My Marriage To A Mute Alpha

After some days, Xiang and Suho revealed their plans of getting married at home. Both the families were shocked by the idea, especially Mrs. Lee, who was looking forward to holding a wedding ceremony. But despite those things, everyone was happy that they finally decided to get married with mutual agreement. The Lee twins reaction came out to be quite ordinary like the others, but not the reaction Suho and Xiang were expecting.

Xiang, to conclude the conversation, said, “If there is no problem, we decide to get married on Friday. We’re planning to exchange rings at home and later register our marriage. Cheng Mu and Han Li will also be joining us. As for the rest of our friends and relatives, we can hold a wedding ceremony within this year, just as Mrs. Lee had planned. But for now, we think that having our names in each other’s family registry is more than enough.”

When he finished the last sentence, Xiang lifted his head and looked up at Suho, who was standing beside him the whole time. Suho took hold of his hand and gripped it tightly and gave out a gentle smile. Just a single smile of his was enough to reassure him that he had nothing to worry about, as long as Suho was by his side.

“Of course, there is no problem! You two went through a lot. This is the least we could do,” replied Mrs. Shi. Mrs. Lee nodded her head in reply and said, “You know, I’m ready even if you guys get married tomorrow. Can’t believe I’m finally going to get a son-in-law!”

While everybody was in a state of excitement, Ai suddenly said, “Um…sorry for interrupting. But, isn’t it better to complete the marking process before you guys get married? In general, registering the marriage after bonding seems to be a better idea. Bonding can make your relationship even stronger and you don’t even have to get married to say that you two are partners.” Xiang noticed that she was fidgeting her fingers the whole time, the same way she did when she came to Suho’s villa. The whole room was in silence after Ai’s statement.

Zhao suddenly broke the silence by saying, “I think that Suho and Xiang’s plan is much better. Bonding before marriage seems a bit too rushed. Forming a bond is not a simple matter. It’s a decision that affects a person’s whole life. They can take time and think about bonding after their marriage.” He then looked up at Suho and Xiang and said, “Am I not right?”

Ai was taken aback by his reply and kept silent for a while. Suho took a piece of paper and started writing. He then showed it to Ai, which said, “Ai, what you said is correct. But we need time to plan our bonding. It’s not something that can be done out of the blue. That’s why we want to get married first.”

Ai then replied, “I understand. But….. It’s fine. I wish you guys the best.”

While everybody was happy about the upcoming plans, Xiang noticed that there were signs of fear and disappointment in her eyes and that she felt uneasy. For a moment, Xiang’s and Ai’s eyes met. But she immediately turned her eyes away. She then got up and said, “I have to go somewhere. I’m really sorry, but I have to go now. Suho and Xiang, take care. Sorry for leaving so suddenly,” and left the place.
