Long Past Dawn

In case you didn't know, I started this as an entry to a competition here, I got second place and a lot of people seemed to like it at the time so I kept it going. But since then a lot of things have changed.

A lot of personal stuff has happened in the last few days and while I would like to say that's how I came to this conclusion, it's not. Since a while back I've slowly started to lose motivation for this and it's gotten to the point I think it shows in my writing and update schedule.

So I'm going to take a break in hopes that my motivation for this comes back, but I'm not very hopeful. I really hope this isn't goodbye but it might be. I hate the fact that I've let myself be so stressed by this that my hobby hasn't even become fun anymore.

At the time I began this I was really round of myself for starting this but since then I've realized that I still have a lot to learn and I've even come to dislike this fic all together. Maybe one day I'll come back and completely rewrite it, but again, I'm not hopeful.

I do have one or two more chapters of this in stock and after this goes up, so will those. Give them a read if you want or don't. In the future, I might try other writing projects but yet again, not hopeful.

I am really proud that I kept this going for so long but I also feel like this is the type of thing that should be much shorter than it is and should be a small read.

I don't know if what I'm trying to say is that I've dropped this or not, I guess time will tell. I don't really expect may people to keep reading after this and I wouldn't blame you if you don't, it's not very good. Thanks if you get this far, if not that's also fine.

As one last afterthought, I want to say thanks to everyone who stayed through with me and special thanks to my friend Satan, who helped me with a lot of the ideas and characters, sorry I wasn't able to see it to the end of this yet.

But closing this off, goodbye maybe I'll be back with this or my break will be indefinite. But for now, goodbye.
