Bloom knew his answer would not quench the fire, instead it would rage it more. For him he didn't care about any conflict with Dockrey… after all the latter moved to kill him before and nearly succeeded.

"Who does he think he is?"

This shout came from the direction of Dockrey's group where a fat old man was very enraged. Antoan wasn't here to ask him about this man, but Nara was.

"He is his uncle," Nara answered softly, "he is the one ruling over his empire while he plays in the game."

"Good duo," Bloom sneered before adding, "I hope he comes to me and shouts like he does there."

His tone wasn't conserved and so many heard him perfectly fine. The face of that old man was really funny while his fat cheeks kept rolling up and down like he was misacting them.

"Mr. Henry," the old man who was the leader of the CEO group moved to stand before Bloom as he added, "we need to solve this peacefully."

"I don't want to," Bloom shrugged before pointing towards Dockrey and shouting in a loud tone, "he killed my cousin before and wouldn't hesitate to kill me!"

"I don't have anything to do with you," Dockrey sneered from his place before adding, "and your cousin's death has nothing to do with me."

"You are wrong," Bloom shook his head before adding, "we already have a blood feud between us."

"Humph."

Dockrey glanced away as if he was disgusted to glance at Bloom while the latter only laughed and turned to the old man. "I won't move away from my men, no matter what."

"This…"

The old man seemed in a struggle and difficult position while Bloom glanced in puzzlement towards him. 'Sigh, how can time change people,' he thought to himself as this man was once authoritative and feared by many before.

And now… he was like a helpless lamp!

"Boom!"

Suddenly this shot sound came from outside and caused an uproar in the mansion. Many ladies screamed and many men ran towards the outside, including the old man.

And Bloom stayed back doing nothing but smile as he was certain this was nothing but the start.

"You should mind your own business," suddenly a young man approached him in the middle of this chaos, "or else…"

Just as he finished, a dagger moved from the clothes of the man towards Bloom, but the latter only turned around with strange speed, evaded the dagger and held the wrist of that man firmly before turning it against his will.

And he hugged him.

And that was a very deadly hug.

"Sorry I wanted to say something in return but…" Bloom paused as he pushed the young man to sit over the chair nearby while his eyes were widely opened out of fear and shock.

He was dying by the same dagger he aimed towards Bloom's kidney.

He didn't plan to kill him, but to give him a message so direct not to neglect. However Bloom used inhuman abilities just now and repaid the favor double… or even more.

And Nara stood silent on the side with a pale face, yet she was doing great in controlling herself.

"Sorry," Bloom stood beside her while adding, "are you ok?"

She couldn't speak, or else she would scream. Only nodded and then glanced at the nearby Dockrey whose face was now ashen from anger and shock.

He saw what happened and couldn't believe the assassin he sent was nullified simply like that!

And Bloom glanced at him while smirking… "Come and dance with me if you dare," he said in silent lips while following this with a wild laugh, a very mocking laugh.

"Master."

Just as he was amused by the face of Dockrey, Antoan returned, "someone tried to be smart and funny, but we taught him a lesson."

"Anyone dead?" Bloom simply asked.

"None."

"You are mistaken," Bloom shook his head before turning towards the about to die assassin and patted on his shoulders. Antoan's eyes went wide and the next instant he turned sharply towards Dockrey.

Yet the firm hand of Bloom stopped him. "Don't do anything foolish," he whispered, "not now, not here."

Antoan nodded without turning his gaze away from Dockrey, and the latter only sneered and said nothing.

"Sorry for this inconvenience," the old man returned to the hall before giving Bloom a long and deep glance, "now let's get this night done. Miss Natalie, come here for a minute please."

Peri, who was doing the role of Natalie, moved to stand beside the old man calm and collected. "Now in front of all of the CEOs of your companies and the remaining rival of the Triflet challenge, can you say if you found another competitor?"

"Him."

The answer was simple and the tone wasn't loud but it rang in the hall like a needle over a marble ground of a deserted palace. Everyone's gazes followed her finger to spot Bloom, who simply smiled and said:

"I gladly accept this honor."

