My Brother Pulled Me Into Another World

While Ryuji as sulking deep inside and maintaining his composure with asking such a ridiculous question. He was preparing himself to be struck by lightning or turned into ash for asking that kind of question to the gods.

Yubis was stunned with Ryuji's question. He does not know whether to laugh at the guy or cry for him. He also expects that Hades will be mad with the question. 'Ryuji-san you are too bold for asking that question.' He sneered at the composed guy but inwardly is shaking and waiting for some divine retribution.

Yubis and Ryuji waited for nothing as Hades replied without any hint of emotions. "We can do that… and bring apocalypse level on Zariya." He added nonchalantly. An apocalypse was not a big deal for them. "It's like using a nuclear bomb on a small camo of insurgents." He was explaining it as if it was not a big deal. "We are administrators of the world, but we can't intervene to such low-level circ.u.mstances."

Ryuji gulped his dreamland saliva. He shivered on the thought. It would be better if he does it then. Before he can meet his brother, it might be the end of the world and add the fact that he just came into life for the past few days, it wasn't even a month. He mustered his courage and, in a calm, and composed manner he said. "Ok, I will do it then." Deep inside he was kind of terrified.

When Yubis heard that Ryuji agreed, he was relieved. At least Hades does not start banishing him to the Underworld like he used to. He still wonders why this person is too blunt. Based from the profiles it looked like Takehiko should be the one that should have this kind of behavior while Ryuji should be somehow reserved.

"Second, you need to search for the ancient dragon of Ono while on your way to Valereth. She is the keeper of the Chrysalis." Hades said like he was assigning some tasks to a subordinate at a corporate office. "Deliver the Chrysalis to her."

For a moment, Ryuji remembered his first few days on their corporate office how he was running around with errands from his senpais all over the place. Hades, outfit did really fit as a boss with his suit.

Ryuji's ears perked up when he heard that he needs to deliver the artifact to an ancient dragon. Of course, this was a fantasy world and it won't be completed without a dragon. His thoughts ran wild. 'what should i do when i meet the dragon?' Moreover, the quest provided by the gods seemed to be divided into parts. He only does hope that it does not turn like a chain quest type of thing to save the world. He just wanted to relax somewhere after this and become a homeowner. He had been working for so long back in Japan and now he had to work to survive and not get killed. He wanted to see his brother and settle down somewhere and enjoy his life.

"Do you have any questions Ryuji?" Hades asked cutting the young man's thought process.

"Do I have a time limit?" Ryuji anxiously asked. He forgot about the time component. Some quests in RPGs have a time limit to finish quests. If the time allotted ran out, the quest will fail. He wanted to actually finish these quests as soon as possible. He had a hunch that if he dragged this one on, these gods may actually pester him like the bosses back in his company whenever a deliverable is getting behind schedule.

"There is no time limit, however if this dragged on a longer period, Zariya descend into chaos starting with the Valley of Ono." Sefie replied with a worrying tone.

"I understand." Ryuji humbly replied. This goddess is so pleasant to hear that it soothes Ryuji's existence. She is like a caring mother of this world. It was short lived as he felt someone was glaring at him. His existence shivered in fright. Better not push his luck to anger the domineering CEO god.

Yubis was watching the whole exchange and can't help but laugh inwardly at Hades and Ryuji. He wanted to tease Hades, but he decided not to think of it further because he felt a burning pair of eyes watching him like glaring to his godly existence. Hades is already giving him a deathly stare, what would happen if he teased him openly?

Ryuji thought of attacking the snake first since he had more information about it. Then probably deal whatever lingers in the Beginning Spring, he had been spending his days there and it sensed no malicious threat within the area. If he leaves the springs, he might leave for good to start his journey reuniting with his brother. Hopefully he is ready by that time. Its quite hard what to expect because he spawned is very far from human settlements with no known roads so he would not know what to expect. His thoughts were interrupted when the Goddess of Dreams spoke.

"I think it's time." Vreta suddenly looked away and exchanged glances with the couple god. Sefie and Hades just glanced and looked back to Ryuji. Yubis did not react right away until he realized the Ryuji was in a stupor and closed his eyes. Ryuji's figure slowly faded and blended into the psychedelic background until he vanished.

Yubis was about to say something but it was too late. "He is gone just like that. How anti-climactic." the jack god commented. "Should we just provide him blessings once he wakes up?" Yubis directed his question toward Hades.

"Yes." Hades gave a short reply. This meeting was to assess Ryuji's data if it would bring damage to their domain or not. The divine items were actually test data designed to suppress any leaks and send feed them what the data is and translate it to so they can decide to permit a host of unknown origin to stay on the world under their jurisdiction.

"Hubby, do you think all of these things are happening because of him?" Sefie looked at her husband. She was baffled about the events in Zariya and suspects something may be working in the shadows. She wondered ever since the Chrysalis got stolen from the keeper in Ono, there were weird events going on around the valley. Takehiko's wish to have his brother be brought in Zariya was also baffling. He already knew that transmigration would spell death to the person in the current world. She had to put off the decision for a year until they got the permission recently to transmigrate the odd soul out of Earth. Shortly after that there was a great conversion that had happened with a number of kingdoms introducing the Outer, another religion worshipping a star. The religion denounces the creationism and deemed as heretics. They haven't met the god or gods of the other religion but Sefie is already wary of their intentions after in a short month there were fanatics attacking some of the devotees which made them very busy.

Prior to that, during the time that Takehiko was being transmigrated, they already noticed that the Takeda family had a peculiar predicament of misfortune. Lady Inari and Sefie were already investigating on the matter. However, she could not tie it with the series of events that had happened recently. There are too many variables to consider, but she is certain that the Takeda is a vital piece of major events that will be happening in the future.

"It may be a coincidence or an elaborate plan. He looks like he has no clue of what is going on… for now." Hades spoke. He assessed that Ryuji does not even know what is happening around him, but he wanted to be cautious if in case this is some sleeper agent. They may need to observe further. The artifacts and blessings are just to suppress the unknown residing in the young man. "What do you think Lady Vreta?" Hades looked at the girl seeking any additional observation. Vreta may be a young girl but she learned to be a keen observer when she joined his team of gods managing worlds.

"Brother Hades, he seemed nice but accommodating him in the Realm of Dreams is like letting in someone of higher power." Vreta replied. Vreta is the Keeper of the Meadow. She possesses the ability to feel the beings that enter her domain. Ryuji may look like a normal person, but his presence is similar to her current guests.

"What does this mean?" Yubis was astounded with what just Vreta had said.
