Look In the Mirror

Vol 2 Chapter 727: Forget Dharma Zen Sutra

   "Heart-eating Gu!"

   Li Chen frowned.

Looking past Zen Master Ji Mie, he landed on Monk Li Geng.

At this moment, Li Geng does not have the demeanor of the former chief of Sanbao Temple.

His hands were hanging down, his face was expressionless, his eyes were lifeless, and he looked like a walking dead.

"Why did you come here at this time?"

Li Chen sighed softly, and immediately picked up a rosary. The next moment, a water splash appeared from the rosary, and there was a fish swimming in it.

It was the red pig that he captured by the Miluo River.

Chi Chi specializes in eating Gu worms, and as soon as it appeared at this moment, it swam to Li Geng's head.

  ‘哗啦’

I saw it tumbling in the void, riding the spray all over its body, and sticking to Li Geng's face.

  boo~

The fish kiss gently brushed over, and then a bubble was spit out.

Erli Geng suddenly opened his eyes wide, and wisps of black air rose from his head.

The black air seemed to want to run out, but it was trapped by the air bubbles and could not move.

After about a few breaths, Li Geng's face suddenly became more lively, and he fell into the arms of Zen Master Ji Mie as if his bones had been taken out.

And all the black air on his head condensed into a ball, if there is substance.

All of them were covered by air bubbles, and they were just the shadow of a bug.

The bug rushed left and right, as if it was about to burst out of the bubble, but every time it moved, it was finally bounced back by the bubble.

Ji Mie put Li Geng away, staring at the Gu worm in mid-air, with surprise on his face: "This is the true form of Heart-biting Gu!"

  Li Chen nodded: "Not bad."

"Heart-eating Gu specializes in eating people's minds and brains, crippling people's minds."

"I don't know if Senior Brother Li Geng has hurt the foundation."

His eyes did not move, but there was a bit of worry in his heart.

Judging from the appearance of Li Geng just now, most of his mind has been pondered by the Heart-eating Gu.

When Chan Master Ji Mie heard the words, he just proclaimed the Buddha's name: "Amitabha."

"Fortunately, with the help of Buddha, his life was finally saved."

Thinking of this, the great monk couldn't help sighing tenderly.

Li Geng entered the Shasheng Temple since he was a child, and worshiped under the seat of Zen Master Ji Mie.

Just like a lonely Zen master and an outrageous monk.

Ji Mie Zen Master regarded Li Geng as a disciple, more like a father and son.

Family love is better than mentor-student love.

If it is said that Li Geng has become like this, Zen Master Ji Mie is the last thing he wants to see.

After a cup of tea, Monk Li Geng woke up leisurely.

It's just that his gaze swept across the two people in front of him, and he said stupidly: "Who are you?"

After finishing speaking, he sat up from the arms of Zen Master Ji Mie in a daze.

Zen Master Ji Mie and Li Chen looked at each other, and couldn't help but think inwardly: Sure enough, I have hurt my mind.

   "Amitabha."

"Li Geng, do you know this old monk?"

   "Liga?"

Li Geng frowned, and looked up and down the great monk in front of him with his eyes. After a while, he opened his mouth and was about to speak, but suddenly his head hurt, and he hurriedly hugged his bald head with both hands.

"ah!"

There was a scream, and Monk Ji Mie hurriedly exhausted a wisp of his true energy when he saw it, and then comforted him to sleep again.

   "Amitabha."

   "Everything happens for a reason."

Zhan Master Ji Mie sighed softly, but Li Chen's eyes suddenly lit up: "Uncle Master, there is no need to be sad."

"Although senior brother Li Geng lost his memory, maybe it was a blessing in disguise, but we never know."

   "What does the Buddha say?"

Li Chen explained: "My Buddhist disciples practice, what they cultivate is the afterlife, and what they cut is the past."

"Senior brother lost his memory, but he happened to get the samadhi, which reminded the little monk of a unique skill that no one has practiced for a long time in the Sutra Pavilion."

