NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Chapter 146: Black Tuxedo with A Hat and A Stick!

The entire sixth region turned into a wide battle between his aggressive monsters and the peaceful others. Despite the great number of monsters killed and the fast progress he had, his level didn't increase and only his Xp increased by half.

"Tsk, this tactic is nice, but those one thousand dolls," he shook his head as he had to share his Xp with these girls. They had an advantage in lower Xp needed for them to level up, not like him.

These thousand girls were already at level sixteen, bypassing him by one level. As for his older girls, the weakest now was level twenty-eight, and the highest was level thirty-one.

"Don't be this regretful, it's not their fault having lower Xp needed to level up," the NPC was always standing on the dolls' side. "Tell me how did you manage to acquire these beauties again?" this wasn't the first time he asked, and every time Bloom would give him the same answer.

"Through a special quest."

"Ah, indeed," the NPC nodded while his face told Bloom how much he doubted his words. Yet Bloom ignored him before going to have some rest in the safe zone, surrounded with his monsters.

"Go, kill those at the next layer," he ordered before a notification came so sudden.

"System alert: Someone is trying to open the game capsule."

"Tsk," he shook his head before turning to the NPC, "I will exit now and take some time to rest. Keep the girls safe for me."

"Oh, that's my pleasure," the NPC answered with such a pervert laugh which made Bloom shake his head in annoyance. "Don't touch them, they are my dolls, not yours!" he said clearly and directly.

"Sure, sure, I had nothing in mind," the NPC lied.

"I'll know if you did anything," Bloom threatened before another notification came and he had to leave the game.

The moment he exited the capsule, he found his man standing beside the capsule waiting for him.

"Is there anything important?" he asked while sitting on his seat before adding, "I'm in the middle of a big quest right now."

"It's a big thing, master," Antoan said before adding with a grim face, "the preliminary evaluation conference has been pushed in advance."

"the… what?" Bloom didn't understand his meaning.

"It's one of many steps in the Triflet challenge," Antoan explained, "it's supposed to happen three months from now, yet someone had pulled some strings from the shadows and made it tonight."

"Tonight?!" Bloom was surprised, "that means…" he hurriedly checked the clock in a corner of the screen on his desk, "three hours from now!!"

"Yes, master," Antoan said before adding, "this is just a formal meeting, where a board made entirely of the game company CEO board will ask you about your progress of the game."

"And?" Bloom didn't like it, "what if I decided not to show up? Or lie to them?" he asked.

"Well," the face of Antoan seemed disturbed, "it's stated in the contract of the Triflet competition you signed before to show up in every stage or else any absence will be considered as forfeiting the challenge."

"Tsk, I don't recall these," Bloom shook his head as he didn't have any memory regarding Terry doing such a thing.

"You… assigned me to do that for you," Antoan said while his face showed his annoyance, "I never thought your rival might use this against you one day."

Bloom glanced at the sorry Antoan as he sighed. It wasn't his fault, it was Terry's fault to be this passive towards such a thing. "Tell me what you know about this meeting, and is there a possibility they will leak my info?" Bloom cared much about the secrecy of his identity.

"The CEO board has a reputation to keep," Antoan said before adding, "I ran some inquiries, it seems Dockrey had tried more than once to bribe the members of the board, to get rejected and punished by intently scattering his main team all over the game world at the village stage."

"Hmm…" Bloom knew this would be nice news to reassure him, but he wasn't that confident at this board. "Can't I use a fake ID?" he asked.

"The meeting is to show the board you are serious about the challenge, or else they will vote to kick you off the challenge and search for a new one to be added," Antoan said before adding, "they will use a measure that won't expose your ID in the game but will reveal an assessment of your current progress."

Bloom gave him a deeper glance before his butler added, "that's what they told me and the main assistants of Dockrey."

"Sigh, so I have no way to escape this," he shook his head before adding, "who else will attend this? And where will it be held?"

