Love Will Lead You Back

It's their second day being together in his villa and when Ji An woke up, she was resting on his arm and his other arm was on her waist hugging her. She tried to lift his hand away from her tummy but he hugged her tightly, "Good morning! What do you want for breakfast?" he greeted her with his morning hoarse voice.

She didn't move and answered him, "Can I have sweet tofu pudding and some steamed buns?"

His eyes widened in surprise, "You hated tofu, how come you want it for breakfast?" he took his arms under her head and he rested his own head on it instead, "You have changed a lot." He smiled and looked at her lovingly.

Her mood suddenly changed, "It's been 5 years. People change." She pushed his hand off her waist and stood up, "I have m.a.t.u.r.ed over the years." she went inside the bathroom without even glancing at him.

He stood up and followed her, "Well true, I did too. But since we sle—" he stopped realising what he was about to say. There is no way he will blow his secret to her, well at least, not yet, it was not on his menu today.

Ji An waited for what he was about to say next and when he didn't continue, she didn't hesitate to ask him, "Since what? You probably have a lot of girls who are after you or maybe you are after them!" She teased him but her heart felt a little pinch of bitterness and annoyance.

Cheng Ze walked towards her and rested his hands on her shoulders, "Ji An, you are the only one here," his voice was gentle and retracted one of his hands to point at his heart. "You go and get ready, I will take you out." he left her in the bathroom and head downstairs to prepare their breakfast.

They had their breakfast and she was waiting for Cheng Ze to come down. Originally Ji An didn't want to go out during her stay in Beijing but since she was with Cheng Ze, she just wanted to enjoy everything. After all, this is the last time she can enjoy moments with him.

He took her to Parkview Green Mall to watch a movie and took her shopping but she refused to buy stuff, her excuse was "I don't need it, I'm not here for long anyway." But Cheng Ze still bought her a Chanel white dress with a black bow and thought it would look good on her for their next date, he paired it with black Chanel stilettos, she would look nearly as tall as him. He even got her a Chanel Deauville wallet on a chain to pair with the dress and shoes, it was a limited edition too which made it pricey but he didn't mind, it's for the woman he loves plus he can afford it and it's worth it!. All of them were put in a bag and Cheng Ze carried it as Ji An left him to it, she clearly said no and he still bought them so she thought, he should carry it and wear them himself.

Before, whenever she says no, he wouldn't do it. If she told him to leave her alone, he would but now, he won't budge and he would stick next to her even if she pushed him away many times. If she said no, he would insist on it even though she gets mad.

They then ate their dinner at China Grill, there was a lot of people having dinner there. They sat next to the big floor to ceiling windows and had the best view of the unparalleled view of the Beijing landscape as it was situated on the top floor of a landmark building. It was perfect for them as it gave them the feeling of being on a date. Which both of them d.e.s.i.r.ed, especially her.

After their romantic dinner, Cheng Ze brought her to their last stop Tiffany & Co. He wanted to buy them couple rings to wear and got her a Tiffany T ring in 18k white gold with pavé diamonds and he got himself a Tiffany T ring in 18k white gold to match hers and had them engraved with the words "Forever in my ♡ GCZ" on her ring and "Forever in my ♡ LJA" on his ring. Due to her pregnancy, she was feeling tired and didn't bother with what he was doing, all she wanted to do was to go home and sleep.

It didn't take him long to have it engraved, he kept the ring on its box and placed it in the inside pocket of his coat. He wanted to give it to Ji An in the right moment, hoping that he will successfully stop her from leaving.

Inside the car, she slept like a log, Cheng Ze glanced at her and uttered, "I love you Ji An" he smiled and c.a.r.e.s.sed her face with one of his hand and continued to drive until they reached the villa.

He tried to carry her inside but she woke up. Once she got out of the car, he carried her bridal style and put her down once they reached the door. When they got in, he continued to carry her to their room and placed her on the bed and noticed that she was in deep slumber so he removed her shoes and he wanted to change her clothes into her pyjamas but she's really asleep and he doesn't really want to wake her up. He thought of undressing her so he lifted the blanket and saw her tummy, it's not how he remembered it, there was a small bump. "Did she ate a lot? Even so, we had dinner early. Her stomach should be flat by now." He touched her tummy out of curiosity and rubbed it gently. "Is she bloated?" he muttered.

Ji An suddenly opened her eyes and got startled by his action. "What are you doing?" She pushed his hand out and pulled the blanket to cover herself.

"I was gonna change your clothes. I figured you're not comfortable in them." He explained immediately as he doesn't want Ji An to misunderstand him.

"You're not thinking of undressing me right?" her brows furrowed and her face looked like she was ready to lash out on him.

He smirked and asked, "Are you full? Your belly is a bit off. I mean, like..." misunderstanding is the last thing he wanted to happen, he has to find the right word or else, she will definitely lash out on him, "Well... I noticed it in the hotel when you were getting dressed. I'm not quite sure what I'm talking about here but... are you okay? Is there something you are not telling me?"

"Hm? I think you need to sleep." she has to stop him from asking her things like that, "You're thinking too much Cheng Ze. I just ate a lot that's all. I'll go and get changed, you should too!" She stood up and left him to get changed. 'I think I should leave as soon as possible. He's starting to notice my baby bump, 4 more days.' She thought while getting changed.

When she opened the bathroom door, Cheng Ze was waiting for her. "You know we can always get the doctor here if you don't want to go to the hospital. I feel like there is something you're not telling me." The subject hasn't ended for him and he was still at it. He was really concerned and worried about her.

Ji An got a bit frustrated, "Cheng Ze you have to stop this! I'm okay alright! Seriously I'm fine! I'm all good!" she sighed out of frustration. "What is the plan for tomorrow?" Hoping that changing the subject will work.

And it did, "Do you want to go to the park and have some serene time with me? We'll have a picnic? How does that sound to you?" His smile was once again ear to ear like a child with his favourite candy.

Since it worked, she replied to him with a sweet but forced smile, "Sure! Sounds great." she then went to lie down in bed and as soon as she shut her eyes, she was fast asleep.

Cheng Ze went to the bathroom to have a shower, he doesn't want to sleep next to her unclean. When he came out, Ji An was already fast asleep. He just smiled and went to bed and hugged her.
