Monster Apocalypse: Pokemon Online

Ava and Israel made their way into a forest as they walked away from the starting grounds. A text appeared in their vision that stated:

[You Have Entered Zeilo Forest]

The overhanging trees provided lots of shade and their vision immediately began to become obscured. The lush green plants and trees blocked their way, as there was no clear path through the forest. Small beams of light managed to pierce to the leaves of the trees providing them with enough visibility to see.

They walked forward, and both Israel and Ava entered stealth. It was one of the two basic abilities for assassins at Level 1, [Backstab] being the other.

[Stealth Level 1] -Increases a user's ability to hide and be undetectable by 10%. Breaks once the user initiates an attack. Enemies with higher levels can detect the user easier.

[Backstab Level 1] -Increases the damage the user does to opponents when attacking them from behind by 5%

Every Level up you gain one skill point that you can place into your skills. Israel placed his skill point into [Backstab], and Ava placed hers into [Stealth], both of them going to Level 2 in their respective skill.

Ava did not need more damage at the moment because she had her own ice ability that already did a lot of extra damage.

As they stealthed through the forest they came upon a group of Pokemon that were together seemingly conversing. There were three different types of pokemon that were huddled together.

One of them was Bipedal, had a red and yellow body and black antennae. The other two were both similar to caterpillars with one being green and have a red antenna and the other being a tan-ish color and having a mean-looking horn on its head.

Ava giggled as she looked at the Pokemon, she pointed towards one of them while nudging Israel in his arm. "Look at its nose! It's huge!".

The Pokemon she was pointing at was called Weedle, and it did indeed have a big red nose.

Looking above the heads of the tree pokemon he saw their Health Bar and their names. The health bar had no numbers, but you can still see a monster's health from how full it is, and whether or not its on red yellow or green. Players also have a health bar like this.

Of the four pokemon that where there the Weedle was the highest level, and the other three were the same level as Israel and Ava.

Ava and Israel made up a game plan before they split up in opposite directions circling around the group of Pokemon.

When they both made a full half-circle around the group and were on opposite sides of each other they sprung in to attack.

On Ava's side was the Weedle, and the Kricketot. While Israel's had the two Caterpies. Israel delayed his attack a bit, so all of the Pokemon's attention was focused on Ava who had just stabbed the Kricketot in the back.

When all the pokemon turned towards Ava and began attacking her Israel came out and jumped towards the Caterpie. He slashed downwards with his dagger and stabbed it in the back of its head causing it to reel in pain.

All these pokemon were about the hight of Israel's knees, so he had to bend low to attack them just like the Sunkern.

As Ava's dagger was pierced inside the Kricketot the Weedle turned towards her and its horn glowed purple and it shot out towards her piercing through the air aimed straight towards her body. Ava did not have time to dodge and it struck her in her left rib as she screamed in pain.

Israel cussed as he drew his dagger out of the Caterpie who's health had fallen into yellow and he charged towards the Weedle. The other Caterpie at this time looked into the sky as webs began to shoot out of its mouth and cover the area they were fighting in.

Israel stabbed towards the Weedle's eye, but it maneuvered its head causing him to miss and instead pierce its body. It screeched in pain as it began to tumble around on the ground with Israel chasing after it slowed by the webs the Caterpie was shooting.

Ava quickly pulled out her dagger before Swifty shoving back inside the Kricketot causing it to burst into particles with a screech. Her dagger coated in Ice looked extra menacing as she charged at the Caterpie that sprayed webs out of its mouth.

Israel wrestled the Weedle to the ground and managed to stab it two more times causing it burst into particles of light. And before he even got to take a sigh of relief he was rammed in the side by the Caterpie he stabbed earlier and g.r.o.a.n.e.d as his health fell down to yellow.

He quickly grabbed his dagger before finishing off the Caterpie that was tackling him gasping for breath from the strenuous exercise. He looked around and saw Ava also gasping for breath as she sat down on the floor next to him.

"That stupid insect injured you!" Ava said as she looked towards the loot on the ground with a menacing glare.

"Yes, I killed it though so stop glaring at my coins!" Israel said with a smile. "How is your wound?" he asked, his voice becoming a bit more solemn. He was worried because the first attack that Weedle did looked like it did a lot of damage.

"Yeah that [Poison Sting] really hurt, but luckily I was not poisoned from it," Ava said as she looked at her rib.

"Yeah, this is what it's like in the Wastelands, always fighting for your life," Israel said with his eyes slightly glossed over.

He felt a hug and Ava said "You are with me now! No one will harm you, and we can get your revenge". Ava had a clue about what happened in his past from some of the stuff he told her, but she did not know everything.

"Thanks, Ava," Israel said with a smile before he stood up and picked up the loot from the Pokemon placing it all in his bag.
