My Brother Pulled Me Into Another World

The Outer was the most secretive of them all. No one knew when it appeared nor what their goals are, but the gods of this group were regarded as insane. It first appeared out of nowhere when Cthulhu appeared in continental US in Earth which alerted the Christian faction. While it did not appear as the end of the world back then with the appearance of a foreign god, the sight of an unknown divine had sent the gods on earth to be wary and cautious. Most of the other gods where they clash with the Outer were convinced that the group throws discord everywhere whenever they start to appear. There was this incident that scared the earth gods and how they regarded humanity as a miniscule matter which showed that Outer group did not simply care about mortals and they can mess with current administrators within a planet anytime as it had been observed by Cosmos and Nomad groups. There was simply unrest across the divine realms because of these disturbances. The Supreme Beings were to wage war but could not because they have not seen sufficient cause to wage one and that would badly affect the divinity. When the Cosmos attempted to rally war eons ago against the Outer, they lost a splinter group and defected to the latter group. The affair did not end well. The Nomads did the same thing but nothing fruitful ever came out of it.

For Hades, he was jointly managing Zariya when the Outer appeared about two years ago. He is cautious as three small kingdoms had already started worshiping the Outer gods more than the religion of creation. According to the procedures after the Lovecraftian incident, countermeasures were made by the Cosmos. The Lovecraftian incident was the result of announcing the existence of the Outer among the devotees. For the God Congress back on Earth, this appeared to be a challenge of the current gods in power. Hades did not simply care as Earth was no longer his jurisdiction after the Roman era converted to Christianity. While he did not care, he did pay close attention to the details of the incident.

In Zariya, almost the same thing happened with the so called 'invasion' of the Outer. Hades was tasked to monitor and negotiate with the Outer to uncover what were the true goals of the group within the universes. He was surprised that Prometheus, a god of the previous Ancient Greece was actually with the group. He made a pretense of allowing Prometheus to stay but both were actually observing each other's movements.

"There is no movement from the kingdoms who worsh.i.p.s the Outer in Zariya. They are too quiet." Sefie replied. It was not a secret that Zariya was infiltrated by the Outer like Earth. This was thanks to the God of Creation which leads the administration of the worlds. He invited Prometheus secretly to Zariya which to the dismay of the current administration was irreversible damage. As for that god, he was currently suspended and the helm of leading the gods in Zariya were passed to Hades.

Under Prometheus' control they were able to gain a foothold with three kingdoms as their seat of power. Even if the Cosmos manages the planet, any other gods from other factions are able to enter these worlds and establish their religion. However, Hades and Sefie were mitigating these effects by closely observing such development. Their aim is to silently suppress the other religion in non-lethal means. Religion to gods are very important power source. The more influence a god has, the more chances of getting to rank up.

"We need to keep an eye to them, the Outer concentrates on human religion but ever since Takehiko appeared, they have been advancing on the demi humans." Hades commanded. The gods of Outer rely on human worship despite the fact that they show that humans are insignificant. Armed with this they launched a propaganda with the evils of non-human races. The three kingdoms that under the Outer's influence started to discriminate demi-humans after the arrival of a transmigrated elf. The wedge between races are starting to grow. One of the kingdoms already engaging in slavery of non-human races. The other scares the populace about a rising demon lord and the human salvation with the Outer religion.

Demon Lords are not that harmful to the world. They are classified to rule demi-human races like kings and emperors on human aspect. Aside from that, there are no adverse effects as their path only differ with evolution. While there is no current demon lord on Zariya, most powerful non-human liked to call themselves as demon lords. This changed when the war broke out with those three kingdoms before. It started branding demon lords as malevolent creatures that aim to destroy the world. There were powerful individuals on each demi human race usually because unlike humans which can wield power in other means, money, influence or political power.

"What does that have anything to do with Ryuji-san?" Yubis asked. It was not a secret about the small war that escalated years ago, exactly a month after the younger Takeda arrived. It was a bloody affair which caused werebears to be almost extinct and high elves to be wiped out.

"It's possible that they may attempt to do the same thing again." Hades replied. He was cautious about this movements which also gave them the reason to stall Takehiko's request. He silently ordered the high priests to move demi-humans away from the territories were Prometheus has high influence.

"I'll inform Morticia later on." Yubis replied. He trusted Hades to prevent another genocide of the races. Losing a race was a big blow to their management. While the instigators get away scot-free, this proved to be a heavy blow to their devotion as high elves are equivalent to 10 human devotees due to their unusual longevity. "Hades-san, how about Ryuji? Should we still provide him with blessings?" The jackal god asked.

"We should. Let's do it cautiously." Hades agreed. "We can't let Prometheus get his hands on any of our transferees. While they still attempting to summon souls from other worlds, we need to bestow protection to all of the people that we have transferred." He added. There were several individuals who has been reincarnated in Zariya, while some of them are humans, there are demi humans as well like Takehiko and Ryuji.

"Hubby, how about we start contacting the ones that has skills." Sefie suggested. While there are several individuals were transferred to Zariya, there are a handful who had oracle skills which they can converse properly.

"I'll leave that to you wifey, but do not let the whole church know. There might be spies that blended among the layman." Hades replied. He turned to Yubis, "Try to get much information who had contacts with our religion. We need to weed them out soon."

"Yes Hades-san." Yubis replied. 'This is going to be troublesome'. Yubis gritted his teeth. Ever since the war had happened, they have been on alert mode. He would not be surprised if there is a connection with what happened to Ryuji and if there are corresponding movements with the Outer gods. They always cause trouble everywhere. They are like a virus destroying the ecosystem of mortals, yet they don't care at all.

"We will watch Ryuji's progress for the next few days. I will stay with Sister Vreta for now. We need to stabilize the Meadow of Twilight soon." Sefie looked to her husband with concern. The quest needs to be done soon so they can bring back balance on the valley.

"Ah yes, Little Vreta, I will leave my beloved here for now. I'll have Acheron deliver you some Pyragas and Torte to enjoy." Hades warmly smiled to the little girl then moved his loving gaze to his wife. "Acheron seemed to be getting better in cooking these days."

Vreta blushed. "T-T-Thank you Brother Hades!" It was her honor that Hades brought her some sweets from her homeland.

Sefie smiled back. This husband of hers is sometimes scary but undeniably charming. After all the ages had passed, he is still doting on her. After her supposed abduction by her useless father to offer to her uncle. She was charmed by the stillness of the underworld and wanted to stay in Tartarus. It's much laxer and quieter compared to Olympus. While she stayed there for the first time, Hades was a gracious host. While time had gone so fast, her mother, Demeter, was just a killjoy. She wreaked havoc to the mortal world and wanted her to go back. The start of their relationship was full of misunderstandings, but she was glad that she chose him rather than the sin filled Mt. Olympus. The guys in Olympus loved polygamy while this man promised him eternity that she was the only one. She is still the only one after eons. She leaned to the guy beside her whispered. "I love you."

"I love you too." Hades beamed back.

"Will you to get a room. Vreta-chan is too young for this." Yubis sneered. The couple had shown him some PDA again.
