My Boyfriend Is A Campus Bad Boy

Chapter 93 - 93: Heartbreaking Messages

The entire time, Sebastian sweated profusely without any complaints about the real reason for his uneasiness.

But despite being sensitive with her actions and strange touch, he grabbed the chance to steal stares at her. His cold, yet, enthralling face was brightened up by her sweet, wide smile.

"Stay still, we're almost done." spoke Halora after she put something cold to his wound. "Don't worry, it's a secret ointment that my grandmother used in treating my wound back then. And before she died, she gave me this one."

"I– it's fine. I... I just want to be alone and take some good rest. I've been thinking something that bothered me most of the time."

Sebastian turned his head to the window. He scoffed, remembered about his mission that was impossible to accomplish.

How and where he could find his destined mate in the world of ordinary human beings?

Those questions repeated thousands of times inside of his head these last few days. But until this moment, he hasn't found the girl he wanted to marry with.

"Hey, I'm asking you if it's hurt or not?"

Sebastian blinked his eyes, stared at her glowing eyes and he said, "P– pardon?"

Halora suddenly burst into laughter when she pressed the bandage she put into the wound. She covered her mouth, waited for his epic reaction but nothing had changed.

"Hmm, such a cold, handsome guy!" She stood, rolled her eyes as she quickly turned around, and whispered to the wind.

She carried the small box, breathed deeply like a person who was drowned in the deep, blue sea.

"Are you leaving?" He asked, closed his fists, and felt a little bit of pain.

Halora turned around, faced him and she replied, "Y– yes! I... I t– think I'd rather leave t– than being alone w– with a man!"

"Why? Do you want to be punished by Sandra? We both know she's wondering around, whether to disturb me or not."

He walked into the wardrobe at the left side of the room, searching for an unused towel.

"Stay here and wait for the snack that I ordered for the two of us. Understood?"

Halora was left dumfounded when he effortlessly walked away from her. She sighed, put down the small box into the corner and walked around his room.

She looked at every figurines, paintings and few expensive things around. It was quiet huge, good for two persons but for the rich people like him, this place was just a refugee for an insect.

"Hmm, he looked too nervous earlier while I'm cleaning his wound. And I wondered why?" She asked herself, crossed her arms and waited for the snack that he was saying about.

For a couple of minutes, she did nothing but looked at the guests through the window. Until a sweet, bitter smile showed on her red lips.

"They looked too happy,"

There were a complete, ideal family who played the sands under the heat of the sun. The three good looking children buried their parents' hands and lower body into the fine sand as they laughed so loud.

Their eyes filled with joy and contentment like they were the most perfect family in the whole world. And Halora suddenly remembered her parents who was living in heaven now.

Without her knowledge, tears fell into her rosy cheeks down to her neck and chest. She had no idea why she felt attached to them but there was one thing she was certain about.

"I missed the both of you, mom and dad. I wish you were here with me at this tough moment of my life."

She let the longing for her beloved parents devoured herself. Once in a while, Halora became too emotional because of the best scenery she had ever seen since the day they arrived at the place.

Her heart was filled with grief but the only thing that stayed within her heart and soul was reaching the true euphoria along the journey she was taking.

Before she forgot everything, Halora quickly wiped her tears away, fixed her hair and stood firm like an intern soldier.

Until she felt a strong vibration nearby. "Hmm someone must be calling him!" Curiously, she searched for his cellular phone that had kept vibrating.

She walked into the side table, stooped closer but she had found nothing. "Hmm, where did he put his phone?" She stopped at the moment, imagined some possibilities.

Little did she know, Sebastian usually hid it behind the lampshade. He barely used it since the trip happened, but, out of the blue, Halora noticed that the mini table beside the bed moved strangely.

"Hmm." She slowly walked towards it, but the closer she get, the heavier she felt. "Ahh, why does my heart suddenly hurts this way? Ahh!"

Halora didn't knew that through Sebastian's cellphone, she would discover a hidden truth for a long time.

She then stopped, hushed herself until she looked behind the lampshade and found a vibrating phone.

Her hands trembled when she took it from the spot where he hid it for some reason. Halora blinked her eyes, held her breath back as if she had witnessed a murderer who killed everyone and himself after the incident.

"T– ten missed calls from S– Sanda?" Unexpectedly, her lips shivered and turned pale.

She felt she was betrayed by him but there was something that pushed Halora to investigate and know what to believe and not.

"Three unread messages from the same number."

Curiosity had led her to be suspicious and doubtful. Despite the fear she felt, Halora held it tightly, closed her eyes before she opened the messages one by one.

"She's coming for you. Stay inside and pretend that you need her help so much."

"Hey, how's the plan?"

"She's doomed now. Such a loser girl but keep on trying to steal you from me. And by the way, never forget to tell her about us. Okay? I can't wait any longer to officially announce it in public once we get back home."

Halora trembled and almost fell into the ground when she caught off guard. Her knees became weak, her heart stopped beating as if it turned out numbed. Tears shone to her brown eyes as she couldn't speak a single word.

She was betrayed. She was hurt. She was put in vain of the person who she thought that was destined to be loyal to her.

Her heart shattered into pieces, her hands shook continuously as she couldn't control her emotions. Until she heard the washroom's door squeaked.

"N– no! I... must do something!" Despite the pain she had tried to keep, Halora quickly switched off the cellular phone and put it back behind the lampshade.

"Halora, what are you doing in here?" spoke the young man who came out from the washroom.

She was startled by his sudden presence. Her red lips turned pale, her bright, glinting eyes devoured with sadness and pain.

"I... I w– was just wondering around until my feet brought me here." She replied. Hoped that he would believe in her epic alibi.