"Oh? Let me ask the Buddha to show you." Zen Master Ji Mie knows that the Buddha has studied Buddhism intensively, has extensive knowledge and memorization, and knows the classics in the Sutra Pavilion like the back of his hand. If he can get his advice, there may be a way out.

So Lichen explained: "Speaking of which, the practice of this unique art is extremely harsh, and the disciples must reach the state of ecstasy before they can practice."

Hearing this, Monk Ji Mie suddenly realized: "Could it be that what the Buddha said is the "Forgetting the Dharma Chan Sutra" created by Master Bodhidharma!"

Li Chen nodded: "That's right, it's that magical skill."

"Forgetting the Dharma Chan Sutra" was formed by sudden enlightenment when Bodhidharma Patriarch Bodhidharma realized his great enlightenment before Nirvana.

Although it is not as good as Bodhidharma's Six Paths, it is also a rare Mahayana cultivation method in the Zen lineage.

If you practice well, you may not be unable to prove the Tao.

But Monk Ji Mi frowned: "That magical skill is so profound that no one can understand it even after thousands of years, not to mention that Li Geng has already looked like this, I'm afraid..."

Li Chen shook his head when he heard the words: "Forget about me, forget about worries, and forget about the world of mortals."

"Because of the superior state of my Buddhism, none of the disciples of Shasheng Temple in the past can reach that level.

That's why the ancient book was hidden in the pavilion, covered with dust. "

"On the other hand, Senior Brother Li Geng, entering the world, life and death, is cut off in a single thought, which just fits into the state of selflessness."

When Lichen comprehended "Maha Wuduchi", he once comprehended the inheritance in the Sutra Pavilion.

Among them is the "Forgetting the Dharma Zen Sutra". The records in this sutra are too profound, and even a Buddha's heart like Lichen can only see a part or two through the mirror of interpretation.

This scripture does not have high requirements for the aptitude of the disciples, but it has extremely high requirements for the disciples' Zen mind.

You must break through the world of mortals and forget the world of mortals before you can practice one or two.

Li Geng at this moment, although he can't reach that kind of Zen mind, he has already forgotten the world of mortals.

It just meets the requirements of cultivation.

Ji Mie nodded his head when he heard the words, and said, "Since it is the teaching of the Buddha, it must be more beneficial and harmless to Li."

After finishing speaking, he bowed to Lichen, and then told what happened in Shasheng Temple recently.

When he heard that the Yaozu was coming in a menacing way this time, Mr. Mu Duo made a thousand-machine sword pavilion to block the Yaozu from outside, he was relieved.

   "Amitabha."

"I didn't expect that after a thousand years, the Yaozu still didn't give up."

Speaking of this, Li Chen groaned, took out a token from his waist and handed it to Zen Master Ji Mie: "Uncle, after you go down the mountain, give this token to my master."

"Let him, the old man, go to the Killing Forest. When the time comes, pass the token to my disciple Jianzhen, and he will understand what to do."

Ji Mie nodded upon hearing the words, and took the token.

After saluting again, he turned and went down the mountain.

Li Chen stood on the mountain, watched the figure disappear from sight, and then returned to the Bukong Waterfall and entered the retreat state again.

And when Zen Master Ji Mie returned to Shasheng Temple, it happened that Monk Mi Jian trapped the Yaozu with the Tao of Dreams.

The entire Shasheng Temple was surprisingly quiet.

When I came to Jichan Palace, there were three monks and six seats.

The monks are discussing how to wipe out the remaining monsters.

At this time, Zen Master Ji Mie remembered Li Chen's explanation, so he hurriedly gave the token to Zen Master Lonely.

   And relayed Li Chen's words.

The lonely monk looked at the token in his hand and said: "Since it is said by the Buddha, it must have a deep meaning."

"It's not too late, I'll go to Killing Forest now."

After saying that, he got up and left, and in a blink of an eye, he used the evasion technique of "a leaf of white cloud floating" and headed towards the killing forest at the foot of the mountain.
