My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 60 - 60: Fasten Your Seat Belt

A wide, almost perfect place for dead people lightened up by the hot, yet bright, sunny daylight. The surroundings were filled with big, tall trees, flowers, and graves.

Halora seated into the grass nearby to her parents' tombs. She brought flowers and a bottle of perfume for them as her gift.

She has still time before the scheduled flight with Roy. At that moment, Halora wiped out the dried leaves and dust that covered her parents' names.

"How are you mom and dad? It's been a while since the last time I came here to talk with you about my life after your death."

The perk of being an orphan was not easy to deal with. Struggles and hardship gauged Halora's faith for how many years to survive. She accepted the bitter taste of truth that she was bound to be abandoned by the people who genuinely cared for her.

Fake laughter echoed around the cemetery, bringing the old memories back to life again. "I... I almost forgot that today is your death anniversary but thanks to the butterflies that reminded the two of you."

She crossed her legs, took a deep, heavy breath until the tears shone to her eyes. "I missed you so much and how I hope the two of you are still alive and living with me in our house! B– bu–" Halora sobbed, swallowed the same feelings, a year ago. Until her gaze stuck on her wristwatch, "I... I have to go by now! Guide and protect me mom and dad, I'll visit here once I get home next week."

Halora bid goodbye to the graveyards of her parents. She stood, took a deep, heavy breath as the cold, frigid wind blew up her long, red hair.

From then on, she turned around, carried the luggage away from the peaceful cemetery. The place seemed like a sanctuary for the dead as it was built by the government.

However, as she took steps closer to the parkway, Halora stopped and held her chest tightly. She sobbed, crumpled her shirt for a couple of minutes.

Even how hard she tried to bury the agony inside of her heart, it flaunted effortlessly. It came out without her knowledge anytime and anywhere.

But while she was sobbing silently under the bright, glorious sky, a black, luxurious car stopped in front of her. It shone like a diamond and there was no trace of dust nor dirt on it.

Surprisingly, Halora quickly wiped out the tears from her eyes and face. She gasped, bowed her head, and looked upon her shoes.

"I've been calling you," spoke the man who came out from the passenger's seat. He wore a black jacket, a white shirt underneath matched with black rubber shoes, and sunglasses.

"S– Se– Sebastian? Why are you here?" Halora stuttered, surprised by his sudden arrival out of the busy, crowded highway. "You've been–been calling me? But I didn't hear my phone ringing earlier!"

He furrowed his brow, slid his hands inside of his pocket, and replied, "Why don't you check your phone."

A sarcastic yet straight-to-the-point suggestion urged her to bow her head and searched for the cellular phone. Halora touched her pocket yet, she didn't find it.

"Wait! I think I put it inside of my bag!" She began to panic while he remained calm. Yet, she had found nothing but only important things she brought and needed. Halora looked at him nervously enough to catch his attention. "I– I am sorry but I forgot to bring it with me earlier! I thought I already put my phone inside of my bag!"

Embarrassed and guilty, Halora looked away from his meaningful gaze. He took a heavy sigh, stared at her for a second. "Never mind about it, just come with me now!"

"B– but I haven't eaten yet, a– and I must stay with R– Roy, right?" She asked, clasped her hands until Sebastian grabbed her arms without even a single word. "Hey, can you tell me what's going on? I... I am confused about your actions."

Halora turned her gaze at the man who stood outside of the car. She recognized him yet, she couldn't still understand even a small thing.

"Get inside now, Young Lady. Any moment from now, you will be leaving with Young Master."

"With yo– young m– ma– master? Why did you call him young master?"

Greg gulped, looked at the young man who gave him a signal. He then shook his head back and forth with a short smile on his lips, "I used to call him that way since then." He said, opened the door for her, "Get inside now, Halora."

Despite the doubts she felt, Halora nodded her head and entered into the passenger's seat next to Sebastian. She looked confused, eager to know more about but no one started a conversation.

"We are leaving now," spoke Greg who started the engine.

He looked through the mirror and saw Sebastian staring at the girl beside him. He then cleared his throat that caught the young master's attention.

"Eyes on the road, Greg." He said, gulped when he noticed that she forgot to fasten the seatbelt.

Without a doubt, he stooped, fastened the seatbelt, and held his breath for a second. Out of the blue, Halora widened her eyes, smelled his fresh, minty breath, and listened to the sound of his heart.

"S– Seb!" She whispered to his ears like a piece of sweet music that soothed his soul and mind. "You should have told me to do that!" She told him but Sebastian looked through the window and secretly smiled widely.

To hide the smile on his lips, he gulped looked at her way with coldness in his eyes. He said, "Next time, don't you ever forgot to do that thing before leaving. I don't know how long I can protect and save you from the danger."

He sounded like a cold yet protective boyfriend who only hoped for his girlfriend's safety. "Don't look at me that way, Halora. You're teasing a gentle beast." He reminded Halora that made her swallowed her saliva greedily.
