My Wife Is The Demon King

It has been a week since Kazuki is born. I am also glad that there's no other strange incident happened after that one time with Zellana.

Of course my wife and I also used this peaceful week to finally practiced the holy scripture ars lectulo while draining my seed every day. I didn't know if it was because of the technique or my nourishment, my wife is becoming more beautiful every day. It was as if she is radiating a dazzling charm that soothes the soul.

Sometimes however she set aside a portion of my seed and pack it up. She said that she need it for Zellana since she needed it. It doesn't quite often though because she also said that my seed have an abundant amount of life force and that should sustain her for a while.

Today I am having a day off from working and I played with Kazuki at home while Roselia need to go and do something. I guess it must be hard being the demon king and I am oblivious of it all this time. I just thought that she has some experience with administrative job because she acts like the village chief and organized the whole village. Who can guess that she is actually the demon king? That is probably why for them she is the village chief indeed.

Kazuki is growing heavier and his hair is getting longer. I didn't know about normal human growth but I think that Kazuki's growth is faster than most. I asked my wife earlier and it may have to do something with Kazuki being a mix of a demon and a human. I didn't know if he can be called as a demi-human but my wife said I can consider him as a demon because a human or demi-human won't have the potential like him.

We checked his potential some time ago using a stone called agnosco. The stone works when someone put their hand on it and the stone will emit lights according to the person potential. My wife first tested it and the light is so bright until I have to close my eyes. It was like the light of a miniature sun. When I checked mine, the light is like a wall lamp inside a bedroom which is pretty dim. My wife said that it was pretty normal among human which means that I have average potential. When it was my son turn, the light isn't as strong as my wife but it was sufficient enough to beat my light by a hundred times.

As I guess, my son potential is still a level lower compared with my wife due to my human lineage. If only she married another powerful demon, he might have an even higher potential than her but it wasn't something I want to see. Between choosing a powerful son and a caring husband, I am glad she choose the latter.

To be honest, seeing how adorable Kazuki is, it's giving me determination to be the best father for him. If only he didn't give me that look every time he saw me. After all, I am the one who had to deal with his bio-weapon every morning and the source of his handsomeness.

When I looked at Kazuki which is in my arms, Kazuki at that moment is also looking at me. Although for the last two days looked like he wanted to say something, what comes out from his mouth is only "oa oa" or "oe oe". This time however there's something different. I can roughly tell what he wants to say by reading his mouth movement. Although there's no sound coming out from it, I can roughly guess what he wanted to say.

"A..A..pa..pa..pater? Oh, are you calling me father my son? How smart you are, you can call my name already."

I observed carefully and it doesn't seem like he wants to stop yet.

"o..o..mo..moi?mo..mo..mori..e..tu..? morietur?"

When I come into conclusion that he is saying pater morietur I wanted to curse out and spank him but after that he keep returning to "oa oa" and "oe oe". Was it only just my imagination? Maybe my skill in reading lips isn't as high as I estimated it to be. After all I learned it by sticking my lips together to Roselia and asked her to speak without saying anything and I try to guess what is she saying. Although I can roughly tell what she is saying I deliberately tell her the wrong thing to prolong my lip reading technique. Well, maybe it was my fault for goofing off that my lip reading technique to deviate and not as perfect as I thought it was.

Looking at Kazuki again which is now closing his eyes and sleeping, I guess I just overthink it.
