Lesbian But Not

Chapter 91 - 89: Testing Devices Never Ends Well

WILL UPDATE SOON

I open the door to the car, putting my foot out and dragging my legs to get out of the car. I turn to the driver and tells him. "Hey. I'll contact you when I will be back. You can roam around or you can stay here."

"Alright, then sir..." He said timidly, hiding his face.

I turn my attention to the cafe in front of me. The smell of coffee beans is everywhere. It's so bright and warm like a lamp in the dark sky. There are seats outside so that people can experience the delightful open-air. The inside is crowded with a group of people dying to buy some of their coffee.. I guess this is a popular cafe spot for evenings.

I entered the establishment, hearing a smooth sounding bell as I entered. My eyes wander around as to where Louie might be. As I walked around turning my head left and right. I noticed a few women looking at me with l.u.s.tful eyes.

Yes... ladies... I know Louie is good looking but It'll be weird to get hit on now... Anyways where is Louie... he should be here somewhere... I continued my search for about a few minutes before I stumbled upon a door.

"State your business?" A man with a suit and a large build stood there.

I look above to see the words V.I.P room was placed there. "Is there a person named Grace Baltazar here?" I asked the bouncer.

He looked at me up and down in a way to intimidate me... I held my ground standing there, looking at him deep in the eyes. He clears his throat and then proceeds to open the door. "You will find her in room 2." He says welcoming me inside.

Great! "Thank you," I said to him standing up tall and confident as I walked towards room 2. I opened the door to reveal 2 sofa seats and a chair in a dimly lit room. "Oh you finally came," Louie says to me as he is covered with a blanket.

"This place can be a bit chilly. So you can grab one of those freshly washed blankets over there." He would point to my back to where the stack of blankets was neatly folded and displayed.

"Oh thank you." I look above as I felt the cold air breezing from the room. "The air conditioning is a bit too strong here," I said as I sat down on the other sofa seat.

"You must be asking why you are here right?" Louie adjusted the way he sat down, moving the blanket to cover his foot instead of his whole body.

"Yes. Why am I here again? You said that you have something important to discuss with me?"

He looked down on the ground, letting out a soft sigh. "I need to ask you a favor. Can you do this for me?"

"What kind of favor is it exactly? Is it something hard to do?" I inquired for the details... something about this is giving me the cold feeling and it's just not the room but the whole situation... The tension is as thick as the cold air.

"Marry me." He proposed with a cold and serious look in his face.

"WHAT?" My eyes started to water and I blushed intensely. "MA-MA-MARRY YOU?!" I shouted stumbling over my words as I was very surprised as to what he said to me. WHY WOULD HE WANT TO MARRY ME! DIDN'T HE SAY THAT HE DOESN'T LIKE ME?! "Is this some kind of joke cause it's a funny one." I chuckled although, in the back of my mind, I have these questions that aren't answered.

"I am not saying a joke. I'm telling you to marry me temporarily." He restated his request.

"But why? Don't you have a wife? What about Isabel? Isn't she supposed to be your fiancee? Also if you guys have traditions of polygamy then the answer is no. I'm not really interested in having a husband with another wife BUT THE BIGGER QUESTION IS WHY ASK ME?" I exclaimed... I honestly don't know what to even feel...

"I still haven't signed the marriage contract yet but I will soon. He sighed. "Well.. you will soon since you're in my body. You'll have to sign that contract." He emphasized the "you" part. "So I can still cancel it as to which I d.e.s.i.r.e to but I will need to be married to someone else so I choose you."

"What.. what? Hold on? Basically, what you're trying to say is that you're trying to avoid your marriage with Isabel and in order to do that. You'll have to marry me?" I asked again for clarification.

"Yes...." He declared with a serious tone.

"You do realize that Isabel is legit a crazy person right? I'm seriously surprised that she isn't in an asylum trying to have an argument with the couch. If she finds out that I stole you from her. She's gonna probably try to poison or attack you or me. Which by the way since I'm in your body, she'll release all her anger towards me AND TRUST ME, YOU DO NOT WANT TO FIGHT WITH AN ANGRY PSYCHO. Had way too many experiences.."

"Don't worry... I can arrange a few bodyguards in case she does try to attack us. Also, Greg is your bodyguard right? I think he is able to stop her."

Greg... I guess he doesn't really know the situation...

"Hm? Something wrong? Why are you frowning?" He recoiled his head in my direction.

"Greg and I are not really on best terms right now... we kind of had a fight when we had our screaming match back at the mall alleyway..." I clenched my fist in sadness.. it still hurts since I kind of think of Greg as my best friend...

"Well.. we can just hire another bodyguard. Luckily I know of one that can protect us. So we have a de-"

"Who said I agreed to marry you?" I spoke bluntly.

"What? I assum-" He remained calm and collected, stopping at the moment I opened my mouth to explain my answer.

"I never really said that I wanted to marry you, to begin with. So why are you saying like we already made a deal? Even if we had a bodyguard and you could cover for me when Isabel and her family attack me and call me a homewrecker. What would I possibly gain from marrying you?" I grew a backbone as I stood my ground.

Does he think that I'm just going to do this for no reason? Why would I do something that could ruin the reputation of my company and get me in a lot of trouble with Isabel's family? It's just suicide and he's encouraging me to do it because the only one that's gonna benefit from this is HIM.

"It's because you lov-" He paused for a moment, not completing his sentence. As he took a deep breath. I can tell that he's at a loss for words.

What was he going to say? "Because what? Speak up. I didn't hear you." I pestered him to speak louder.

He remained silent. Keeping eye contact with me as he is in deep thinking. What could he be thinking? This thing is just another game of chess.. like what happened during high school... where he was the one that's just been playing the game when I think it was real. I guess the tides have turned now right?

"Listen.. if you don't have anything more to say then I will personally see to it that this conversation is over." I stood up from the sofa seat as I grabbed my things.

"WAIT!" He shouted, grabbing me by the hand.

"You said that you wanted to not get married to Isabel right? It's because you don't love her. If you were to ask me to marry you then it'll just be the same as marrying someone that you don't love right?" I fumed to his face. I'm so sick of just going along his game.

"No. It's not like that.. it's because I lov-" He stopped himself from saying something, covering his mouth with embarrassment.

"You know what the problem is with you? You aren't able to say anything straight to anyone. If you didn't want to marry this woman, then you should have stood up against your father and not have done it. After all, it is you, who will sign this contract. You could say no to it." I denounced to him straightforwardly.

"....." He still remained silent. Only staring at me and not doing anything. It annoys me really. I'm done with this. "I'm leaving. I don't have time for your shenanigans. Maybe when we do switch back which will happen soon. You would have the guts to say it to your father yourself that you don't want to marry her." I exclaimed to him as I walked to the door.

It's useless trying to talk really... if he only just sees me as something to use then I'll just not tolerate it...
