My Little Spirit Kitty

Putting my pen back to the top of my desk, I am looking at my last final school exam of my grade 4 that is supposedly need to let me go the 5th grade normally, except that next year it will finally be my first year at the magical school.

Indeed it's been almost four years now that me and both Phoebe and Yumiko finally become magicians. Right now, Phoebe is seat next to me, finishing to write the last page of her exam while Yumiko and our friend Kaixin was still doing their exam.

Even if not lot of thing happened these past years, at last our friend and neighbor Kaixin finally awaken as a magician during last year during his 9th years old birthday, which shock both of Yumiko and himself, since due to his mother agreement we never reveal him about this, and we even didn't reveal this to Yumiko as well, since Phoebe and I were both wanted to surprise her.

Well, it was also something not easy to keep secret, but at last he is finally in our little team and most important I also finally have a male friend in our team. It's not that I am complaining to have lot girls around me, but sometime it's also good to have a friend same gender as me to talk about some other things together, even thought that Priscilla's friend who did join us few years ago is more like a tomboy, it's not the same.

At least she is much better than her previous friend Sayaka that she did want to invite at first in our peerage, and thanks to Lilith who discover a conversation from her with someone else while she was exploring the school, we were able to avoid such a pathetic girl among us.

And that's also how Priscilla met her new friend Ayumi, who did a lot to help her and protect her from her previous friend, which start to bully her and create lot fake rumors. Thankfully, with the help of Lilith and Ayumi, they were able to reveal the truth and even being able to expulse Sayaka last year from that school after she attempt to use black magic toward Priscilla and Ayumi, which both of them were able to defend themselves due to our training session we had during our summer vacation.

Looking again on my right, I was able to see that Phoebe also finished her exam as well. Sometime I even think that she is same as me, someone that have be reincarnated when I see how smart she is, well true her sister is also quiet smart as well, but she is just so lazy I think but to complete the exam in just one hour when it others had 3 hours to finish it, make me doubt, even her sister didn't finish to reply half of the questions while Kaixin just start the second page of the fifth page in all.

The good things is that Phoebe is a good training partner and we both create lot of personal spell and also helping me to train a few Kaixin since a year already and start to control some basic spell.

Feeling I was looking at her, Phoebe turns her head to my direction and smiles at me when she sees me. She becomes more and more cute every year. She still have short hair while her sister hairs are still long, but I think that today I can clearly recognize them even if they both have the same haircut just by looking at her eyes when she looks at me. There are always still some little sparkles in her eyes when she looks at me compare to Yumiko.

Oh she still likes me a lot and both of them still like sneak out in my bedroom, even thought I think she did more as competition with her sister, specially that she even less invade my room since Kaixin became a magician, which make both Phoebe and I to tease her sometime, I think I am more like a big brother to her.

Showing the clock to Phoebe to tell her that we were finally able to leave the exam, she nodded at me and she start to pack her things as well before following me to the teacher desk, giving both our exam to him who was looking at us while sighing since we always finish our test quickly. At first he did tell us to review our exam, to check if we didn't make any mistake and that we have plenty time left, but he soon give up after seeing that we both always have high score in our test.

Looking one more at the room behind us, we both see Yumiko that was looking at us while pouting when we were saying goodbye to her while Kaixin was shaking his head. In fact he was not really good at study before and the only reason his grade become good was that Phoebe and I were both teaching him some extra lesson join with Yumiko, which lot please her mother and even pushing him to stay sleep in our home when a big exam was coming to be sure his son was studying well with us!

"Ahh Finally done!" Shout Phoebe after closing the door behind us

"Yes! What you want to do? Wait for Yumi and Kaixin or go home directly?" Did I ask her

"Hmm… Let's go home, Yumiko need maybe more than one hour to finish the test since the last questions are quiet hard while Kaixin will certainly stay until the end."

"Ouch! You don't trust your students to finish faster?" Did I tease her

"Why? You think I am wrong sensei?" Did she reply me while smiling at me

"Touché! Fine let's go home first then."

"Do you think Priscilla graduation went well?" Ask Phoebe while taking my hand and leaving the school

"Of course, after all she also has Ayumi with her and even Lilith and her spirit beast too!"

Both Priscilla and Ayumi also got a spirit beast as well, even thought they aren't rare as ours, they are also quiet powerful too. Priscilla got a white tiger that we finally find after we back in Northden for the summer vacation three years ago and was originally what Yumiko was wishing for until we find her the blue tiger during our first trip there.

And even if her spirit beast isn't an animorph like Yumiko and I, she look pretty happy with it while in the same time we also find a one for Ayumi there too after she comes to visit us. She in fact fell in love with Frosty when she see it, making us to look for a snow fox for her as well and making her lot happy.

"Hmm… You are right. Sometime I regret that we didn't accept my grandfather offer to start the school a year earlier…"

"Well, I know that you also like her a lot and that you was want to be there for her graduation…"

"…But that also mean to let Kaixin be all alone during his first year too!" Did she finish my sentence

"Yes! Specially that Yumiko may get lot mad at us if we let Kaixin all alone during his first year, even thought she also get mad at us when we decline your grandfather offer haha. At that time she was not yet knowing why we refuse his offer!"

"Yeah, you are right Hiro! Luckily for us that he finally awake few weeks later, otherwise she may probably still be mad at us!" Did she say while laughing

"By the way, is there anything ready for his birthday Amélia? Solène?"