"I object!"

Dockrey shouted in extreme rage and his face told Bloom how enraged he was. "I won't accept anybody to be my rival!" he bellowed in an explosive tone while pointing towards Bloom.

"Who is nobody?" Bloom sneered, "I'm Henry, the heir to the late Bloom, may mercy be upon his soul."

Nara glanced shortly at his back while marveling his acting abilities.

"Yet you are nothing," Dockrey viciously shouted, "the Triflet challenge is a game challenge, not a real life one."

"I'm playing the game," Bloom simply stated the obvious.

"My three years old nephew is also playing the game, but is he my rival?" Dockrey laughed sarcastically before patting his hand over the shoulders of one of his henchmen, whose face seemed very familiar to Bloom.

"My butler here got ambushed unfairly in the game and lost everything. He had to join the game as a new player now, does this make him my match?"

Bloom only sneered and resisted the urge to make fun of this. "In short, no street dog can come here and challenge me… I won't accept this!"

"Dockrey has a point," one of his supporters inside the board expressed his agreement in public.

"Me too!"

"He needs to be tested."

"Yeah, bring the machine here and let's see if he is a dog or a rat."

Many voices erupted in succession while all made fun of Bloom who stayed silent and watched all this without flinching.

He was totally sure of his overwhelming victory here, and also the real Natalie standing behind him knew this as well.

"What miss says go," the old man said as he glanced at the fake Natalie who turned to glance at Bloom in return.

"Bring it on," Bloom simply shrugged while he casually agreed to their demands, "let me kick his ass like my dear nephew once did."

"Humph," Dockrey sneered before adding, "aside from the top ten players in the game, no one can beat me," he arrogantly declared, "and I personally know each and single one of them… you have no chance kid. Crawl back to the hole you came out from and spare yourself a humiliation."

He returned the words Bloom sent to him in such a mocking way, yet Bloom met them with a wide smile over his face. "Wanna bet?" he simply said.

"Bet?" Dockrey paused for a moment before laughing, "kid you have no chance at all. Can't you even understand simple English?"

Bloom didn't answer and his gaze was strictly falling upon Dockrey's body. "You are serious then," Dockrey shrugged, "I have nothing to lose. If you want to give up your assets to me for free then I can't neglect free lunch, hahaha."

He was in a good mood, and that made Bloom wait more patiently. The happier he was, the more bitter he would become after losing.

And he knew best how bitter this arrogant kid was.

"What do you wanna bet on? Your wealth? Your companies? Your mansion?"

Bloom kept glancing at him before leaning over Antoan and whispered something in his ears before the latter had a sudden change in face before trying hard to control his laughter as he answered the question of his master.

"I will bet all my belongings…" Bloom said in a very loud tone, "my companies, my wealth, even my mansion."

"Oh, such a generous hand," Dockrey laughed before adding, "I didn't imagine the man who wants to rival me would end up not only losing his chance here but losing everything and end up being a beggar."

"So you agree?"

"Hahaha, sure kid. Even if your price is all my wealth in return, I won't reject this," Dockrey hurriedly said before his fat uncle hurriedly grabbed his arm and whispered something in an intense way to him.

It seemed he was anxious about the odds of this bet, or feeling suspicious of the overconfidence of Bloom.

"Don't worry," Bloom sneered as he addressed that anxious uncle, "I don't want anything of your companies or money."

"Then what do you want?"

"Liza."

The words fell and not only the face of Dockrey changed, but also the face of that uncle of his as well.

"No f*cking way," the old man shouted in rage, "I won't agree to put my beloved daughter as a bet!"

"Oh… here seems someone valuing his kid more than the wealth of the world… impressive," Bloom laughed before adding, "so you won't accept the bet? What a shame…"

"Wait!" Dockrey shouted as his eyes were now blinded with greed. He took his uncle to a corner and started a hot debate with him that lasted for an entire ten minutes.

And when the two returned, Bloom knew he had what he wanted.
