. They should be arriving within an hour if they head over here at full speed.

F.u.c.k, I gotta put portals closer to the war cities

Stretching my wings out I shot up towards the closest of the two sh.i.p.s scanning the ground for any foot soldiers. Seeing none at the moment but I don’t put it out of possibilities as they are probably waiting for the bombarding to end.

The moment I got 20 feet into the air, waves of bullets were redirected toward me. Most bouncing off my Fir and only scratching at my skin.

Felling a tingling sensation in my stomach I glanced down noticing a large ice spike sticking out of my stomach. Pulling it out I glanced around trying to find where it came from but nothing special stood out under the fail of projectiles.

Soon a searing sensation lit up the back of my head as my vision switched to mana vision as my head regrew. Quickly scanning the area around me I noticed a few mana signatures spread out around the city and among the zeppelins there are a few very powerful signatures per Box along with a couple of weaker ones all trained in on me.

I guess I have to make this more interesting for my guests.

Shoving as much mana as I could into my forearm until it started to crackle and the skin started splitting I Ripped off my arm throwing it at the closest box watching it exploded upon impacting the box I soon came crashing in behind it with my stump of a regrowing arm I found my first target an older man with a glowing red staff projecting a red barrier shielding him and the cannoneers from the blast.

Clicking my tung at the lack of damage done I rush over to the mage sending my fist into the shield.

again I smashed my fist into the shield watching it crack and the old man’s expression becomes strained.

Once more this time where it started to crack, harder.

One more, it shattered falling apart as the old man collapsed gasping.

Moving over to crush the old man under my heel several sharp pain lit up all around my body. looking around my body Golden glowing spikes were protruding from my body in several places causing my skin to Scream out in pain. As the spikes started Glowing brighter. along with all the chains becoming tight as the soldiers Pulled hard. Forcing me to my knees.
