493 The Weekly Show With Special Guests

As expected, what was all over the place the next day was news about what happened in the match last night.

Mateo scoring a hat trick despite the treatment he got from the away fans was obviously the highlight of everything but there were still other interesting things that happened in the match and those were moving around with similar intensity.

Unique FC being at the top of the table now was also something to talk about and the Bilbeth Premier League weekly weren't going to miss their chance to talk about it.

This time, they weren't just going to be talking about the highlights of the week and the most important matches, they invited two players from both sides of the Audiz derby that took place last night.

From Unique FC's side, they invited Dave and Mateo and from Supreme United's side they invited Roland and Perez Zoe.

They were all in a well-lit room with a floor properly tiled with white tiles but nobody could make out the color of the walls because it turned out to be just a huge screen that seemed to be showing the highlights from the week that was about to come to an end from different angles.

The players were sitting on some kind of long stool and they were placed opposite each other.

Dave and Mateo on the right, Roland and Perez on the left, and of course their blonde-haired female was in the middle but a little up so that she would be able to see all of them without having to turn around and she was also sitting on a stool.

All she was waiting for now was the signal from the cameramen and as soon she got it, she cleared her throat before raising the cardboard slip she was holding.

"Welcome everyone to another episode of the Bilbeth Premier League weekly, I'm your host Amy Lance and today we have not one, not two, not three but four special guests joining us today." She articulated. "And they're not just any guests, I am talking about four Bilbeth Premier League stars. We have Dave Richards and Mateo Smith of Unique FC and Roland Hills and Perez Zoe of Supreme United."

That was the moment the camera revealed the players to whoever was watching which was a lot of Bilbeth citizens and the players had to wave at them.

"Now, if you're wondering how we managed to get these players here just after their match last night." She said before pausing for about three seconds. "You probably should keep on wondering because I have no idea." She added before turning her gaze to the guests.

<You called them a day before the match, just say it>

'Let it go, Cat.'

"The match last night, the Audiz derby really gained a lot of attention, there was an estimate of one point five million viewers watching your match from around the world last night." She disclosed.

"Seriously?" Perez intoned with a baffled expression on his face.

"I never knew the Audiz derby was that popular," Mateo commented.

'I want to act surprised but the voice in my head already told me about it.'

<You're welcome>

"Well, this is a surprise, I'm sure both of our matches against each other last season didn't make it to three hundred thousand views globally," Roland remarked before putting his hand on his chin.

"Yeah, you're right about that but that was because Unique FC were in eighth to tenth spot then, the match last night was a decider on who was going to stay at the top of the table and people love it when a match is heated like that," Amy explained. "But anyway, let's jump straight to why we are here, the highlight of this season, the Audiz derby. There are a lot of highlights to talk about."

Just after saying that, the parts of the screen all around them quickly switched to display a very familiar and memorable scene from the match last night.

It was paused at the moment when Mateo got his foot on the ball just inside the box and was about to move past Michael with it.

Looking at the image right now Mateo couldn't help but smile.

"His moment pops up and he just bursts out smiling." She teased with her gaze now on the winger.

"Well, what am I supposed to do? I can't frown at that." The winger responded before letting out a little chuckle.

Seeing the winger's reaction, Perez couldn't help but smile, Roland kept a straight look on his face and Dave wasn't really paying attention because he was busy talking with Catherine but he was smiling so it was okay.

"Yeah, I wouldn't frown at that either." The host said before turning her gaze to the screen on her side. "This was the moment you started getting your revenge but I have a question." She added before picking up the tablet sitting on her thighs.

"You had an option to pass the ball to Edward right here." She said before using her hand to draw a circle around Edward who was free near the edge of the box just like she said. "Pelcao had already left him to get to you before you could do anything."

She had to play the footage in slow motion to show when Pelcao decided to leave the midfielder alone and come for him instead.

"You could have passed the ball to him and he would have put it away from the right while Perez was still more on the left side because of you, that was the safer option but judging from the way you grabbed the ball and went directly for the goal it didn't cross your mind or did it?"

That was the question for the winger but it took him a couple of seconds to say anything because he had to take a deep breath first.

"Well, I think it all has to do with the situation I was in at that moment, Michael was heading toward the ball with just the same intensity as me, all the whistling was coming in as soon as I touched the ball and it was starting to get frustrating. I had a clear chance to shoot even though Perez was more on that side, I just had to take the shot, wasn't even trying to find anyone to pass the ball to, I just wanted to score because I knew that was the only thing that could reduce the amount of frustration I was feeling at that moment." The winger expressed.

"So everything they were doing was getting through to you? You didn't really make that visible, staying calm even after they started throwing things at you."

"Well, I knew I had to be the bigger person, fighting back was something I could only do on the pitch, there was no point in saying anything to them." The winger remarked.

"Oh, wise words coming from Unique FC's talisman. You fought back pretty well which was amazing and surprising at the same time." She articulated. "Just before we move on to the next one, let's take another look at that marvelous goal."

"Gets past Michael, and he slams it straight into the top bin!"

Watching that goal now, Perez couldn't help but shake his head with an awkward smile on his face.

"Yeah, beautiful goal, now onto the next month that we have to talk about." She said before giving the tablet a slide to reveal a moment that could have given the lead back to Supreme United in the first half, something that happened before Mateo's free kick.

The scene was paused when Roland jumped higher than the other Roland to get his head on the ball.

He had it directed toward the goal while Dave was still in the center of his goalpost with his hands stretched out.

Looking at that image, Roland just had to put his hand on his face before bringing down his face while he had an embarrassing smile on his face.

'This would have been something.'
