My New Life In One Piece

Chapter 46 - East Blue - Part Two

Hello everyone, before I start with the chapter I have something to ask you. There are only 8 chapters left to finish volume 1 of this story, after that I have two options and I would like to know which one you prefer.

First, for the moment I have written 5 chapters of the second volume, and I will continue writing throughout the weeks plus chapters, but right now I have started university and I have less time. The first option is, after finishing the first volume, I will stop publishing for a week or two, it may arrive at three weeks, and then return to the same frequency of publications, since by that time I will have several chapters already written.

The second option is once the first volume is finished, the next day of publication begins with volume 2, the drawback of this option is that the frequency of chapters may change since it depends on my d.e.s.i.r.e to write or my inspiration.

Well, having said that, I would like to know your opinion in the comments and I hope you enjoy this chapter.

After several days have passed since the departure of Kaito's ship from the island of Amazon Lily. The trip was quiet, from Amazon Lily they just had to cross the Calm Belt to get to the East Blue.

During those days, Kaito, who had not been present on most of Tashigi's training days with the Kuja pirates, asked her to demonstrate what she had learned.

Kaito had a general idea of Tashigi's current strength but he wanted to check it anyway.

After Tashigi agreed, she first faced several Marines at once, they were stronger than an average person, but they didn't last long against Tashigi.

Kaito - (is much stronger now, this level could be almost comparable to that of a normal navy captain) -

Despite Kaito's thoughts, he himself knew that the ranks in the navy simply demonstrated their contributions and achievements, and not necessarily one's strength. In the rank of captain, people could be found much stronger than most other captains, a good example being the case of Kaito, while there were Marines who due to certain achievements had managed to become captains of the navy.

By Kaito's standard of strength, Tashigi was strong enough to be a navy captain, but she lacked experience in royal combat. During these three years, she had participated in the missions assigned to Kaito, but there were few occasions where she had to fight and in most cases she faced normal pirates or bandits.

These kinds of situations were not enough to get the full force of Tashigi. This type of situation not only happened to Tashigi, Kaito and Kalifa suffered equally. Their strength levels were much greater than the difficulty of the missions and on most occasions the rest of the crew was the one who took care of almost everything, and on those few occasions that they could not deal with the situation it was where Tashigi would intervene . And on those occasions where Tashigi was not enough, Kalifa was the one who intervened, but the difference in strength between Tashigi and Kalifa was quite large, so Kalifa normally concluded those few situations quickly without the need for her to use all her strength. .

For Kaito, in almost all the missions he had, he did not need to participate actively. Although Kaito was not a fighter freak, he was not someone who liked to always be doing nothing.

Kaito - well, that's enough, Tashigi, I think now you just have to gain more real combat experience before continuing with more advanced training -

Tashigi - okay Kaito-san -

Kalifa - although you say that, we don't have many opportunities to participate most of the time -

Tashigi - it's true Kaito-san, most of the time, thanks to his strategies and tactics, the rest of the Marines are enough to finish a mission -

Kaito - I think so too, but despite that, I think it's a good thing that the rest of the crew acquires greater strength and we are not the only ones with great strength -

Kaito remembered that most of the time, the Marines who were not officers were much weaker than the officers. Kaito thought that in this way only a few were able to face opponents several times stronger than an average person.

All this led Kaito to order the rest of his crew to several training sessions to be stronger. Although these workouts simply focused on physical strength, endurance and speed. It was much better than simply letting them use the weapons to kill their opponents.

Kaito didn't want to make his marines the strongest in the navy, but he didn't want them to be simple marines either.

These measures paid off over time. The Marines were now able to deal with most pirates in the sea, with some exceptions such as pirate captains or some pirate with superior fighting ability.

Kaito - well, you don't need to worry, surely there will be occasions where you can use all your strength -

Tashigi - that would be good, I want to face the strongest swordsmen -

Kalifa - it is a waste to train so much to not be able to demonstrate what we are capable of -

Kaito nodded at the words of the two girls. Kaito turned around and watched the sea.

