Morbid Addiction

       When he returned home, Chen Yuncheng opened the door and saw that the light in the living room had been switched off, leaving only the kitchen and bedroom with lights on.

       He walked lightly to the side of the sofa and saw Long Zhanyu resting on a pillow, covered with a thin quilt, already fast asleep. Then he walked gently towards the kitchen.

       Ning Junyan was washing dishes in the kitchen.

       Chen Yuncheng walked up to him and said to him, “I’ll continue, you go and take a shower first.”

       Ning Junyan didn’t stop what he was doing. He just turned his head to look at Chen Yuncheng, and said, “You go and shower first.”

       Chen Yuncheng looked at him, “Then I will stay here with you.”

       Ning Junyan did not object and said in a flat tone, “Then let’s shower together.”

       Chen Yuncheng subconsciously glanced in the direction of the living room outside. He thought that there was still a guest at home, and although it looked like the guest had fallen asleep; if the guest woke up and saw them, he would be embarrassed. So he hesitated and said, “I’d better go shower first. “

       When Ning Junyan returned to the room after taking a shower, it was already very late. When he entered the room, he casually locked the door behind him.

       Chen Yuncheng hadn’t slept yet. He lay on the bed and flipped through the book that Ning Junyan had left next to the pillow, but didn’t read a single word.

       Ning Junyan took off his shoes and went to bed, knelt on the bed like a hunting beast and slowly approached Chen Yuncheng until he was completely pressed under him.

       Chen Yuncheng was crushed for a moment and couldn’t move, pretending to struggle, “You are going to crush me to death.”

       Ning Junyan grabbed his neck in one bite.

       Chen Yuncheng was bitten so painfully by him, he shook his head and said, “It hurts! The next second Ning Junyan loosened his teeth, turned his head sideways and kissed Chen Yuncheng’s lips.

       He was pinned down until he was breathless, Chen Yuncheng ducked behind and said, “Not tonight.”

       Ning Junyan’s straight nose rubbed against Chen Yuncheng’s cheek, “I’m on duty tomorrow.”

       Chen Yuncheng said, “There is still a guest outside.”

       “He fell asleep.”

       “He might wake up.” The soundproofing of this house was average, and Chen Yuncheng really could not guarantee whether Long Zhanyu, who was on the sofa outside, would hear anything through the door when he woke up.

       Ning Junyan’s tone couldn’t have been flatter, “Then let him listen.”

       “Don’t make trouble,” Chen Yuncheng was really crushed to the point where he was almost out of breath and struggled hard to turn over.

       Only then did Ning Junyan lie sideways next to him, giving him the opportunity to close the book he had just pressed under his chest and put it to one side, and turn over on his back to lie on the bed.

       “He was too drunk,” Ning Junyan said without any emotion. Chen Yuncheng didn’t know whether he was happy or not.

       Chen Yuncheng raised his arm and pillowed it under his head, “He’s under too much pressure from work, I guess, and probably needs to relax a bit.” He thought of Long Zhanyu’s state, working hard all year round, and there was only one person at home, and his life was a mess.

       Ning Junyan suddenly reached out and gently covered his eyes.

       “What’s the matter?” Chen Yuncheng pulled his hand away.

       Ning Junyan was unhappy, “You are thinking about him.”

       Chen Yuncheng looked at him, suddenly smiled, and said, “Didn’t you talk about him first?”

       Ning Junyan denied it expressionlessly, “I didn’t.”

       For a moment, Chen Yuncheng felt that he and Ning Junyan were back in their childhood, lying on the big wooden bed in the old house. He reached out and pinched Ning Junyan’s nose, and said with a smile, “You didn’t? It’s you.”

       Ning Junyan looked down at him, and after a moment of silence said, “Well, it’s me.”

       Chen Yuncheng felt very happy at once. He wrapped his arms around Ning Junyan’s neck, pulled him closer and kissed his lips, and whispered, “I like you so much.”

       After a while, Chen Yuncheng suddenly said, “How about introducing a girlfriend to Long Zhan Yu, is there any young female doctors or nurses who are mainly interested in looks when dating?”

       Ning Junyan replied casually, “How do I know?” He glanced at Chen Yuncheng, “Why didn’t you ask for Guan Anlin?”

       “Guan Anlin is still young, wait two years, let him save money and buy a house. Long Zhanyu is different, he has a house and is a civil servant, so it should be easier.”

       Ning Junyan looked at him and said nothing.

       Chen Yuncheng asked him with a smile, “What are you looking at me for?”

       Ning Junyan said, “You worry too much.”