"We have to move in an hour from now, where a reception ceremony will be held inside the special lounge of the VIP hotel downtown. The ceremony will last for six hours, during which the assessment will be done in front of the press and the high echelon of the world."

"You gotta be kidding me," Bloom shook his head, "do you want me to be assessed in front of everyone? What if they revealed my ID?"

"Don't worry, I'm confident they won't risk something like this," Antoan said.

"Not enough," Bloom decided, "go and inform them, if the assessment will reveal a tiny bit of my ID then I won't show up and I'll make a press conference and expose everything to the public!"

"This…" Antoan was speechless for a moment before shaking his head, "alright, I will contact them now."

He moved outside the room while sighing. 'This new play of reincarnation seems to make him quite impatient and aggressive!' he said to himself while dialing the number of one inside the CEO board who was sponsoring Bloom.

After five minutes, Antoan returned with a smile on his face. "What?" Bloom asked in discontent, "what did they tell you?"

"They explained everything regarding the assessment," Antoan said before adding, "rest assured, master, they will use your blood print and make the AI of the game to identify your ID and automatically analyze your progress according to preset parameters."

"And?"

"The AI will handle everything and will express the final result ranging from a failure to super performance," Antoan answered before adding, "this way no one will take part in this, and the AI is secured by the strongest defense system in the world; can't be hacked or manipulated. Plus…" he paused before adding, "the AI will delete the data the moment it shows it up to the public."

Bloom gave it enough thought before saying, "do you trust your resource?"

"Absolutely, after all he is your sponsor inside the board."

"My sponsor?" Bloom asked.

"I'll explain things later, but now you need to hurry and dress up in a good looking black tuxedo," Antoan smiled before nodding, "after all the main flower of the Triflet challenge will attend it from beginning to end."

Bloom smiled helplessly as he didn't need such a thing to make an impact on his girl. He already had her in his grasp inside the game. "Alright, go and arrange everything," Bloom said before stopping Antoan, "bring a nice gift for her."

"Good thinking," Antoan commended, "any ideas?" he asked.

"Well," Bloom thought for a moment before deciding.

"Alright, a strange gift but I'll try my best to pick something in this short time," Antoan's face showed how much surprised he was by his master's choice.

"Pick it pitch black in color," Bloom added, "with beautiful looking, don't forget this note."

"Sure, I'll get it done and make you satisfied," Antoan then left him while Bloom opened the cabinet and found many toxidos there. "Wow, Terry really was careful about his look," he smiled before grabbing one with some glittering edges and started dressing it.

"Is that necessary?" Antoan glanced weirdly towards Bloom who was sitting beside him in the car heading towards the hotel.

"Sure, the hat and the stick are the signature of a gentleman!" Bloom answered in a weird tone as he insisted on finding a hat and a short stick to match the tuxedo.

Of course the entire mansion didn't have such things, as Terry never bothered by any of those! That made Antoan have to stop by a shop and buy what his master needed.

Despite feeling the change in vibe in his master with these fine touches, he was still wondering what happened to his old master!

"Sigh, you really changed a lot," he muttered.

"Don't you think it's for the better?" Bloom laughed, "don't forget I was reincarnated and I have to learn from my past life mistakes."

Antoan just shook his head while feeling his master was enjoying this play of reincarnation to the maximum.

"We are here Mr. Terry," the driver said as the car stopped in a long row heading towards the main entrance of the hotel.

"Wow, busy day?" Bloom muttered.

"I guess those are guests to the ceremony," Antoan muttered, ``I recall coming here a couple of months ago to sign the Triflet contract yet it wasn't this busy."

"Oh," Bloom muttered before adding, "find us another entrance then."

"What?" Antoan and the driver spoke at the same time in surprise.

"Of course, I won't enter through the main door others will pass through! After all, I'm the star of this ceremony!" Bloom spoke like he was talking about some basic principle that everyone should grasp without explanation.
