My Marriage To A Mute Alpha

It was finally time for the wedding. Suho and Xiang stood face to face but didn’t see each other’s face. The priest started to ask them to tell their vows. Xiang started it. He trembled. His whole body did. His words also staggered. Everyone realised it. But not understanding the situation, everyone thought that he was shy. Only Xiang and Suho knew what was going on. Xiang’s mother knew something was wrong and raised her hand to pat his shoulder. Xiang jumped a little.

“Are you okay xi?”

“ye…Yes mom. Nothing’s wrong. I am just a bit nervous”

“Ok. Don’t worry. Everything’s going to be fine”

Xiang continued to say his vows. After he finished, it was Suho’s turn. Suho took out a paper from his pocket and gave it to his mother. His mother started reading it out aloud. Xiang wanted to cry. But he couldn’t. The words that were read made him so emotional. He started to fall for him again. No matter what he tried to, he just couldn’t deny that. He dreamt what it would be like if those were true. How would his life change? Xiang was in a terrible state of mind. He couldn’t think straight. He felt as if he was going to faint. From Xiang’s perspective, the whole world was spinning. He couldn’t stand. Suho noticed that something was wrong with him. But it was too late. Xiang’s knees already gave up and his eyes started to shut down. Before his eyes closed, the last thing he was able to see was Suho panicking and running towards him to catch him before he could fall. After that, everything was black.

With his whole world black for a long time, he could finally see a small light ray. Xiang started to gain consciousness. When he woke up, he knew that he was not in the marriage hall. After looking around for a while, he confirmed that it was an hospital. When he tilted his head down, he was surprised. Suho was sleeping while he laid with is arms wrapped around his head on the edge of the bed. Xiang then realised that the marriage had halted. He didn’t know if he were to be happy or to be sad. He looked down at Suho again. With his matte hair covering his face, Xiang gently pushed it aside with his fingers. This was enough to wake up him. Suho suddenly woke up while still having the panicking face that Xiang saw before he went unconscious. Suho got up and moved his face towards him. Xiang immediately dodged and pushed Suho away gently. Suho was taken aback.

“I am fine. You don’t have to worry about me. Thank you for taking care of me until now. I caused a big scene there. I am really sorry”

Suho took a note pad which was beside him and started to write on it. He showed it to him which said “I am glad that you are fine. You don’t have to worry about the wedding. They planned to move the date to another day. Your parents are talking with the doctor. They’ll be here soon”.

Xiang said “Moving the wedding to another day is not necessary. This incident cleared my mind. I don’t want to cause you and your family trouble. What you said is correct. You must live your life with your loved one. I don’t want to take that chance away from you. I decided to stop this wedding Suho”….