       Chen Yuncheng did worry about a lot of things. He had been like this since he was a child, and he couldn’t change it anymore, he asked Ning Junyan, “Am I annoying?”

       Ning Junyan replied, “It’s okay, I’ll love you enough.”

       When Chen Yuncheng was about to go to bed, he went out to the living room to take a look and saw that Long Zhanyu was still sleeping soundly, and the quilt was well covered. He then came back to the bedroom and closed the door gently.

       The next morning, Ning Junyan was going to work, and his alarm clock sounded early in the morning. He reached out to find his mobile phone and turned off the alarm clock. He held Chen Yuncheng in his arms and had no intention of getting up.

       Chen Yuncheng shook his hand and said, “You’re gonna be late for work.”

       Ning Junyan remained motionless.

       Chen Yuncheng felt that he was born to worry about others, so he reached out and patted Ning Junyan’s face lightly, “Get up.”

       Ning Junyan closed his eyes, and said in a low and slurred voice, “Call me husband.”

       Chen Yuncheng couldn’t help laughing, “Aren’t you annoying? It’s none of my business if you get scolded by your director for being late.” Even if he could accept that Ning Junyan called him wife, he couldn’t call him husband no matter what.

       Ning Junyan lifted the quilt a little annoyed and got out of bed. He opened the closet, took out a clean shirt and trousers, put the shirt on, sat on the edge of the bed and put on his trousers, buttoning his trousers while going outside.

       Chen Yuncheng stopped him, “Get dressed before you go out, there is still a guest outside.”

       Ning Junyan stopped in his tracks as if he just remembered that there was someone sleeping on the sofa in the living room, and he said to Chen Yuncheng, “Come and button it for me.”

       Chen Yuncheng looked at him for a while, pushed back the quilt and got up, knelt on the bed and reached out to him, “Come here.”

       Ning Junyan walked over, and Chen Yuncheng carefully helped him button up his shirt one by one, and also zipped up his unzipped trousers, and patted him with a smile.

       At this moment, the bedroom door was suddenly opened from the outside before Chen Yuncheng could take back his hand from Ning Junyan’s lower body, and the people inside and outside were all stunned for a moment.

       Long Zhanyu’s hair was dishevelled, and when he saw this scene, he subconsciously said, “fvck!” He then hurriedly apologised and reached out to close the door to the room.

       He didn’t mean to. He lay on the sofa and slept until dawn. He was really woken up by the need to urinate, and he stumbled up from the sofa, trying to find the bathroom. Originally, it was also the first time he came to Chen Yuncheng’s house yesterday, and he was not familiar with the location of the room, so he opened a door straight away before he sobered up from his hangover, and he ended up seeing the host’s family making out and flirting.

       Long Zhanyu stretched out his hand to press his forehead, his mind went blank for a moment before he felt the urge to urinate again and hurriedly turned to find the bathroom.

       When Long Zhanyu came out of the bathroom, he met Ning Junyan who was about to go in. When he saw Ning Junyan, he remembered the scene just now. He couldn’t help being a little embarrassed, but he concealed it well and nodded as a greeting.

       Ning Junyan looked calm, said “Morning”, passed Long Zhanyu and went into the bathroom.

       Long Zhanyu went back to the sofa and sat down, covered his face with his hands, raised his head and yawned, and didn’t put his hands down for a long time.

       Until Chen Yuncheng came out and asked him, “Do you want to sleep a little longer or go out for breakfast with me?”

       Long Zhanyu put down his hands and said, “Not sleepy anymore, let’s go eat.” After finishing speaking, he raised his head towards the bathroom, “What about you…?”

       Chen Yuncheng replied, “He goes to work early and goes to the hospital to eat.”

       Long Zhanyu nodded.

       Before Ning Junyan left, he kissed Chen Yuncheng’s lips.

       Long Zhanyu saw it but pretended he didn’t see anything. When he sat down with Chen Yuncheng in a small restaurant outside and waited to eat rice noodles, he asked Chen Yuncheng, “If I ask you a question about personal relationships, will you feel offended?”

       Chen Yuncheng held the chopsticks in his hand, and replied, “You can just ask, I don’t need to answer if I feel offended.”

       Long Zhanyu nodded, “When did you find out that you like men?”

       Chen Yuncheng thought for a while and said, “When I met him.”

       Long Zhanyu continued to ask, “Then before you met him, did you watch movies of men or women?”

       Chen Yuncheng did not answer.

       Long Zhanyu finally said, “Sorry, I asked too many questions.”
