MicroTech: Academy Of Idiots

Chapter 77 - Fourth Ventura Theme

Fourth Ventura Theme

Lui was little stunned when they outlandishly invited him to join their group.

He was also bored to walk alone, as that was no fun. This part of the theme park was bizarre.

This part of the theme park was hosting a play with the masks on, and the audience was asked to volunteer a few of the candidates for the play. The group of students pushed Lui, and he was considered a candidate.

Lui couldn't react when all eyes were on him. So he was brought to the rear, and someone immediately put a red gown around him, and another Lui one gave a mask to wear.

Lui wore it, thinking that it was just a small act for the public. But the problem was with the one who was organizing the show, through this act he was going to get a surprise.

All the people who were acting in this theme park play were wearing the same clothes and masks, and no one could recognize who was behind the mask.

They were told to act, walk and move like a robot. The big stage was empty for a few moments, and a man was standing at the left side rehearsing the script. The actors were acting according to what they were instructed to enact.

"Ah! I thought it would be something unprecedented; it turned out to be trash," the student who pushed Lui forward as candidate lost his interest soon enough.

"But we can't leave without taking Lui with us. You already know his place in the Academy," another student stopped him from going away.

"Who inferred to push him?" the others angrily asked. They wanted to see another theme which was near, and the problem was who would recognize Lui among the same looking actors.

Lui was made to stand in a row just like the other actors. The first act had started. The first two actors pulled the third one from his neck and threw him on the ground, according to the script, he had committed a crime and had been found guilty.

The audience roared.

Lui critically saw those actors who were masked. The man standing on one side recounted the accusations, even their movements made them look like robots. The man who was pinned down was kneeling like a robot, and it seemed that the theme of the play was that a robot was given some job in some company. It committed a crime by stealing their personal information for another company. In the court, it was found guilty, and it would be sentenced soon, but what was the purpose of the other actors.

Were they standing here to listen to the verdict and never commit a crime in future? Lui was questioning himself a little puzzled by the acts. And soon enough, he got the answer. He was blamed for aiding and abetting the accused robot who was currently being pinned on the ground.

The accusation was to the point that the first robot was begging for mercy in the broken programmed language.

The playback voice was from the other side of the stage. It grabbed the attention of the audience. The students also listened and observed.

The accused robot put all the blame on the robot who aided him in committing the crime.

Two other actors stepped forward and grabbed Lui and brought in front of the audience when he was wearing the mask. Someone had told him to follow the movements of others, so he tried his best to follow during his act.

Still, he couldn't act like the professionals.

"Ah! This one, this one is Lui," the students immediately recognized Lui. They thought if the act moved a bit longer, they would just jump on the stage and bring back Lui.

They were eager to see some other parts of the theme park which was about some latest game and the characters were walking around. It was a holographic version of the characters, but it still grabs the attention of the teens.

This part of the theme park was newly designed, and the investor was yet to appear. All the plays performed on this stage were strictly related to robots and their workings; advantages and disadvantages to having a pet robot and so forth…

The topics were endless.

Robots were considered the second population of this world, so do their workings and fields. They walk around like humans; they buy groceries, they mop the floor, put on announcements on the entertainment shows, and they host the president in a face to face question and answer session.

It would be strange if someone lived in this world and hasn't encountered any robot in his daily life. So the owner of the theme park granted permission to perform this particular theme regarding robots.

Lui was also made to kneel in front of the judge who was also a robot, the movements of the other actors were so lissome that it looked like he had been trapped by the robot court intentionally.

The atmosphere was very solemn as the actors were very apt in delivering their acts. The one who was narrating the script didn't err the lines. Also, the actors executed the right movements according to the voice.

The audience was eager to listen, what would be the helper's excuse now.

The other students and their instructors were doing fine and riding their favorite rides, some even puked out during rides.

It was disgusting for crowd of the people around, who let these teens ride alone, where were their parents, they only stop to see the instructor who was glaring for not considering they could ride or not and bought the ticket.

Ventura Theme park was famous for its gravity bound rounded ride, it was enough to numb the brain and whoever ride would lost the concept of gravity yet it was horrible for those who did not experience it before, it was simply hellish torture to go through.

But there were those who were happy to take the ride of this again and again.

It was like a spinning in a large bowl but more intense.