Kaito - (two years, it only takes two years for everything to begin, the girls do not have to worry, we will face more powerful opponents soon) -

Kaito told the powerful characters that were in the world of One Piece and although he would let the original story go by without much change, there were still opponents that Kaito wanted to face either to compare strength or by disp.l.e.a.s.u.r.e that Kaito had against them.

Marine - Captain, we just entered the East Blue, what course do we take? -

Kaito - well, head towards the Gecko Islands -

Marine - yes sir! -

Kalifa - the Gecko Islands? -

Kaito - yes -

Tashigi - is there anything interesting there? -

Kaito - ... well I could say yes, I think there is a pirate hiding there -

Tashigi - a pirate, if there is a pirate because we do not simply inform the base of the nearby navy there? -

Kaito - well, apparently the captain of the base captured and executed that pirate, but I suspect that it is not so -

Kalifa - I see, that's why you want to go check if that pirate captain really was executed? -

Kaito - yes -

Kalifa - so why don't we go straight to the base of Shells Town? -

Kaito - well ... what do you think the captain in charge would say, do you think he would accept that his achievement was actually a lie -

Tashigi - I understand, but why the Gecko Islands? -

Kaito - I suspect that captain is hiding there among the population -

The girls, despite not fully understanding Kaito's reasoning, simply nodded and followed his orders.

Tashigi - by the way, Kaito-san? -

Kaito - what happens Tashigi? -

Tashigi - in spite of all your explanations you have not told us what pirate we are talking about -

Kalifa - Tashigi is right -

Kaito - sorry, I missed it, the pirate we are looking for is ... -

Marine - captain! Pirate ship heading north! -

Before Kaito could answer the girls a marine scream and pointed towards the sea. In the distance a ship with a black flag could be seen on the mast.

Marine - captain what are your orders! -

Kaito - mmm ... -

Kaito did not answer and simply picked up a telescope. After focusing my eyes on the pirate ship, I look closely at the flag.

The flag was black, with two crisscrossed bones drawn and in the middle the drawing of a cat's skull with black eyes and a vertical yellow line on each. When he saw the flag, Kaito knew immediately what the pirate ship was.

Kaito - the black cat pirates -

Kalifa - black cat? -

Kaito - yes -

Tashigi - if I am not mistaken recently it was reported that this pirate gang was defeated and its captain executed, as they are still sailing freely -

Kaito - it's just your captain we're looking for -

Kalifa - your captain? -

Kaito - yes, the pirate captain of the black cat band, Kuro -

Tashigi - so it's him, so you think Kuro is still alive -

Kaito - yes -

Kaito actually knew that Kuro was alive but he couldn't tell them since they would have many questions to ask about why Kaito knew it.

Marine - captain what do we do? -

Kaito - well, without telling his captain, there are still three pirates with reward in the black cat pirate band -

Kalifa - what are your reward? -

Kaito - the second of the band, Jango with 9,000,000 beris and the Buchi and Sham brothers with a reward of 7,000,000 beris -

Tashigi - and what was Kuro's reward? -

Kaito - Kuro had a reward of 16,000,000 Beris -

Tashigi - oh! -

Kalifa - well, but then what do we do about it with the pirate ship -

Kaito - mmm ... marine! -

Marine - yes sir -

Kaito - we will go straight to them -

Marine - yes sir! -

The Marines began preparing the ship for the chase of the pirate ship.

Kaito - while the ship chases the pirate ship, you two will go ahead and embark the ship and capture all the pirates and if it is not possible to kill them -

Tashigi / Kalifa - yes! -

After giving his orders, the ship began to chase the pirate ship, it had begun to sail in the opposite direction trying to flee. Meanwhile Kalifa and Tashigi stood at the edge of the ship and jumped into the sea. Before touching the water they began to tread in the air, they were using the geppo to jump through the air without falling. They began to jump in the direction of the pirate ship.

Kaito - well it's time to see and see how strong the characters that came out in the original story are -

Marine - Captain said something? -

Kaito - oh, nothing, continue the chase! -

Marine - yes sir! -

Kaito did not realize that I speak out loud and almost the marine near him heard him.

Kaito - (I have to be more careful with what I say) -

While Kaito was thinking this, Kalifa and Tashigi quickly approached the pirate ship of the black cat band.
