Fourth Ventura Theme (part 9)

"Where is the device?" Lui asked in hurry. 

"We put it on the backside of the reception desk," they thought that this way they would be able to leave safely and after some time return with the excuse that they forgot their device on the gaming place. 

It was childish idea, they could have dump it somewhere else but why the same place? 

Lui shook his head, he cannot blame them. 

"We have to get the device back first," Lui announced and it made the leader fell in deliberation whether this genius wanted to help them and send them right in front of the staff. 

He has reason to do so. 

The leader and the other pushed him on the stage and he barely escaped death, probably he was thinking to equal the score by doing the same. 

"Why do you wanted to bring the device back?" still he asked with some tiny hope lingering in his mind. 

Lui patted his shoulder, "By getting device, we will be saved from any suspicion, the only thing is to dismantle the device's IP chip*" Lui explained. 

The leader nodded, he did understand a little bit not entirely. 

By shutting off the device, they only did a temporary solution. 

If the chip was dismantled then no one can tell which device was used in this process no matter how learned were the developers, they cannot search in short time and in long time, the gang would be able to clean out all the traces. 

"Hell, the device is put near the third desk to confuse the developers," the leader wanted to slap himself, it was his idea, he wanted the commotion to die down. 

And till then the developers would remain in confusion, the plan was solid in his brain but actually it was raw and could turn the tables, if the staff or presenters happened to find the device they can dig out all the information regarding the device, the owner and what was done through it. 

It was equal to leave intentional evidence after the crime. 

Lui looked at them one by one and stood silent for some time. 

He wanted to clap for the intelligence of the troublemakers, how they were not given punishment until now, perhaps because of their sincerity for each other? Lui was forced to think this way. 

Now they were in dangerous situation, if they made any movement, everyone would look at them and they will be center of attention. 

It was impossible to crawl toward the third desk when all the eyes were following the smallest gesture and move. 

Lui did not bring any device with him, simply he don't think that it was necessary and his instructor was aware which student brought which device, it was all for security. 

Now the leader was at the stake, he used his own device and Yao also used his digital device. 

One was used for secondary operations while second was used for actual codes and hotfixes. 

A solid proof that they committed the crime.

Ten minutes were passed and the crowd was getting restless now, they were standing like criminals and the staff was only giving excuses, in such situation, people often show less patience. 

"Why don't you just that by accusing this you wanted to abuse a crowd, already ten minutes have passed, if the real problem has arisen and the staff found it then why they are not proceeding further investigation, don't tell me that the developers are unprofessional noobs to find it until now?" a businessman came here with his wife and teenage kid, his kid wanted to visit this part of the theme and they ended up being accused. 

It was simply disgusting. 

"I am sorry sir for the inconvenience," the girl staff came forward and apologized. 

"I am giving you ten more minutes because the accusation is not joke and if you could not provide the evidence, I will sue your company for harassment," the businessman gave warning. 

The friends who left this part were waiting outside, they did not dare to walk around and the instructor might find them and ask about others. 

The girl staff went back, she herself was sweating with the fear of threat.

How come the secondary system did not get any warning about it?" one of the developer asked the girl, she was standing at the second desk and secondary system was under her observation. 

The girl staff was left agape, she has not much experience in this field yet and only three months ago she joined this company. 

The developer saw her expressions and went to check the secondary system. 

He checked the hidden files and threats and sure enough, there was warning given for full thirty seconds. 

The girl was standing there and when the developer pointed, she stepped back, their reputation and name was on stake and the staff has such irresponsible attitude toward the company's tasks. 

The girl staff could not say for excuse, it would considered another mistake when the seniors were already boiling. 

Whoever did this and created a long half an hour jolt for the files must be made hacker, the developer shook his head and thought to talk with the crowd. 

He could let most of them leave the place after small investigation and would stop only those who looked suspicious. 

He announced and the group felt the lingering trouble, if most of people left the place then they would never be able to get the device, and if they left it here then it was equal to leave a paper written on it the name of the criminal and the way he committed the crime, moreover with a contact to reach the criminal.
