Nine-Tailed Fox

After Devil took her core, Zhao Yufei was literally dead. The core was the source of life in this world and without it life was impossible.

Zhao Yufei's body turned into a Fallen after she reincarnated but it had not been triggered till her core left her body.

Unknown to these changes Devil walked pass by two guards and said "I want every bone in her body shattered. I will come back and check". Although he didn't know about Fallen, he wanted to be sure about his safety. After all Fallen was the most mysterious form of life in this world.

Those two guards came into the office and saw a dead body in the middle of the room. They didn't want to hurt such a beauty but their master world kill them if they didn't do it and she was dead after all. They started to hit her as hard as they could.

Bone shattering sound soon spread in the office. After hours of getting hit as hard as possible, Zhao Yufei's body was just a pile of meat without bones and nothing more.

The office's door opened and Devil came to see Zhao Yufei. "Good, now get her out of the city and dig a hole for her in the jungle and burn her body. At least her soul will be able to rest."

"Sure, master" after that the guards put the meat in a bag and went straight out of the city toward the jungle. Not even a single individual asked them a question when they saw the library mark on their clothes.

Deep in jungle two-man was digging a grave in the ground. It was deep enough for a pile of meat to get cooked after all. They put the bag in the grave and burned it. Soon a smell of meat spread in the air.

After that howls of wolves echoed in the jungle. "Hey, let's go back to the city. I don't like to be the dinner for these wolves."

"But the master said to wait till it became ashes..."

Both of them left the grave. But unknown to them, the fire was burning gold. The grave and the soil around it turned to gold and shined in the middle of the night.

"Ahhhhh..."

Screams echoed in the jungle. It was like something was getting eaten alive. After screams and shouts, it was the moment for her body to heal. All those shattered bones and torn muscles should get back to how they were.

After Zhao Yufei's core had got out of her body, she lost control over her body. Just a single thought remained of her. Every hit she took, every pain she endured, she remembered it all. She couldn't say a word or move a muscle but she could feel and hear.

Those pain made Zhao Yufei remember the words of Mimic. 'Only strong will rule'. Now she realized what world she had reincarnated to.

In the grave every now and then came the sound of bones shattering. The process of reviving wasn't just simple healing. Her Fallen bloodline had been triggered and now she should endure the pain of far more one can imagine.

Every part of her body got torn and revived again under the heat of the golden fire. Zhao Yufei could just shout in her mind. She had a strong will, otherwise, how could she become a professor at age 25 back on the earth.

It was just this single thread of hope that kept her from not going insane. The golden fire went out slowly and a golden woman statue of gold laid in the grave. It was so beautiful and so mesmerizing that you watch it for a lifetime and never get bored.

The statue broke like an egg. Zhao Yufei came out while gasping for air. Her short hair had turned gold with shadows of red. Her eyes were now golden-red fox eyes. Her smooth skin was now like a pearl, white and majestic. She had fangs like Foxes and her nails were now sharper. She stood up and behind her back nine-tails were swinging in wind.

They were not real, they were just a projection of her soul. She checked her body and realized her body was now more beautiful, two pair of t.i.t.s with slender legs made her a goddess in the eyes of mortals.

When she looked around her, she realized wolves had surrounded her. Zhao Yufei wanted to run but suddenly the wolves opened a path and a bigger wolf came, walking to her.

Zhao Yufei was certain that this wolf was their Alpha and she guessed it had come to finish her. But different from her thoughts, the wolf came and bowed in front of her.

"Welcome back" the wolf looked at her with its golden eyes. Zhao Yufei didn't know if she heard it with its ears or it was in her mind but she was she heard something.

"Come with me, there are many things we should discuss Queen" now Zhao Yufei was sure that this alpha was really talking to him.

Zhao Yufei didn't have anywhere to go and couldn't trust anyone but this creature made her feel safe. After all, it could kill her any moment it wanted.

"Sit Queen. Everyone leaves." It was looking straight at Zhao Yufei.

"I will ask the first question: who are you and why do you call me Queen?" Zhao Yufei couldn't stop herself and asked.

"I am Xue the alpha of this pack and the Queen is what my ancestors told me to call someone like you." Patiently Xue explained. He didn't even blink, he had just stared at Zhao Yufei.

"Someone like me?" Zhao Yufei was at a loss of words. She didn't know anything and had been killed twice but she was sure that she wasn't normal.

Although at first, she acted boldly with Mimic but deep down she felt that these were some dreams. But after the pain she felt from her revival, she was sure that everything was real.

"Yes, You are the Fallen" when Xue said this he bowed slightly and showed respect. " my ancestors told me that one day someone will come with a bloodline of Fallen and make a blood contract with a blood weapon. And you made that contract and have the bloodline of Fallen but now you are just a mere mortal with bloodline and without that weapon."
