My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 63 - 63: At Manosa Hotel

After almost three hours of waiting, Sebastian and Halora arrived at the Insilen Airport. They quickly went to the departure department as they needed to get to the hotel on time or else, they will be staying in ine place for a night.

But because it was Halora's first time, she walked like a zombie who had no strength and enthusiasm in her face anymore. She looked drained, exhausted, and surprised by the breathtaking scenery around her.

There was no Greg at all to help and assist them to the said hotel. The only thing they have was a piece of paper, the hotel's name, and address.

"Stay here for a while, I'll just be asking about the hotel's location," Sebastian told her to wait for him.

"Be careful!" She shouted at him. She stood outside of the airport premises while Sebastian went to the front desk and asked few questions.

She caressed her full stomach, closed her eyes, and savored the cold, soothing wind. "Ugh, I can't still believe that I am finally in this sacred place! Sad thing that I forgot to bring my phone with me! For sure, Roy is too worried until this moment."

Excitement, disappointment were drawn to her face as she couldn't find a way to contact Roy. She was not familiar with the place and she promised Sebastian to stay at the spot where he left her.

Until she thought of an idea rigorously. "What happened? Did you gather enough information about the a dress of the hotel?"

She hoped for the good news but his expression indicated the other way around. "Y– yes, t– they told me to use GPS to locate the place."

Even though she felt something bizarre, Halora tilted her head as she gulped and looked intently into his eyes. He seemed relaxed, cool as if he knew every narrow path in the place.

"Carry your things, I already called a taxi to send us to the hotel. For sure, Roy and Sandra are waiting for us right now." He looked at her eyes for a second that was unexpected for Halora.

Aside from being the campus bad boy, he was a little bit harsh and arrogant. He was neither a sweet nor a gentleman type of guy who would have asked a girl who was in need.

Silently, Halora carried her things with the strength left within. Her body wanted to rest, to regain back her energy before they start with different activities tomorrow.

Finally, she was seated at the passenger's seat next to him. He was too quiet since the moment they left earlier which bother her the most.

But Halora knew that they lived in the same universe but a different worlds and kinds of life. She then enjoyed the view, the rice fields along the way, the green, blooming trees surrounded by elongated flowers, and different signage related to agriculture and nature.

She never knew that in the modern, advanced, and well-developed country, there will be an area where tourists can enjoy every corner of the place like they were in a deep, secluded forest.

"Welcome to the biggest city in the country! Like every tourists who always visited here, we are all happy to serve you two as well." The driver spoke when they arrived at the crowded, famous city in the country.

Halora was amazed by the breathtaking skyscrapers, gigantic billboards, and other small buildings along the busy street.

"Wow! Thank you for your hard work and you're right, this will be one of my epics experiences ever!" She put her hands on her chest with the joy she felt.

Her eyes were stuck with the people who enjoyed the walk with their friends and acquaintances. She never knew their real relationships but whatever it is, the only one thing she was certain of was that– they looked truly happy with the simple things they have.

"I am starting to like this place now!"

The driver suddenly giggled, turned to the left, and said, "You looked familiar, Young lady. Would you mind if I ask you if you've been visiting here for a couple of years?"

Halora smiled, shook his head as an answer. While Sebastian closed his eyes, and waited until the car stopped at the Manosa Hotel.

"This is my first time, to be honest. My parents died a long time ago and they couldn't afford to pay for the fares, hotels, and everything." Her voice changed. From being sweet to bitter and sour. "But I'm glad our school offered a free trip and I was one of the chosen students." She smiled, forced herself to divert the sadness she suddenly felt.

The driver nodded his head. He looked through the mirror for a couple of minutes. "Perhaps, it was not you who always came here years ago. Anyway, is he your boyfriend?"

"N– no! But he's my schoolmate."

"You look good together, young lady. Just like the water and fire, the land and air. A simple, kind girl and a rich, bad boy."

For the second time around, the driver turned left after he asked Halora. She never knew the exact answer to his question and Halora never saw him as an ideal boyfriend.

But, little did she know, Sebastian listened to their conversation and pretended to be asleep. The truth was, he waited for Halora's reaction.

"I don't know, but he's the only person who saved me from the bullies in our school the first day we met." Butterflies filled her stomach as she reminisced the exact feeling she had felt that day. Her eyes twinkled as it was embraced by the flickering fire and innocent desire. "And because of his deeds, I volunteered to be his tutor."

The driver gave her a sweet, fine smile that lifted her emotion. He knew there was something special about the two young passengers on that day.

There was a strong feeling, connection with them that was really hard to believe and put into words. He gasped, turned to the right for the last time, stopped the engine, and said, "We just arrived at Manosa Hotel."

Surprised and overwhelmed, Halora covered her mouth because of the mindblowing, impressive skyscraper before her.