"Yes! We prepare everything for tomorrow!" Did both of them suddenly reply while appearing suddenly near us

"By the way, how do you always know that we are next to you?" Pouted Solène

"Well… Just by guessing!" Did I reply at her while winking at Phoebe and Amélia who were both trying to not laugh

It reality, it also took us lot of time to improve a spell to reveal hiding people or magical creature next to us that we practice sometime in secret with Amélia and Hikari and the reason that we didn't tell her it was mostly to practice our spell around her since she is as good as Amélia to hide her presence among people and even magicians compare to Midori and Raven. Even Lilith is good at hiding herself, that's also why she discovers the true identity of Sayaka.

"Hmpf… You will see! One day I will really be able to surprise you!" Did Solène whisper to herself but we were all able to hear what she just said, making us smiling while continuing to walk to our home happily

Arriving at our home, we were suddenly startled by a sudden big white butterfly that fly quickly to us and greeting us.

"Hiro! Phoebe!" Shout happily Lilith who suddenly stopped just in front of us

"Ohh? You are already back?" Did I ask her

"Is that mean…" Started Phoebe before being interrupted by both Priscilla and Ayumi

"Surprise!" Did both of them shout while suddenly hugging us

"Ehh? Where are Yumiko and Kaixin?" Asked Priscilla while looking behind us

"Still doing their exam!" We both reply her, "How about you? You were not supposed to arrive tomorrow?" Did I ask them

"Yes, but we have someone who invite us to come back together… So here we are!" Reply Ayumi while winking at Phoebe before a smile appear on her face

"Grand-pa!" Did she shout for then suddenly run to the living room

We all smile at her when we saw her running happily before we all follow her and indeed, there was her grandfather talking with his daughter in the living room and was already hugging his granddaughter who jumped on him to hug him.

"Welcome home Phoebe, Hiroki! I suppose Yumiko still doing her exam…" Did he sigh while seeing nobody else behind us

"Yes grand-pa Teppei, and she might wait Kaixin as well, so she might come back more late!"

"Haha I see! So how your exams?" Did he ask us

"Quiet easy!" We both reply in same time

"Haha I can't wait to see you test score next year!" Did he reply while laughing, "Oh by the way…" He didn't had time to finish before someone was shouting my name

"Hiro! I miss you!" Shout the little girl who jumped in my arms followed by an other girl who was same size at me

"Oww… How are you my dear little sister!" Did I reply while trying to find my balance again after she jump suddenly at me, "How was your trip Cécilia?" Did I ask her for then looking at the girl behind her who was smiling at me

"It was amazing!" Did she shout happily, "Sister Hikari is so powerful!"

"It's more your brother who is amazing." Did the girl behind her reply while winking at me

"There was no problem Hikari?" Did I ask to the girl who was still behind my little sister

In fact, the girl behind my sister was none other than Hikari who already able to take a human form since few months already, which surprised all of us since according to Takashi, it took in general many decades before they able to transform into a human form or even centuries.

"No! All went fine, and I also got some souvenirs from your parents as well." Did she reply while showing a bag in her hand

"Sigh… Is there really need a reason for you to go to the magical school?" Say Sakura while shaking her head

"Haha my daughter is right…!" Laugh Phoebe's grandfather, "The teachers already got a lot of surprise by our top one graduate student, Miss Priscilla Skanaw and even by Miss Ayumi Yamano progress, which she is already in the top thirteen of the strongest students in our school even if she was just in her fifth year, so what it will be next year with all of you coming!" Did he say while looking at me and his granddaughter while smiling.

"Wow congrats Priscilla! Even you too Ayumi!" Shout proudly Phoebe

"Thanks, but it all thanks to all of you!" Reply Priscilla while her face become a little reddish while Ayumi was smiling happily at us

"Well it's also thanks to your hard work and also to your little Ruphy!" Did I reply while looking at her and at the little white cat next to her, well to be more precise, at the white tiger while Ayumi spirit beast was actually playing with Ondine while Natsumi was looking at them from Phoebe's shoulder where she was actually standing after we back home. Ayumi spirit beast was look like of a Brittany dog and she names her Fuyumi.

"Ahh before that I again got interrupted, here your acceptance letters to our magical school!" Did Teppei said to us while giving us three letters

"Ohh you can give the last letter to Yumiko when she will be back." Did I say while taking the one with Phoebe's name and my name

"I already kept the one of Yumiko and Kaixin letters, read the name on the third letter first…" Did he wink at me

And in fact, the third letter was not for Yumiko but for Hikari Blake, the username we did use for her instead of Nogaro to prevent any trouble with my parents family, and here was her name on this letter as well…

"What that's mean?" Phoebe, me and even Hikari asked him when we read the name of this letter

"Well since she is also to use magic as well and that she even can use a wand, I contact some of my friend to help me to register her officially in our school!"

Even though if basically Hikari was already allow to go in school with us as my spirit beast, it was also mean that she will had to take her animal form most of the time and will be just treat like any other spirit beast which are allowed at school than to be really with us.

But now, with this acceptance letters, she was even be able to be part of the students with us, things that she was only dreaming after seeing us always go to school during past 4 years…

Turning my head to her, I was able to see some tears of joy coming out before suddenly run to Phoebe's grandfather and thank him a lot for this. Everyone was quiet surprised about this, but also lot happy for her too, even Ondine stopped to play with Fuyumi and come to check this as well, followed by her.

"Don't need to thanks me, you are already a great magician, so make us proud of you as well!" Did he say to her while patting her head

"Hmm, I will!"
