Chapter 20 - First day at the Xavier Institute

When me and Logan left Charles's office, we went down the hall towards the kitchen. Admiring the architecture and decor of the school, I feel like I was at Hogwarts. The interior design is modeled on an 18th-century palace. On the walls you can see many portraits and paintings with richly decorated frames. The floor has a red carpet with decorative patterns. Arranged vases around the corners, richly decorated benches for students to sit by the class.Hogwarts one hundred percent. Only their version of Hagrid is missing. Though. They have one blue hairy professor.Only instead of magic there are superpowers.

When the door from the office was closed, we headed towards the kitchen. At first a persistent awkward silence, however, was interrupted by Logan.Which accompanied us for a short moment.

(Logan)-Young. Are you hungry?

(Christian)-A little.

(Logan)-In that case, Let's go to the kitchen. We will prepare something for ourselves and we'll talk.

(Christian)-Good. Lead me in the kitchen. Greybeard.Hehehe

(Logan)-I'm not that old yet. Just call me Logan.

If you only knew ... Hehehehe ... you would say differently. It's funny that Logan is very old, so calling him an old man. I'm not mistaken. He is certainly older than every living Grandfather.

After a short walk we arrived at the kitchen. It was a well-equipped small kitchen. It was not a school kitchen, but rather one of many small kitchens for students. It makes sense because from what I could understand, near the kitchen in which we are now, there are academic rooms. Where some students live in the school. I think there may also be rooms for teachers. Because when I asked Logan what he said there are rooms. Nothing more, because that's when we entered this kitchen.

When we entered the kitchen, Logan immediately went to the fridge. The fridge was large, so it took him a while to find his "Drinks". They would get two bottles of dark beer out of the fridge and one pointed towards me.

(Logan)-You want to.

I took the bottle and answered.

(Christian)-With p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e. Just say Logan. They let you drink alcohol. It's a school.

Logan sipped his beer and answered.

(Logan)-Theoretically, no. But don't say anything to anyone.-then Logan smiled slightly in my direction.

(Christian)-You can count on me. I' m too like myself drink.-Then he took a large sip of beer. And I will say one thing. I haven't had a better beer in my life.

Logan, seeing my satisfaction with the taste of beer. Which was visible on my face. He said amused.

(Logan)-Now I see another similarity.Hehehe

After drinking a few beers, which still have little effect on us because of the regenerating factor. Which increases alcohol tolerance.

After talking about mundane topics. Which mainly concerned Charles and others. We started a conversation about Logan's past. It didn't take long because Logan didn't remember anything before a few years ago. his oldest memory was how he met Charles, though the memories were vague. I felt sorry for him, but when he asked me about my past. I repeated what I told Charles.

And before we looked in the fridge we ran out of alcohol and there were a lot of beer bottles on the table. I was just about to clean up when I heard footsteps coming from the corridor.

Logan walked to the door and leaned slightly. Then he immediately backed away and said.

(Logan)-Ororo is coming here. We have to clean it up.

I fell into a light panic, I didn't want to lose in her eyes.

When Logan was about to take the first bottle to clean up his hand, I stopped him with a hand gesture. And I said "wait"Then I directed my right hand towards the table. Then the hand began to give off a bright black and purple glow / fog. And then on the table under the bottles appeared a large portal on the whole table that will immediately absorb all the garbage. Then I opened the portal in one of the streets in which I was before and empty the contents there. A bit of littering but what's up.

Logan looked relieved and said.

(Logan)-Useful.

Then Ororo entered the kitchen.

(Ororo)-Here you are, I was curious where you went.

(Christian)-You know, I spent time with Logan. But now I am all yours.

Ororo blushed slightly on her face. It was hardly visible but her expression spoke for itself.

(Ororo)-Well ..... The professor asked me to lead you to your room.-With a slightly shaking voice

(Christian)-Sure.-I walked over to Ororo and turned to Logan-See you later, grandpa.

(Logan)-See you Young.

On the way to my room. Me and Ororo talked a while.Ororo told me what the rules are and what you mustn't do. Boredom, however, I did not interrupt her because she looked very cute at the same time.

After a short while we arrived at my room. But before we entered we talked.

(Ororo)-Here is your room.

(Christian)-I understand. Where is yours?

(Ororo)-.....Mine is opposite yours if you must know.Now let's go in.

Then we went to the room. It wasn't too big. There were large bed in the center and cupboard for clothes around it. It was a single room with a bedroom and bathroom so no wonder. Although it looked like a five-star hotel, when I finished looking at the room. Ororo headed for the door. I, however, turned and asked.

(Christian)-You won't stay.

(Ororo)-I have a few more things to do. But I will visit you later. See you then.-then she left

I then turned and lay down on the bed. I had nothing to do, so for now I decided to check the status.
