My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 24 - 24: Power Of Bad Omens

They stood for a long time, held their breaths, and stared at each other's eyes. Sebastian slowly walked nearer to her yet, he halted one meter away from Halora

"She's my cousin," spoke Sebastian and defended himself from her judgment.

But, why did she thought of something else? "I–it's fine! I... I mean..., I mean you don't ha–have to explain everything to me!" She replied, stuttered and ashamed.

He replied coldly, "But why did you ran away?"

Halora was taken aback by his question. He was right, he spotted the right angle.. Why did she turn her back suddenly? That was the big problem.

Halora giggled, denied and tried to escape from the reality. She took a step, "I... I need to go back to the classroom! We have still classes!"

She told him nicely enough for her but for the bad boy, it was not an acceptable alibi. Sebastian gritted his teeth, looked at her eyes but she was too persistent.

She gulped, earned a lot of courage to run away from him..., again.

"Do it and you will never imagine what I'm capable of doing things!" His eyes changed, his fingernails transformed, his ears became pointed.

Halora noticed few changes in him, but she shook her head, rubbed her eyes, and blinked thousands of times. "Yo–your e–ears!"

"Please stop it! Y–you're making me afraid of you!" Tears flew to her cheeks, listened to her loud heartbeat, and took steps backward.

Sebastian came back to his senses as she recognized her sad, frightened face. He quickly grabbed her hand and encircled her around in his arms.

Seb held his breath, felt the tenderness, and took a long sigh. "I...I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you," He whispered, rubbed her back gently with his warm hands.

"Zenith is my cousin. I repeat, she is my cousin, nothing more and nothing less. Do you believe in me, don't you?"

For thousands of students, Halora was the lucky one. She captured the campus bad boy's attention with her natural kindness and simple beauty.

She has no reasons to feel bad about it, yet, after all, her heart jumped out in great happiness when he said about his relationship with Zenith.

She felt the fresh air, coming from the trees all around the campus. Halora quickly pushed him when she saw Mrs. Lee.

"Come with me! Hurry up!" Sebastian commanded promptly.

"What? Wait, you have to go back to your room!" She told him but, he shut his mouth up and grabbed her arms.

"Hold me tightly," He whispered and brought her to the library as nothing happened in the middle of the hallway.

Halora quietly followed behind him, covered her face with her long, ginger–red hair. "Hey! Why did you bring me here?"

He walked closer to the bookshelves, touched every edge of the books, and searched for his favorite author.

"Shh, sit down." He commanded, picked two books out of it, and put them on the table which has made her surprised.

Mathematics and English books? She narrowed her eyes on him, took one of the books, and opened it.

There was nothing new for her. Numbers, variables, formulas, everything was just normal, ordinary, and simple as Halora's life.

For a moment, she looked at the boy who looked for more books. He was serious until he found two more books in English and Mathematics.

"After recess, we will be going back to your room. I don't want to be a bad influence, just like what everyone else always saying!"

"Wh–what are we going to do with these books?"

Sebastian chuckled loudly enough for the librarian to bell the ring once. "Silence, please!"

She quickly put her index finger on her lip and convinced him to zip his mouth. "I told you, we don't belong to this kind of a quiet place," Halora murmured, chuckled secretly, and flipped the pages gracefully.

There was no one else in the library. Just the two of them and the librarian who accidentally looked into their way.

She was amazed at how Halora spoke to the campus bad boy. She looked like an angel who was sent from the above. Not just to change his life, but to bring genuine happiness to him.

"Sarah would be very proud of her son!" She took a picture of them and sent it to Sarah Woo, Sebastian's mother.

She was smiling genuinely while he looked deeply into her eyes, shocked and amazed by her cleverness.

"Wow! You are such a wonderful teacher! Why don't you come to my place and be my tutor? I will tell my parents about it."

He understood simple statistics and probabilities when she taught him some of the easiest ways and strategies. He listened to her attentively like he never did before.

Both of their lives changed. Their fate, destiny, and future contradicted what they should be.

A rich, campus bad boy with a hidden identity and a poor girl who lived by herself since her parents died many years ago.

How would they fight against their faith when it was written thousands of years ago.

"See you at the garden after class," Sebastian reminded her, stood straight like a model. "Don't forget it, or I will bite you!" He added and ran away from her.

Halora couldn't get rid of the thought of him earlier in the library. He looked too adorable, an ideal type of boyfriend but impossible to fall inlove with her.

She gulped and afraid to go back to her seat. The more she tried to act normally, the more it became complicated and apparent to her classmates.

The moment she was seated, Roy poked her back and gave her a hamburger. "Here. I know you're hungry,"

She was hesitant to accept it, but Roy convinced her. "Come on! What friends are for, if you won't accept it?"

"You are right," she paused. "To be honest, I forgot to eat breakfast, and oh!"

"What's wrong?" Roy asked her, opened the bottle of water. "Drink it,"

Halora endured the pain. She felt dizzy and weak. Her vision turned blurry as it became difficult for her to recognize the boy in front of her.

"Wh–what are y–you doing! Why are you forcing me to drink a bottle of bl--blood?" She strangely asked her but Roy shook his head back and forth.

"Bl–blood? What are you talking about Haside?" He closed it and put it aside. Until he saw a woman in black, stood in front of their classroom with a broomstick.

Little did he knew, Halora was unconscious and hypnotized by the woman in black.

But, what is the reason behind the woman's sudden manifestation? And who is she? What is her relationship with Halora as she kept on following her?

Would she help Halora to discover her parents' real death or she would be the reason for her sudden disappearance from the La Milanosa Academy?
