The arrow Melissa fired dropped to the ground hitting none of them but immediately raining sounds followed as thousands of arrows fell from the sky.

Alex and as still in the midst of the ghouls when he heard Melissa's voice and quickly moved to the side where he had cover from the trees around.

Most of the ghouls attacked Alex while some dashed towards the rest of them.

"I also forgot she was powerful" Lynx mumbled as the arrows rained down.

The arrows were nothing special except for their numbers, all they did was reduce the ghoul's HP and trap some of them but more than 50 were still rushing towards them.

"Allow me to take this shift," Gabriel said as he stepped in front of them and took a deep breath, what Alex said was true, now that they were in this world, their powers were theirs to control and manipulate at will.

[Fireball]

With the magic boost Gabriel took his fireball increased but that wasn't the end, Gabriel stretched his hands again towards his fireball concentrating on the spell.

The large fireball separated into twenty different smaller fireballs and each of them shot 20 different ghouls.

"What that!! this level of control!!"

"Gabriel when did you... learning curve" Max didn't complete his sentence when the fireball hit their target.

Half of the flames missed their target while the other half barely hit their target, only about 6 of the fireball successfully hit their target.

'I didn't expect to perfect it but the flames are too hard to control and I exhausted all my Mana' Gabriel mumbled under his breath.

Max dashed towards the ghouls as soon as they closed in and Lynx used his normal flintlock to kill one of the ghouls before they get close. After every 30 seconds, he would switch his weapons so he could kill more of them.

Rebecca didn't do a single thing except hiding behind Melissa, Melissa on the other hand dealt with any ghoul that gets too close to her, her bow also served as a sword cutting through the necks of the ghoul.

"I...have never...worked this much...in my entire life," Max said panting.

The rest of them were in the same condition as Max, they were all tired after killing all of the ghouls, the ghouls they killed were more than 100 and they didn't include Alex's kills.

Alex looked at their stats as he walked towards them, Rebecca was the only one being left behind, Max and Lynx would soon level up to 20 and Melissa was still at level 40.

Alex gained an additional 13,000 XP to his current XP and this was how his stats looked like.

"Alex you like to do reckless things, what if you got yourself killed?" Gabriel shouted.

"I'm really sorry, I was just filled with strength earlier, I thought you guys would leave so I wasn't worried till I heard Melissa's voice," Alex said.

"You weren't worried when you heard my voice, wait you thought we couldn't take care of ourselves," Melissa said with her eyes wide open.

"No I didn't say that, I'm just glad you are alright," Alex said as he sat down, now that he was done fighting the pain in his leg came back.

"What's wrong with Rebecca?" Alex asked as he saw her sitting down with her head down.

"Lynx apologize, you made her like this!!" Max said.

"Huh!! how is that my fault" Lynx shouted.

"I'm really sorry, I couldn't do anything, I was too scared," Rebecca said, she was already crying.

"You are a healer, your work isn't to attack and we'll never tell you to attack, you just need to stay behind us while we do all the attacking," Alex said.

"No need, I'm going to stay in the city from now on," Rebecca said.

"You are going to keep coming with us because we need you, without a healer around we won't be able to make fight properly, but with you around we can go all out knowing that even if we get injured you would heal us," Alex said.

"What!! I thought..." Rebecca mumbled.

"No need to think, it's okay to be scared, but you are not alone," Melissa said.

"Also I'm sorry for saying those things, I was just afraid of losing someone," Lynx said.

"Uhhmmm, I have a skill," Rebecca said in a low voice.

"A skill? What skill?" Melissa asked, Rebecca stood up and walked towards Alex.

The rest of them stared at her as she took the clothing off Alex's legs and placed her hands on his leg.

A green light shone on her hands and covered Alex's leg, Alex felt a cool sensation enveloping his legs and at the same time, his wound was closing up.

Rebecca removed her hands from his leg and his injury was gone, the knife wound wasn't deep and Rebecca's first skill was lower Regeneration.

The skill allows her to fully heal or regenerate lost limbs but on a small scale, she could regenerate a lost finger but she couldn't regenerate a lost arm.

"I wanted to tell you guys but you were too busy," Rebecca said.

"You can heal without your cane, does it have a cool down time?" Alex asked.

"Cool down time?" Rebecca asked.

"Can you use the skill repeatedly or do you have to wait for some time? That's what cool down means" Max said.

"I didn't see any cool down time, but the skills can't do much, the wound wasn't too deep that's why," Rebecca said.

"We really need to find a way to level her up, her next skill would be more powerful," Gabriel said.

"You are right, we can get her a level boost potion, but that would require a lot of work," Melissa said.
