"What are you saying? How is he doing now? Any news?" Ni Chen heard about Lui and got worried for his safety.

After academy claimed about the recent project, the news spread in the academy.

Who was most worried for his safety, of course, his friends.

"He told me yesterday," Lie Mei voiced.

"Why did not you tell us?" Xu Rue asked.

"He said that he wanted to complete this project at any cost and if he told us friends, we might show our concerns and it would act on his will," Lie Mei knew very well, Lui wanted all of them to work hard and prove their worth with taking into consideration the hardsh.i.p.s.

"But this is little too much" Xu Rue spoke.

"He is always this careless and wanted to show off his superiority among us," Rim spoke crudely.

All they looked toward Rim.

"What are you saying, he is the one always boosting us friends and helping most of the time, did you forget the mart incident?" Ni Chen tried calm down Rim.

He thought that Rim was equally worried for him.

"What incident, it was all fault of extra starry Lui, because of him we faced insult," Rim sneered.

"Does he need to initiate fight with Gib?" he reasoned, "If we made others our enemy then we won't stay longer in this academy," he continued.

"It was not Lui who initiated the fight, Gib destroyed his project, he even tortured him to half death and threatened that he would use all means to throw us out of the academy, Lui is fighting back, because he don't fear Gib, tell me are you afraid of him?" this time Lie Mei did not keep quite.

Her words boiled the blood of other teen friends.

"What? He never told about it," Xu Rue was shocked.

"That was because he wanted us to face our enemy with our capability and study hard, and not slack anymore or else we might live in this world like c.o.c.kroaches," Lie Mei answered.

The friends heard and they were assured that Lui wanted their wellness.

Only Rim was not convinced.

It was true, Lui wanted to complete the project at any cost, he don't want to appear weak in front of his enemy, he wanted to stand on his ground firmly and that was impossible without showing right worth.

After he faced this world, his mind was clear, this world was not simple, nor friendly, if one was weak to face it one would perish in the history of time without leaving traces behind.

The blur memories of previous Lui was enough for him to understand this cruel fact.

As long as he faced his enemy with equal strength and struggle, his enemy can never defeat him.

"I am just saying, there is no bad point if we extend our hands for friendship toward Gib, I am sure he won't bother us again and we can live our lives peacefully," Rim changed his tone slightly.

Other friends looked at him as if they were looking at some stupid kid.

"What kind of peace you are talking about, to not work hard and live with ease? Man this is no more the place we used to wander and live in worry free, this place would eat you up if you dare slack around," Ni Chen furiously said.

He was angry because Rim was not ready to listen and understand simple logic of this world.

"But I already talked with Gib, he said he bear no more grudge against us," Rim spoke.

"He also said that if all of us apology him, because of our idle talk he forgot the words of magic which destroyed the Iceland," He reasoned.

"What… what kind of apology? And why we should apology? It was because of him that us friends suffered horrible destruction and more of that faced this world, for his mistake, he is blaming us, I would rather choose to die than to apology from such shameless," Xu Rue was fuming to hear Rim.

After many years, he happened to see the true face of this Rim, someone rightly said, a true friend was only tested in trial.

"You are taking me wrong," Rim protested.

"No, I caught you right," Xu spoke.

"You are only blaming me for the sake of Lui," Rim spoke as if he was wronged.

"This is for the sake of individual honor and respect that you perhaps lack," Ni Chen interrupted.

"Enough, stop taking side always, I am going to meet Gib," Rim shouted and left.

Other friends could not say a word.

They were just shocked.

How come Rim behave suddenly different?

They were already worried for Lui and now this Rim was going to gang up with their enemy.

If a snack said that it would not bite and poison, would one believe it?

"Write it down, once Gib is done with his cheap trick to separate the friends, he would bite Rim," Xu Rue spoke angrily while looking at his once friend, Rim who was going toward the second department.

"Why did you tell them that you befriended me?" he wanted to slap him but controlled himself.

Indeed, a clever enemy was better than a stupid friend.

"You should be happy, not? Why?" Rim could not understand why Gib was angry.

"You should not have told them about our friendship, this way you could have brought me valuable information, that would have helped us both," Gib spoke in low tone.

But what was the use to play flute in front of a cow? Yeah, it can only understand mix music in case you wanted extra liters of milk.

"I can go back and say that I did not come here, and I am feeling sorry for what I spoke earlier," Rim spoke to lessen the anger of his new friend.

Gib wide opened his eyes to hear this, exactly how many faces this Rim can change in a day?

He patted on his shoulder, "you are quite intelligent,"
