I become aware again sitting in one of the three chairs in front of Crusch Karsten, who looks at the paper she was filling out, only to palm her face "How did you fail? Nevermind, I need to do this paperwork again..."

We stand up, leaving a confused Willhelm van Astrea asking, "You're leaving already? You just sat down."

"I have to explain this again, don't I?" Crusch, asks, exasperatedly while putting her head back onto the desk, and sighing."

The younger Subaru has died, three more times, and therefore we must save them, again.

He's gotten mugged and killed by a threesome of idiots, He's gotten killed by Elsa again before we can get to him, and then he just tripped and cracked his skull open on a table. The older Subaru tells us this only happened on three other timelines.

Apparently Subaru has a 5% chance of being stupidly clumsy due to a secondary curse, and apparently we have had that horrible chance become reality until we can remove the secondary curse.

We rush through the streets, with purpose to where he always walks to before meeting us. An alley where we met the older Subaru in.

"What is with you and dark alleys?!" Rem asks, indignant.

The older Subaru huffs out, "It's not my choice! I just got dumped at that place by that bitch a.s.s witch, and I have no clue why the younger me keeps going there!"

"You'd think he'd stop trying to meet us there the first time he got mugged- Crap, he's using the muggers as a training oportunity isn't he?" I realize.

"I probably shouldn't have told him that he keeps knowledge, experiences, and strengths he gets after every death until after he was safe, shouldn't I?" He asks, scratching his cheek in embarrassment.

I just glare at him.

"Right If you two are done flirting its time to keep that idiot from killing himself again." Rem jokes.

"I'd rather be flirting with you," I grin.

"Not the time, will." Rem pouts.

as we barrel into the muggers, body checking them into a wall, each. We notice the younger Subaru

mid- punch is pulling his fist back in surprise. "uhh, hi, guys."

"STOP GETTING YOURSELF KILLED YOU MORON. Lady Crush keeps having to explain things and redo paperwork and it honestly annoys me when I have to run and catch you every time you die!" Rem and I shout at the same time.

"Well, it looks like you two are in sync." the older and younger Subaru, say at the same time.

I just start laughing and mock "Well, it looks like you two are in sync."

Then Reinhardt comes barreling through and shouts, "I've been through the same day 3 times now, can we stop dying? Please?" a vein visibly pulsing on his forehead, showing his smile is obviously forced.

"Suicidal training aside, it's time to save Emelia, who, by the way, is also in on the loop, Don't you have a crush on her Subaru?" The older Subaru says, eyebrow twitching. "Honestly, are you dumb? She's probably incredibly confused because no one has explained this to her yet!"

"yeah, well, F.u.c.k you!"

He says, grinding his teeth, "You think I'm trying to die? I need to get stronger, and nothing I do can actually save me! EXCEPT GETTING STRONGER!" He waves his arms around, enraged.

"Calm down, Subaru, It's time to get this done."

I use elemental manipulation to put him to sleep. We remove the curse, and then we wake him up.

"It's time to kill an assassin. Again." I say, Deadpan.

We make our way to the slums. again.
